wow this episode even makes me miss lauren. it is starting to make bo unlikeable and dyson almost nonexistent. all in all i love kenzi and was otherwise bored.
One of the better episodes in a while for me, not great exactly, but most of this season has been so weak...
Ryan was less annoying to me this week, but I still am not a huge fan of him specifically... However, I do like that with him around Bo seems to encounter more Dark Fae though!. Plus naughty BO walking the line with her dark side is a lot of fun!
I liked the new Fae... a Serket? Nice to see something new on the Dark Fae side.
Having Kenzi back was nice and she was fun this episode without being too over-the-top quirky. Especially her facing off with the Morrigan for her beau! How could you make a deal to owe a favor!!! Well that will come back to bite Bo in the ass I'm sure.... Bad Keniz!!!
It seems like the extra episodes this year have really lowered the production value or cost per episode and it shows. There's just been so much less action per episode this year.
Because of that I have missed Dyson being a larger part of the show. Eepisode with a lot of Dyson time tend to be more action-oriented, but I miss the action and not the Dyson.... I have not missed Lauren at all since Bo gave her girlfriend back. It's been nice to not have the whole love triangle thing so up front! Plus frankly Lauren has always bored me honestly.
Overall this was a fairly fun episode to watch considering it had no action and very little of the myth arc.
Yeah, Lauren does nothing at all for me. I'm just fine with her playing a much smaller role. I want to see her back with Dyson, but I can wait a few episodes while she explores the dark side.
Good episode for me! We had to wait the second half of the season, a waste of time in my opinion, to get some action and some fun, let's hope it keeps going with naughty Bo exploring the dark Fae side. I like her new beau in her life, even if "he's bad news" like Kenzi said. I love how sassy Kenzi seems to be more reasonable here than Bo! I don't miss sweet/cold Lauren, so boring this season, or any kind of love triangle. I do miss some kick-ass wolf Dyson, not the complaining and predictable and...boring Dyson in this episode. So I'm pretty happy with Bo moving on, any kind of road or Fae she will have to choose at the end.
I liked it but I dunno it seems like nothing is going on-- while S1 had some blah episodes there was a sense that things were happening and I guess that was due to the short season that the writers had to select things carefully
Glad to see them address my biggest peeve, the way they show enormous bias towards the light fae. That being said, the very names Light and Dark tend to make people think good and evil.
Not bad. Not great either. - The best part was the Kenzi / Morrigan scene. - Ryan is going to be a lot of trouble for Bo. He's good at twisting words and distorting truths. - Looks like the Garuda is already starting to have an influence on things. Everyone is in conflict - Dyson and Hale, Hale and Trick, Bo and Kenzi, etc. Everyone's relationships are eroding and that's the sort of conflict the Garuda need to get the ball rollin'. - Kenzi's boyfriend has served his purpose now. He can go any time.
This season has been passable so far but I think Lost Girl may be in need of a new showrunner next season.

Good episode. I like the concept of Bo exploring the dark side :)
ReplyDeletewhat happened? I've gone from loving this show to not giving a fuck anymore.
ReplyDeleteFor once I'm totally with you! :-)

ReplyDeleteOh yeah I agree. it isn't as intense and interesting as S1
ReplyDeleteI think the same
ReplyDeletewhere the heck is Lauren?!?!?! At least with Lauren and Dyson, there's love..but this..this...what the heck are the writers doing to Bo?!?!?
ReplyDeleteGlad to see them address my biggest peeve, the way they show enormous bias towards the light fae. That being said, the very names Light and Dark tend to make people think good and evil.
ReplyDeleteOh I agree...I don't mind what they're doing now but it feels too forced and unnatural
ReplyDeleteIDEC about this anymore. It's not only poor and inconsistent writing, it's also destroying characters we all used to love. They better fix this. Soon.
ReplyDeleteWho is Lauren?
Not bad. Not great either.
