Truly awesome episode. Multiple double-crossing tonight, most refreshingly, Kalinda with Dana. Gosh, I'm glad Kalinda took Will's side. Then most amusingly, Stacie and Eli. That was an interesting turn of events regarding Eli's ex.
It seems as though Peter has lost interest in his witch hunt, but Wendy will continue it, I guess because she doesn't like to lose. The next episode looks bad for Will. But wasn't that a spunky jury? Hope he gets one just as reasonable next time.
Loved Alicia's suit, not the second one, the first. Kind of pale peachy. She looked beautiful.
I hope she is able to take that week off and vacation with her kids.
Loved it. Exciting from the start. Really liked Peter's reaction at the end there. Also liked the way Cary stood up against Wendy. Carrie Preston killed as always.
Really? I love how evil that woman is. Just running around trying to point the finger at people. It's nice to have such slimy people behind such shiny smiles and well-made suits.
This show just continues to wow me... All the characters were in top form and I was just blown away left and right throughout the episode! But damn, now we have to wait until 2/19??? :(
I am impressed how I don't like any character on this show. They are shown as human beings that will make a mistake from time to time and I think the writers are doing a great job portraying all of them. Even though you can't take anyone's side cause everyone is a bit 'bad', you can still sympathize with them. I loved Peter's reaction to Will and Alicia, I was looking forward to that conversation. No matter what he did in the past, you can tell that he really loves his wife.
Alicia said it best: Wendy really IS out of control. Cary tried, but failed, to bring her in line. Loved the way he looked at Alicia, with sympathy for what Wendy was putting her through.
I go back and forth. I mean I do not like her not one bit, but she does make for a great "villain".
That sleazy zacharine faux sweetness... That's a tough persona to make believable withouth going full on campy and I absolutelly give props to Anika Noni Rose for pulling it off. But the character herself totally irks me.
And may I say, because I rarelly see it mentioned: David Lee is AWESOME! I swear if Eli wasn't so determined to dislike the guy I think they'd really get along....
I thought that Peter realized that pursuing this would bite him back, especially since all witnesses tied him to Will and his friend judges. And I think WSC was going after Peter. If that transcript had been released, the press would have created another major scandal that would have derailed Peter's future campaign.
That's what Wendy revealed to Will, but I didn't know if she meant it. If the reason she's going after Peter is revenge for his beating her in the election, then that lady is truly off her rocker!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Score one for the ham sandwich. I love that show!

I always suspect a hit-and-run troll when there is no accompanying comment. Don't worry about it.
ReplyDeleteI hope this is the last we see of Wendy....I hate how she speaks....I still feel cheated on the whole Alicia/Will storyline.

ReplyDeleteI loved how Dana was pissed off that Kalinda played her. Girl, you were threatening her two closest friends, what did you think was gonna happen?

ReplyDeleteOh, we do? Bummer. The Walking Dead doesn't start until the 12th, I've given up on UOaT, so next Sunday will be dull for me.

I guess I'm on the "love to hate" bandwagon.
Perfect from start to finish!

Such an awesome episode! It was perfect!
ReplyDeleteThis is officially my favourite show on tv, I really hope it can get at least to season 5.
ReplyDeleteWOW. More happened in the first 4mn than in half an hour on most TV shows! Everything was perfect. wow

ReplyDeleteit'd be excellent if Cary and Alicia could resume their previous relationship, friendly and professional.
