I seriously wonder what's going to happen if everyone finds out that Emma was pretending to be Sutton and that's why she was so nice for a while. If I was Sutton's family, I'd welcome Emma with open arms as soon as I found out
That would be the optimistic outcome but there are other considerations.
- The Mercers have had a complete stranger living in their house for months. They don't know who she really is or where she came from. - When Sutton went missing and was thought dead, Emma still didn't tell anyone in the Mercer family. - Emma (along with Sutton) has been digging into Kristen and Ted's past ever since she arrived.
From a Mercer's perspective, these things call into question Emma's motives for everything she has said and done since she started impersonating her sister.
Because of all the issues above, I think Emma needs to let Laurel in on her secret as soon as possible. Emma has a much better chance of gaining her as an ally if the truth comes from her lips, voluntarily.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
How is it that Sutton is completely right and I still want to strangle her anyway?
ReplyDeleteI want to strangle her all the time. Emma is so much better
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Laurel took Justin back
ReplyDeleteSutton is starting to dismantle all of the relationships that Emma repaired while she was away.

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. I just hope they'll accept Emma in the end
ReplyDeleteIn the end they may have to. It is becoming fairly clear that there's a good chance that either Ted or Alec is the father of the twins.
