Ha! I think we've seen Luther in the only mood he knows! He's too invested in his issues to leave room for anything that might distract him from his goals. Which inevitably means he's constantly put in difficult situations, considering the nature of his issues. Kind of like Oliva... ;) Their range of emotions is very limited, I'm pretty sure the state of constant alert and awareness of an eventual threat is the state in which they feel comfortable!
I, too, was disappointed at how little she was used. I love the chemistry between them as characters, and I definitely think that both actors raise each others game, their scenes together are intense.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
So far we have seen happy and content Luther? O-o

ReplyDeleteI love this show. I think a happy Luther would be a strange sight to see.
ReplyDeleteHope series 3 has more Alice. The second series was fantastic but she was missed.

ReplyDeleteI agree...both actors are especially good when they're opposite each other. And Alice/Luther is easily the most interesting relationship in the show.
