  4. Thanks for uploading this video after my request.
Yeah, that scene with Orla Brady was definitely a highlight.

  5. I really hope that we get to see Orla Brady some more this season. That scene with Elizabeth and Walter is probably one of my favorties of the whole show.

  6. Love that Scene , That was the highlight of the season acting wise for me so far.
I could watch it over and over

  8. That was such a fantastic scene! Along with others here, I'm wondering how on earth John Noble hasn't got an Emmy yet! x

  9. I definitely agree with John Noble.  His scene with Orla Brady was one of the best scenes in the series this season.  At the moment, I can't think of a better scene.

  10. These are my two favorite scenes of the whole season so far.  Usually I am an action-oriented TV viewer.  I get impatient at melodrama and hate emoangsting on screen.  However, in these two scenes I found myself wishing that the moment had lasted a little longer.  They were so well done and as Noble said was the catalyst for changes I have been desperately wanting this season.  The pacing, acting, directing, everything was perfect in these two little moments and the number one reason why I want Fringe to continue.

  11. She brings a compassion that is sometimes missing in other more goal-oriented characters and themes.  In a way, she humanizes the characters she interacts with and helps me understand them better.  I'm with you on seeing her more often.  She is a tremendous actress.

  12. For me it is a tie with the scene at the end when Walter goes to Peter's place to say he will help.  Perhaps it's because I have been waiting for Walter and Peter to be on the same page again for so long that its culmination was so fulfilling,  I look at these 2 scenes as the beginning of Fringe gelling for me this season.  Not that I haven't enjoyed other episodes before this one this season.

  13. The Peter / Walter scene was good to me also but the impact lessened for me when I saw the clip from Making Angels where Walter is back to giving Peter a hard time again.

  14. Really?  Urgh!  I have been somewhat avoiding Fringe spoilers in an attempt to be surprised when the episode airs (love the huge mind bends they throw in).  I haven't seen that preview, just the one that aired after the last episode.  I guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up that their relationship would bounce back relatively quickly.  They are after all basically strangers and this is not USA Network.

  15. Do yourself a favor and watch the clip.  You'll be annoyed at Walter but it may make Alt-Astrid your new favorite character:

  16. Thanks. I always love the "Noble Intentions" videos...
And this episode was amazing, especially the scene with Peter mother talking to Walter... so heartbreaking!

  17. Alt-Astrid and Alt-Broyles have always been the best things about the other universe.  That clip just makes it all the more true.  Love the logic.  Hopefully Walter listens because my patience is wearing thin with him.  Who knew I would prefer Walternate?

  18. Heh.  This show is full of surprises.  I never would have guessed that Alt-Broyles would be a traitor.

  19. This scene has become one of my favourite moments in Fringe. It's one I always wanted to see and Orla Brady and John Noble were so brilliant in it. I hope it's not the last we see of Elizabeth and Orla Brady.

That last scene between Walter and Peter was lovely too. Not quite the father/son moments I've been missing but it was a moving scene nonetheless.

  20. Definitely a wonderful scene from an outstanding ep. I hope that we get to see more of Orla in the future eps.
