  3. Awesome that Boardwalk Empire is cleaning up! (well, kinda)!

HBO is certainly cleaning up again though! The awards keep coming for the best network on TV.....

  4. SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY FOR VIOLA DAVIS AND JEAN DUJARDEN!!!

  5. Parks & Recreation? Community? Justified? What the hell is wrong with the damn awards these days. Glee a comedy? Patrick J. Adams over Timothy Olyphant? Fffffff......

I hate that Modern Family keeps on getting awards just because they have gay characters. Their gay characters are crap, have been since after the first season. They turned Eric Stonestreet`s Cameron from one of the best gay characters on TV to a whiney drama queen i dont understand who likes. And what is good with that show anymore, besides Luke and maybe Phil and the guest stars? Damn....i wish HFPA would be taken even more less seriously, they are destorying honoring shows that are good (for the most part).

  6. And don't forget: No Breaking Bad or Fringe.

  7. Breaking Bad got nominated for the show. But the wont win, because of the main characters are "unmoral". Fringe yes, but i dont think that this is the right award show for Fringe to be nominated in. Fringe has only won TCA-awards, and that is for John Noble. TCA (The critics, the real ones, not the fake ones that is part of SAG and Globes) is like the most right award show, followed by the Emmy`s.

  8. I know it was nominated, but I meant it didn't win. Also, may I ask: Are you Danish?

  9. Thanks for the winner's list! I hope The Help wins big at the Oscars! :)

  10. I love Steve Buscemi but he isn't even the strongest actor on Boardwalk let alone better than someone like Bryan Cranston

  11. I think you might be right about Buscemi, Michael Shannon is AMAZING!
However, I do think Buscemi is perfect in the role and being the lead in the best (arguably) show on TV gives him an advantage in some people's minds I guess.I could not argue against Cranston or Buscemi honestly. They're both that good.

  12. Hmmm "half" Danish, but mostly Norwegian?

Wouldn't yo be equal parts Norwegian and Danish if you are half Danish? XD Not poking fun at you, it just struck me as funny to be half of one nationality and MORE of another....

Born and live in Norway so that is your stronger association maybe?

I guess I simplify if asked my ancestry and say Dutch when in fact I have 25% Dutch, and then equal parts German and Swedish... and and 5 or 6 other nationalities mixed in smaller percentages! XD!

Sometimes I love the internet for the ability to chat with or learn from people all around the globe!

  13. Well overall there wasn't any surprises other than
Julianna Margulies wasn't she a favorite to win? I think that it has become some sort of joke in a way. It isn't even a competition...

  14. Haha i was to edit that. Born Danish, but i am more Norwegian since i have lived here all my life besides 2 years in New Orleans, LA and 1 year in Denmark when i was a baby.

  15. I have had my money on these two picking up the big awards since award season started. Very well deserved.

  16. I'm so happyo for Boardwalk Empire, Betty White and The Help! But Jessica Lange? Seriously??

    ReplyDelete
  17. AH! Right, HBO is the best network on TV (but you can not apply its cooking recipe to other networks! :-p).

  18. I'm so happy for Jean Dujardin!
I'm a little disappointed about Bryan Cranston, he's such a great actor!
And I'm tired to see Modern Family to keep winning awards again and again, while Community, Cougar Town, Homeland, Fringe, Justified, and some great shows are always snubbed.

  19. So happy for Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer.. I thought they did a fantastic job, and I'm glad Davis was able to hold her own against Meryl Streep, Tilda Swinton, and Glenn Close.  I'm happy for Kate Winslet as well, though I don't know that it came as a surprise to anyone.

  20. Much as I love Julianna as Alicia, it was right that Jessica won. AMAZING work on American Horror Story.

  21. Thank you. I've wondered for a while.

  22. I actually think Jack Huston steels the show and Michael Pitt did a great job in S2 but yeah they are more supporting actors so I get why Steve always gets the nominations.

I will give Steve something though his acceptance speech was very funny and better him winning than that random nomination for the guy from Suits

  23. The lack of awards for Michael for the performance is shocking, he needed an Oscar nomination!
