I know this is slightly unrelated to TV, but it seems like a worthy place to gain support, seeing as The X Factor & An Idiot Abroad are both TV Shows.
As many UK fans know, The X Factor has dominated the one highly sought after Christmas Number One from 2005-present, with the one exception being 2009 when the UK rebelled by pushing Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name" above winner Joe McElderry.
Last year, numerous unsuccessful attempts were made to beat the X-Factor train, but this year one quite original idea is beginning to catch on...
In TV "documentary" An Idiot Abroad this year, the ever popular Karl Pilkington, known for his work with comedian Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant, suggested his song of choice was Chaz & Dave's "Ain't No Pleasing You" leading him to record it for the final moments of the TV Series' run.
Now, a campaign has been set in motion to get the "Idiot" to number one this Christmas with his rendition of the song, performed alongside Chaz & Dave.
Half the trouble so far, is that the support needs to grow more to ensure that Ricky Gervais and co. will release the single in time for the December 18th starting date, so show your support behind the campaign!
