While you're itching and waiting for the season premiere of ABC's hit series Pretty Little Liars, we got our hands on the episode, airing on Monday, January 2nd at 8pm. You've been tweeting me questions @cityfitch about the first hour of 2012 (entitled "Through Many Dangers, Toils, And Snares"), and here are my answers!
Will Spencer get out of jail first? Does it cause problems between her and the other Liars? - @Raving_Ranter
They all get out together and are forced to do community service. Two of the girls get out of service early, but two more girls do something that winds up getting them in trouble.
Why are Spencer and Emily fighting in the beginning? - @sammmm02
Spencer and Emily are fighting in the very first scene of the premiere, and the reasoning for that lies in how they each want to deal with 'A' after he put them all in jail.
Is it true that the little liars are not friends/speaking to each other? - @DG_AddieTFB
I wish I could tell you otherwise, but this rumor is totally true. Well, they're definitely not friends... but they are speaking to each other (they have to, it's their show). After the mess they've gotten themselves into in the mid-season finale, the girls have NOT been on good terms with one another, and it threatens to ruin their entire group dynamic. Emily in particular is at odds with the rest of the girls- so much so that she may turn to an extremely dangerous ememy for support.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how much Ezria is there? - @Jouja_x
TWENTY! I'll be perfectly honest with you, I wasn't the biggest Ezria fan, but after the season premiere I'm totally back on board. Their storyline takes up a lot of the premiere, and it's really shocking!

More?! Fine... I'm not sure if I can tell you this, but I will anyway: Aria and Ezra finally come clean to Aria's parents. The scene where they do so is certainly one of my favorites in the season. It's amazing, pretty realistic, and after complaining for months about my frustrations with them not stepping out as a couple, my anger was finally put to rest. I love where it's going, and can't wait to see the rest of the season.

Aria and Ezra spend a LOT of the premiere in turmoil... but without signifying if they get back together (confused? click here), there is no kiss between them in the season premiere. There is, however, a kiss between _____ and _____. And it's super romantic!

YES. And the thing about it is, 'A' wants that box. Really, really badly.

Cool it, Alexandra. We obviously don't find out who 'A' is in the premiere, BUT there's HUGE news in this department. The girls get closer to 'A' than ever before, and when all's said and done, the tables will completely turn. The chase will go from 'A' hunting the girls to the girls hunting 'A' after they _i__ __s ___l ___n_.

They talk. They talk more than once. At least one of them is their biggest fight ever. That's all I'll say.

I won't tell you if they do or don't. But I will tell you that there's a strange scene between them where Spencer says "I do" a lot and I may be overreacting but it seems to be foreshadowing something...

Not in this episode, no. But there are new characters on the way, and one of my favorite characters makes a rare appearance in the premiere!

I'll confirm that no one dies in the premiere... but who may push up daisies by the end of the year? You never know with this show!
