I loved it! I loved Jimmy standing up to his future father-in-law! That was amazing! (And are Jimmy and Breena the show's version of Bud and Harriet? I can see them popping out kids every two years, like they did.)
Awww at Tony and Gibbs spending Christmas together! And can we just get the full Wendy story, please?
What an amazing episode! I really enjoy all the humorous scenes and of course the touching scenes! The cookie scene was hilarious! The scene with Gibbs delivering the baby was just amazing. I love babies & I love NCIS and they meshed them perfectly without over doing it! Loved Palmer standing up to his future FIL. Oh and Abby putting them in timeout was a win! Ha! Never mess with Abby! Just loved the episode! <3
I found it interesting that it seems it was Tony who broke up with Wendy, believing he wouldn't be able to give everything to the job if he was still with Wendy. I loved how Gibbs told Mike Frank's daughter-in-law that Tony would be there for Christmas dinner.
Love Jimmy standing up to his father-in-law as well that was just classic.
This was a good episode....Jimmy grew a backbone at the end. I definitely knew the chick would go into labor that night. I love Ziva and Gibbs scenes. Im over Danozo.
Loved the case, loved Jimmy and his new family, loved Tony and Gibbs, but NCIS seems to lose focus. How about a big team moment? How about a big team celebration? Where is the family-sense? Kinda sad that it didn't happen :(
I really love this show but I really hope that the writers do not turn it into a soap opera drama. I appreciate that the gang have personal lives............I for one do not tune in to see this aspect of their lives. I tune in for the crime story, the chemistry of the team on the case, the sometimes very funny moments (thank you Tony!) and the occasional touching moments. Don't stray from this formula because that will spell disaster in my opinion. If they want to hook Tony up so badly.......I think the military chaplain woman would be wonderful for him..........please do not dredge up some long lost babe from another time in his life............now if they must please correct me if I am wrong but wasn't there mention that Wendy had a son (7yrs old) ? Hmmmm is that son Tony's???? That would be quite the stunner and I would certainly like to see how he would handle being a father....but I digress....just be careful with the balance. OK..here is some old time TV stuff......You never had to see Columbos wife to appreciate the fact that he was married ...when Barney Miller first aired the series concentrated quite a bit on his homelife...that was quickly changed and the precinct became the main location and the series flourished. We never had to really see MASH wives and husbands.....there was talks and innuendo but the main story was the MASH unit. I guess what I am expressing here is I don't want the writers to delve too much into the personal lives....it muddies the waters. Then all of a sudden the NCIS teams family members are kidnapped and blah blah blah ...you know how that drama goes. Example poor Hotch from Criminal Minds his wife was murdered. Langston from CSI his wife was kidnapped and almost killed. Horatio's wife killed....do you see what I am saying...it is too tempting for the writers to put the families in danger. I mean I read the news and I don't see this happening to the FBI people or the police or forensics teams. Careful..............is all I am saying. Thanks for reading and don't misread me ..I love this show...it is just my opinion. Thanks
Enjoyed it very much...loved the "Hair cut" tip of the hat to first and second season...loved that Palmer grew a back bone...did you really think he wouldn't???
They have always shown parts of there personal lives throughout the series, but at times they just give us a bit more and really if you think about it they have been on for nine years, there has to be more to a show then just the crime aspect to it..Have you stayed stagnate for 9 years? I sat here for the past five minutes trying to think of another one hour drama/crime show that only shows what you want it to do and honestly i cannot.....
I really did enjoy this episode and i am so glad Palmer told his farther in law to be to shut up! About time Palmer keep it up...you are getting to old to keep playing a 20 something without standing up for yourself. I wish that they could have one Christmas episode where they aren't on a case for the majority of the time.Sure it was nice that Jethro help with the birthing process while Ziva was reenacting a gun fighter from the wild west days..and she got her men, shot one dead and some hand to hand combat with the second, she got him to. The last 2 minutes was the best with Jethro putting the bike together for Franks grand daughter with Tony in tow the two headed out with the xmas lights going on......
Where was Ducky? I only saw him with Palmer for maybe 30 seconds.
loved it and the end with ziva shoot the Russian and the woman giving birther with the back tracking of silent night have to be my Favorited part i kinda laughed because it not the right song but still EPIC EPEROSDE
I really loved the Gibbs/Ziva scenes! I already enjoyed them very mich in "Engaged Part 2". And I love Ziva being all Ninja-kick-ass! Very cool, but I would have liked to see her come to that Christmas dinner as well, even though it's not her religon.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteAwww at Tony and Gibbs spending Christmas together! And can we just get the full Wendy story, please?
Great episode!
I really enjoyed the episode. I enjoyed Gibbs and Ziva silent "No, you deliver the baby. I'll go keep guard." It was really good.
ReplyDeleteI love Gibbs telling Tony to man up. Not make the same mistakes he did.
Love the Palmer and future father-in-law part and the time out.
The Abby tattoo part. Can't forget anything McGee or Ducky also good.
But my favorite was the cookie parts with McGee and Tony and the Russian Dude.

ReplyDeleteThis was a decent episode until the trite, abrasive shootout scene with silent night playing in the background. It was terrible.

ReplyDeletei am agree is time to meet the woman

ReplyDeleteTony and Wendy broke up much longer than seven years ago. She's been married since then, and there is no way that kid is his.
