I just thought I'll post this. Because I'm thinking the whole Shelburne thing might have something to do with the letters from Japan. I asked Co-Executive Producer Peter Lenkov on Twitter just not too long ago and got an instant response from him.
Here's my question:
Please answer. I was wondering could the Champ Box with the letters from Japan could be a key clue to Shelburne?

Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you, this is very interesting!
ReplyDeleteCome on people Shelburne is Steve's mom, It has too be her.
ReplyDeleteMy line of thinking goes like this, we know almost nothing about her,
I don't believe in all the times she has been mentioned over the course
of this series she has ever even been referred to by name. I have been
wondering ever since the name Shelburne first appeared that it might be
an anagram for someone we already know, alas we do not know her name.
She was also allegedly killed in a car bomb, and all great "surprise I'm
not really dead" story lines in tv history began with a car bomb and
obviously no identification was made, not to mention Steve didn't even
hear that cause of death until recently he always thought she was killed
by a drunk driver, so the story has already changed once. Joe seems to
be sheparding this entire Shelburne thing a little too closely, and I
think it's all about protecting Steve's mom who remains in hiding all
these years later for reasons related to Wo Fat. One last thing, during
Joe's phone call he simply told the person on the other end that "Steve
is getting too close" he didn't say McGarrett, he took the more personal
approach and said Steve. So don't be surprised if we suddenly start
learning a lot more about Steve's teenage years when his mom was
allegedly murdered. It is for these reasons I am sure that Steve's
presumed dead mother is in fact Shelburne.
Thanks
ReplyDeleteNice going McPhee! :)
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking it is Steve's mom for awhile, but i could be wrong.
Hi guys! Can this be farfetched? I read it somewhere suggesting that Wofat is actually Steve's half brother. What I also read is that Shelburne is steve's mom. Last year Wofat warned Steve not to look into his family because Steve wouldn't like what he would find. Or Can Steve also be Shelbourne and nobody know's about it.
ReplyDeleteYep. Sure does! The past couple of days it has gotten thinking that finally
ReplyDeleteyes Shelburne could be his mother. The car bombing really didn't explain much
all we have seen is photos there hasn't been any lab reports on how she died,
Chin did say that the bombing wasn't an accident it was a murder. Steve, John
or Chin didn't mention who's Steve's mums name is at all. Remember the finale
Steve was conned into Laura Hill's murder by somebody placing Steve's
fingerprints in Laura's home even though he did say he didn't recall ever that
he has not visited her place or does not know where she lives. Can fingerprints
can be teh same as family members?
I'm thinking the bombing was a set up and she planted it herself and decided
to run off told John that the famiily was in trouble. She bombed the car, rang
off to Japan, John sent the kids to the mainland and continued on the
investigation. Maybe both John & Steve's mother was both working on the
case and found something was up between Wo Fat & Hiro Noshimuri before the
bombing happened. And I think Steve's mother was sending the letters to John on
where she was and what she was up to. And I think Joe is finishing off what
John was doing before he was killed off by Hesse. And I think Joe has been
visiting her with Joe telling her everything on how Steve & Mary Ann is
doing back in the U.S.
This really does coincide with what I have been hearing the last couple of
weeks in an upcoming episode. William Sadler will be back in Episode 14 I heard
today and I think the teenage McGarrett will be in this episode also so maybe
this could be it!
Maybe I could be wrong LOL but that's my guess but we'll find out on January
9th. I guessed Kono 100% all the way and I knew the Gov was up to something
before she died so maybe I could be right again
Thank you! Now, I'm getting really curious!
ReplyDeletei hear everything you are saying EXCEPT the part where u sed steve only recently learned about her cause of death. he knew all along the car exploded and she died; however, he thought she crashed and tht was the cause of the explosion. other than that, i like your line of thought.
ReplyDeletecool theory
