Some Community fans will gather at the NBC headquarters, the Rockerfeller Center in New York City, on Thursday, December 23 at 1pm to protest against the decision of pulling NBC out of their schedule for January/February 2012. This was organized on Twitter via hashtags (#OccupyNBC, #SaveCommunity), a Craigslist announcement and a Facebook page. Wearing evil goatees and bringing little Christmas trees would be much appreciated.
As of yesterday morning, 50 people confirmed on Facebook that they would attend to this protest movement that will turn things around... or maybe it won't, but it will definitely not hurt to show some support this way, even if perhaps most of the NBC executives are not working during the Christmas break - the fat cats in suits are probably in their chalet, smoking cigars, watching Shitney and stroking their white fat cat sitting on their lap.
If the protestors don't succeed in pressuring NBC's execs into putting back Community on their schedule this January (that would be a nice Christmas miracle), the show is expected to return on the air this March with 12 new episodes.
Merry Christmas to you all !
