NBC closed the week on a typically winning note with Philadelphia at the New Your Giants on Sunday Night Football at an estimated 13.9 rating/21 share for the primetime portion from 8:30-11 p.m. Here is the half-hour breakdown:

ABC was on the map care of the annual American Music Awards, which increased by three percent from one year earlier with an 8.0/12 in the overnights. Last year, a 7.8/12 on 11/22/10 translated into 11.72 million viewers and s 4.3/10 among adults 18-49. Here is the half-hour breakdown:

At 7 p.m. on ABC was special Countdown to the American Music Awards at a third-place 3.1/ 5 in the overnights at 7 p.m.
Over at CBS, results are estimated due to an approximate half-hour football overrun, which dominated at 7 p.m. with a 13.3/22. Granddaddy 60 Minutes followed with a first-place 10.3/16 in the overnights from 7:30-8:30 p.m., followed by The Amazing Race (#3: 7.0/11 from 8:30-9:30 p.m.), older skewing The Good Wife (#3: 7.2/11 from 9:30-10:30 p.m.) and the first half of CSI: Miami (#3: 6.2/10 at 10:30 p.m.). As a reminder, Undercover Boss on CBS returns for season three in the Sunday 8 p.m. hour effective on January 15.
Fox took a considerable hit opposite football and The American Music Awards with its combination of two episodes of The Cleveland Show (7 p.m. repeat: #4, 2.0/ 3, 7:30 p.m.: #4, 2.4/ 4), The Simpsons (#4, 3.6/ 5), recent entry Allen Gregory (#4: 2.3/ 3), Family Guy (#4: 3.7/ 5) and American Dad (#4: 2.9/ 4). Allen Gregory, which slid by 36 percent from The Simpsons in the overnights this week, is expected to be canceled at any moment.
