  1. That is tragic!!! OH dear god :(

  2. Oh my God. I never thought I'd see 2 million beside Fringe. :O.

    ReplyDelete
  3. This doesn't surprise me for this week for Fringe. Everyone in the US is already taking off for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I'm actually surprised that this number was LAST weeks and it didn't go down from then. $10 says the Live +3 numbers on Monday at like +62% again rising it to a 1.8. LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  4. No numbers for "Supernatural," but with as bad as last night's episode was, I can't imagine they'll be good when they come in. Miserable.

    ReplyDelete
  5. ....To bad for Fringe... I really hoped it would be more... O_o...
At least I do kind-a know that FOX would never pull the trigger and cancel Fringe in the "middle"...

    ReplyDelete
  6. I don't watch Supernatural but man, were the people on my Twitter pissed last night. I was wondering what the hell had happened. LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Oh, fuck. This is the end.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Well if they are going to cancel they should tell them early so it can give the writers time to write a great ending for the show.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'm so disgusted, why the hell did i even bother,i knew the numbers for Fringe would be horrible.SHIT!!

  10. Public Service Announcement: I think everyone needs to calm down. They make decisions in late Feb/March about the next season of shows. If these numbers are what we premiere too in Jan, they worry. The only thing that is happening now is that people are spreading panic which is never good and keeps viewers away from the show. My prediction? It comes back in Jan to a 1.5 or 1.6 - which is typical for a 9pm Friday show in Jan. This is why all shows are ending earlier this Nov sweeps too. Grey's Anatomy? They had their fall finale LAST week. It's cause the middle of Nov - the end of Nov is now a dead zone b/c of the holiday schedule in the US. And the Live + 3 numbers are insane for this show. Those DO count - no matter what people say. (End of my PSA.)

  11. I don't think that allot of people are already taking off for the holiday, its still 5 days away.I found in business its will start on Tuesday, lasted Wed...I think the its just that its on Fri.night and people are out,for whatever reason....I knew the numbers would suck, and i expected it,lets see what happens when the final results come in. :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Oh well, it seems most major network shows are down. Which is good news for Fringe.....I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  13. And i approve of that message! :)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oh no. Fringe needs a fifth season. And with those ratings, that's not gonna happen.

    ReplyDelete
  15. ??? Really?
What was it that pissed people off so much?
Was it the cliffhanger or something?

    ReplyDelete
  16. :( aaww...low total for Supernatural...at least the demo are still more important. but I'm afraid that it will go down in the final numbers...where was everyone? Last episode was amazing and 100x better than last week

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm trying to see a glint of hope in Fringe's ratings... It's very faint, but I can still see it... It'll get stronger with the +3 DVR ratings... I'm sure of it.... :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well I have to say than no episode this season has lived up to even the worst episodes of Season 3 for me. But I still have faith in the writers, and I expect the next episode to change that. This season reminds me a lot of the earlier episodes of season 1 in that it took time to get to know and love the characters and that it didnt get really good till about midway through 1st season....
I am not ready to give up on Fringe just yet. but the next few episodes are key.
Its unfortunate that they didn't get to show the intended Fall Finale, but maybe that's a blessing in disguise.
Praying for a strong opening to the next episode

    ReplyDelete
  19. The past few weeks the 18-49 has stayed the same and overall viewers were adjusted up in the final ratings. These ones are only the preliminary numbers.

But  from what I read the only show about 0.7 in 18-49 this week was Top Model.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I don't really know what happened on Twitter, but reading a few comments on YouTube, under the promo for the next episode,it seems that a lot of people didn't take the cliffhanger very well.I don't know why,but a lot of them seem certain that Bobby will die. And,of course, with all the talk about Bobby dying and dying in general we got back to the whole Cas issue.

I don't really get it,but I'm guessing that was the problem.Personally,I think it's too soon to get upset over both characters.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 90210 and Ringer both got 0,7 this week too

    ReplyDelete
  22. Supernatural is so low :( Hopefully we get adjusted up.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I disagree. Alot of people hated the last episode, and this might reflect that. It's sad because this one was very good.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm not surprised that Supernatural is so low...it is an old work horse and I know several people who were huge fans back in the day but who have stopped watching due to storylines and change in characters, etc...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Dear Fringe,
Plan the ending to your show,
    Sincerely, the fans.

    ReplyDelete
  26. No no, Blue Bloods is up this week.  No need to panic.

    ReplyDelete
  27. According to you I'm a Blue bloods fan....okay

    ReplyDelete
  28. sadly its the same thing with every old shows, whatever you do, in whatever show you're in, some people won't like and the more a show get old, the more its hard to have new viewers

    ReplyDelete
  29. I thought Supernatural was great last night. Last week's episode was the worst I think they have ever done which might explain the low numbers this week.

    ReplyDelete
  30. That was the show watched by the most people, so statistically that was the most likely show you were referring to...

    ReplyDelete
  31. I completely agree with this.
I am broken up about Bobby but it was forecasted this would happen, and the whole episode I felt the theme was Bobby telling the brothers off one last time before he gets put out of commission, whether temporarily or permanently I have yet to ascertain.

But the brothers will certainly not be able to handle Bobby's death. I know I'll be completely heartbroken if they finally off his character.

    ReplyDelete
  32. This is Spoilertv aren't SPN and Fringe the top two shows on here? just sayin'...I was referring to Fringe btw.

    ReplyDelete
  33. So sad for fringe :(..but still hoping that it would pick up higher ratings when it comes back in Jan.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Because a show has the more US Live viewers doesn't mean it has the biggest international online fanbase, its not the same thing at all

    ReplyDelete
  35. A lot of people take the whole Thanksgiving week off.  Those people might have gotten a jump on travel Friday night.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Wow! Go Blue Bloods! Is Supernatural down again? It's such ashame!

    ReplyDelete
  37. A lot of people take Monday and Tuesday off the week of Thanksgiving b/c they are already given Weds off. And in the US its 'driving holiday' meaning people drive mostly to get where they are going. I know that most of the people I work with do this and it makes for a nice 'light' work week at work on Thanksgiving week. LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  38. It was weird, but they weren't saying. There was just a lot of 'Really?! Supernatural WTF?!' comments. I gotta say, it made me want to watch the show to see what happened. LOL! (One of these days I'll start that series from the beginning and watch it all the way through.)

    ReplyDelete
  39. I actually think it's a GOOD thing that we didn't get 408 this year, just with the people in it, and now that we have all seen the promo and have 2 month to obsess over it and build up it's buzz. AND when it does air in Jan, we only have to wait one WEEK to see what happens next. For my sanity at least, that is a good thing. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  40. I would be desperate if this weren't Chuck's last season.

It seems that Grimm is keeping relatively steady, isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  41. But Dear Bob
There's no need to plan for the end,not yet,i have hope and i don't want to get the Gods angry so have a little faith,it might just help!

    Sincerely
    A Fan

    ReplyDelete
  42. And I agree with you, once again! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  43. I really hope you're right, but I can understand why some fans are so afraid by these numbers... and why they want an ending plan now for this amazing show. So many questions and plots need some time to be answered in a Fringe way...
Well I'm with you though, I want to believe in January ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Supernatural has a massive international online fanbase.  Many haven't found us here yet.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Everyone without kids is. Those with vacation time leave early and spend time with family.  One's spouse's family and Thanksgiving.  One at Christmas.

    ReplyDelete
  46. What are you talking about.  It was a fabulous episode.  Funny, dramatic, sad, and horror.  Can't beat that.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Why are you saying that to me? I agree with you but my comment was to answer to Baff who think that because Blue Blood has the highest friday us live rating mean everyone here is watching it

    ReplyDelete
  48. Oh trust me i know, except i have to do both parents and inlaws on Turkey day, then do the same on x-mas.By the time the holidays are over,i'm over and out of my mind........

    ReplyDelete
  49. I love Castiel but SPN was never the Castiel show.  It's about two brothers.  If any one read the info on the next eppy.  Bobby's not dead yet.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Last night's episode was fantastic.  I have never missed an episode.  I'm a writer.  I found nothing wrong with it other then Bobby's injury.  Give the series a chance to carry it out and then maybe get angry.  Don't take the Cas issue out on the boys and the show.  Communicate with the writers.  Why is the show and Jensen and Jared being punished for it?  I'm with Bec666

    ReplyDelete
  51. Bobby is not dead yet.  There is another episode.  Let's wait and see.

    ReplyDelete
  52. It's a great show.  It has a rabid fandom as you can see. lol

    ReplyDelete
  53. It IS a great show. Truly great. For all times great. But it's been bumpy as hell this season, and the utter nadir was last night's episode. If there were any way I could stop watching "Supernatural," which there isn't, last night would've done it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me at all if nobody on here watched Blue Bloods.

I figured Lea was talking about Fringe, but they could just as easily have been bemoaning the dismal ratings of SPN, or Chuck, or even Nikita.  Or, they could even have been voicing their frustration at the success of yet more cut-and-paste cop shows.

Since there was no possible way to discern what they were referring to, I jumped to the stupidest conclusion I could come up with.

    ReplyDelete
  55. LOL. I love when a show has dedicated fans though. It means the creators do/did something right! I might treat myself to season 1 over Christmas break when I'm back visiting family and bored. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Supernatural's ratings are back to .7...but at least they seem to be stable.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The preliminaries of Supernatural have been at 0.7 for weeks now.  It keeps getting adjusted up to a 0.8 in the finals, which will be posted on Monday.  Good chance that the finals this week will do the same.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Oh, I see. So which one is the real ratings? The one in the finals or the preliminaries?

    ReplyDelete
  59. The finals are the real ratings that the networks look at.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Wow, really? If that were to happen for me, it would've been last week's godawful wedding episode. I thought this one was up there with "Slash Fiction"...

    ReplyDelete
  61. I hope that CSI: NY doesn't fall with the ratings too much! I want it to get a season 9! Blue Bloods is looking good though, I think it will see the renewal

    ReplyDelete
  62. apparently the show was pre-empted in at least one market so it may actually be adjusted down in the finals.

    ReplyDelete
  63. It looks like a series low for SPN.

    ReplyDelete
  64. as did Hart of Dixie which adjusted up in the finals.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Just how many people own a crystal ball now days?

Low numbers are most likely due to a poor episode the previous week. In SPN.s case this week I think pre-emptions may be the most likely cause.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Don't watch Blue Blood, but hate to see SPN at the bottom of the list.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I think Cas had to go just because they had wrapped up the 'Angel' thing. They couldn't have Castiel around saving the day every time they got in trouble, or healing them every time one of them got hurt. I do hope he comes back, maybe the way he did in season 5, an Angel still but with very limited powers.

As for Bobby, Sera and the writers aren't that stupid. He's a fan favorite.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'd argue that in reality Cas rarely swept in to save them.  He didn't get involved in most monster cases.  It wasn't angel business. When he did come along on cases, the writers usually found a way to make him temporarily powerless.  And now that he's gone, who really believes that either Sam or Dean are going to die mid-series for real?  How has the absence of Castiel ramped up the suspense in that way? What Cas added a different perspective on the Supernatural universe that added a new dimension to the storyline - one I found interesting. I find ghost and witch hunts pretty dull after the complexity that the show used to have.  Personally I'd like Cas to return with human or greatly diminished angel powers.  He'd still have the insight and perspective of an angel, but his healing powers would be more limited.

I do think though that the closeness that Sam and Dean have developed with Bobby is much more of a handicap to their growth.  The writers could have kept Bobby as someone Sam and Dean contacted only occasionally, but now there's really no way to limit their dependency on Bobby without killing him off.  Even if Bobby retires, what's to stop Sam and Dean from calling Bobby for answers every episode?  It's time for the boys to move out of their parent's basement/panic room and start relying on themselves and developing their own contacts.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I don't want Bobby to die or be off the show. I do however think they need to go back to having a few more episodes with just the brothers. Although if you think about the last few seasons most episodes were with either Castiel or Bobby.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'm really feeling this season that it's time they shake things up if this show is to continue.  Garaging the impala for a few weeks, Dean in a cast for a half episode, and Bobby in the hospital for a few episodes isn't enough to do it.  I've heard people say Bobby keeps them grounded, but maybe it's time one or both of them become ungrounded.  I don't want a return to Sam's demon blood addiction, but you have to admit that when he was truly off the rails, things were a lot more interesting.  Let's see what the kids do when Dad's not around to send them to their room (the panic room) when they act out.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Whoever said it was the Castiel show?  I've never read any comments that the show should revolve around Cas.  That doesn't mean though, that fans don't have a right to object to the decision to kill of Cas, just like fans have the right to object to killing off Bobby.  My guess as to the connection between Cas and Bobby is that some viewers were unhappy with the show's tendency to kill off all reoccuring supporting characters, which is a valid viewpoint.  It doesn't mean that those people don't understand that the show is the story of Sam and Dean.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Oh yeah! I know...it is sad though
