  1. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS EPISODE, LIKE HIGH!DEAN.

    AND OH GOD THE END.

  2. Lots of action, good humor and bad photoshopping all add up to a fast, fun episode.  Loved "The Rise of Dick"!

    Five bucks says Bobby's dead.

    ReplyDelete
  3. 0_O OH MY CASS!! SO FREAKING TOTALLY AMAZING-AWEOMSE.....I Can't think right now

    I won't survive 2 weeks ;-;

    ReplyDelete
  4. BOBBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome episode. I should have known there would be a cliffhanger since theres no new episode next week. This may just make me lose it until the new episode

    ReplyDelete
  5. ;-; Noooooo don't say that! Bobby can't be!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Yeah great episode.  Bobby better be ok.  The boys can't lose someone else that is important to them.  They have lost too much already.  Though that photo shop job was some of the worst I have ever seen.  I think they could have done a lot better with that.

  7. Wow... what a nice present after last week's debacle of an episode. This one was great, from start to heart attack ending. It felt like old time Supernatural.

I'll start with Dean. He cracked me up, it was just classic Dean, ok, stoned Dean but it was great. We had both sides of Dean too. First the 'Whoa is me, I don't want to live' to the funny as hell Dean. It had me smiling.

Sam, ok I get the feeling Sera and the crew just don't know who Sam is anymore. As a friend on a board said, it's like they don't know how to make him normal. He was pretty normal tonight but he still doesn't feel like the 'old Sam'. Maybe that's just me. I did like his talk with Bobby though. Lucy is still in the building.

And the ending... dang.... Bobby WILL NOT DIE! You have been warned Sera. Kill Bobby and I will hunt you down. I am curious where the are going to take this. God I hope this isn't one more brick falling out of Dean's unstable mind. Yes Dean, not Sam. Sam is dealing with all the crap, Dean isn't.

Cudos to the rebound from last week. This one was great.

Oh and you had to love the 'Rise of Dick'.... Classic! :)

  8. Tremendous episode!  Loved it!

  9. Whew...ok, deep breath! That was a wild ride. SO much better than last week. Some great lines...Bobby's whole "You don't shoot Bambi, jackass, you shoot Bambi's mother" was classic. I'm glad that Bobby read Dean the riot act yet again. I have to say, I am not loving this whole "suicidal Dean" thing. How much can they possibly pick his character apart? Ok, we get it already! That aside, stoned Dean was a hoot. And "Ken doll"...that was too funny! Always knew nothing good could come from turducken! Of course, Sam had his moment too...better to have all the crazy in one place? Um yeah, there's definitely more to come for Sam too. As Bobby said..."You were always one deep little son of a bitch!" I liked how they brought in the Leviathans but I'm still not seeing where they're going with this whole thing. If they're taking over the world, then why are they so concerned about the Winchesters? Then again, given how the whole thing ended, maybe they should be. Oh, and "Rise of Dick"...classic Ben Edlund! Which brings us back to Bobby...so they left us with a cliffy, but I refuse to believe this is the end for him. There's just got to be more! Of course, this being SPN, they'll probably make us wait until after the mid-season break to find out...geeze! But bottom line...bless you, Ben Edlund, for reminding us why we love this show so much. As usual, you totally rock! I kind of wished for more Jersey Devil but that's a minor quibble. I'd definitely give this 9 out 10.

    ReplyDelete
  10. AWESOME!!!!  Ben Edlund ROCKS!!
    Stoned Dean was funny!
And Bobby - "you die before me, I'll kill ya."
    So many great one liners.
And now we have to wait TWO weeks to find out whether Bobby survives :(

    ReplyDelete
  11. Okay so Dean being high and all laid back was adorable.

But.....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
    NOT BOBBY!!!!
    :'( *sob
I seriously can't understand why they would wanna...no, just...COME ON!!!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Dean was as high as a freakin kite, it was great!! This was a really good episode! BUT THAT ENDING!!!! NOT BOBBY PLEASE!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. That was an amazing episode. The episodes with Leviathans seem to be the strongest in this season. The special sandwich idea was actually kind of scary...did they even stop production of it?

Bobby can't die. Not a chance. Nuh uh.

I wished for a bit more jersey devil...speaking of which, if the people that ae the sandwichs are just human, why didnt the first bullet kill them?

Love Dick, especially the little video segment "The rise of Dick".

    9.5 out of 10.

  14. OH GOD NO BOBBY! well that really sucks the ep was great tonight some stuff was funny but I hate the poor me act dean is doing come on I am sick of by now and he was funny high that was great and yes I am still I WTF about sam he is ok and fine this all of the stuff thats going on in his head really? please something is going to happen by the end of the season I can feel it. I so can't wait for dec2 to see what happen and then I month now thats going to suck.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Glad someone else was missing the Jersey Devil!   That was kind of a letdown, but I'll forgive since the rest was so awesome.

As for the first gunshot...I don't think they were technically completely human by then...they were full of Levi-goo, afterall.  It was kind of a zombie type thing going on.  At least that's the way I saw it.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Fantastic ep and since I rehab and release orphaned baby squirrels I loved the line about a squirrel in a skirt.  Need to go back and watch several more times, once with CC on.

Noticed Sam is still working on that bad hand.  Hate Sam's hair this season, or is that just me being picky?

When Bobby said what he did about Dean dying before he did, I though uh oh, this is not good.  Please the guys have lost enough this season and I have lost Castiel, don't want to lose Bobby also.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It was everything I hoped for and more, but oh my word.  Bobby???  The boys won't survive it.  Dean  most certainly won't.  He's at the end of his rope right now.

    ReplyDelete
  18. All I remember is Sera saying the boys had to be on the run with no one to lean on.   But Bobby has been there since the beginning.  He's all they have left.  No.  Not Bobby.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Crowley is going to swoop in and save Bobby.  He wants the Leviathan's gone as much as the boys do.

    You watch....CROWLEY

NOW THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! After the crappy performance from last weeks episode this episode definitly was a whole lot better. I was cracking up so much during this episode, the story and leviathan parts were fun and bobby got shot! I really doubt they would kill him off (cas kind of kill not like crowley or someone who comes back from the dead alot)! We just lost cas, the impala and now we cant lose bobby! its too much! Luckily i think nexts weeks episode should be fun considering its called death's door. Maybe our favorite dead guy, Death, will return?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Being Supernatural, it may have just been intentional.  You never know with them.

    ReplyDelete
  22. SmallvilleSupernaturalCastleNovember 19, 2011 at 3:57 AM

i dont want him dead either buts it not really a "bad thing" lol dead people come back all the time =) its like a once a month tradition for the winchesters to hang out with dead people lol.

    ReplyDelete
  23. A thought just popped into my head.

Crowley saves Bobby. We know he wants the Leviathan's gone. We know you don't "shake off" a bullet to the brain.

Why not?  I'm thinking it's getting renewed anyway since 3 or 4 CW shows are tanking.

    ReplyDelete
  24. SmallvilleSupernaturalCastleNovember 19, 2011 at 4:00 AM

did anyone other than me think of it in the beginning as Wendigo: 2.0! It definitly felt like the old supernatural where they saved a town instead of the world. Im not saying there doing bad with not going back to the old ways buts its never AND I MEAN NEVER a bad thing to return to the roots of anything.

    ReplyDelete
  25. SmallvilleSupernaturalCastleNovember 19, 2011 at 4:02 AM

LOL i was liking the jersey devil story to but i gotta give the writer cudos and congratz because it totally escaped my mind that they had at first thought it was that. Right after we saw the liquid sandwich (and i cryed of laughter when dean talked about puking! anyone else? yes? no?) i totally forgot about it.

    ReplyDelete
  26. SmallvilleSupernaturalCastleNovember 19, 2011 at 4:04 AM

hey crowlet does deals right? the reason for the devil's end was basically partially due to crowleys help but it only worked because someone (bobby) made a deal with him. If they deal with crowley , bobby's life for something i bet it will be something bad....again..

    ReplyDelete
  27. We ought to be used to it by now.  At least we are getting a return on the 6th in stead the end of the month and then losing our time slot so they prove VPD and Nikita are better shows.  Naaah..  Give me SPN any day.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Definitely felt like "Wendigo Redux", and no that's not a bad thing at all!

    ReplyDelete
  29. That's what I thought...another deal with Death?  Or maybe Crowley as others  have suggested.

    ReplyDelete
  30. No, you are definitely not being picky...Sam's hair is terrible this season!   God, what is the hair stylist on this show thinking?

    ReplyDelete
  31. This may be the first Edlund episode I didn't like. The hunting in the woods part was fun, but it tanked when the Levis arrived. They have to be the most boring villans SPN has ever come up with. Sam looked like the third wheel. I kept thinking he's officially become a supporting character, the one who walks a little behind, doesn't have a developed personality, and gets lines like "look over there." I completely did not buy what he was saying about being ok with Lucifer in his head. If this is really what they're going with, then this all makes no sense. No one is that well adjusted. Come on, give him some anger or something. Some kind of reaction. This is one of the reasons I appreciate Dabb and Loflin. They're some of the few writers left who are still writing Sam like a person. The Bobby ending was easy to see coming if you read the spoilers about next episode being titled "death's door" and many of Bobby's dead friends making appearances.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yep. A little more added stress for the second half of the season.  Who knows? Maybe they have to make a choice:

One of the boys makes a deal or they let Bobby go and try to kill the Leviathans.

    Lots of possibilities.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The picture of Dick with the gun reminded me of the Lee Harvey Oswald photo of him with a rifle and his head at a funny angle and his body tilting the wrong way.

It had to be intentional.  The Rise of Dick??? Yep.  They came to work with their funny shoes on.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Awesome episode.  I was a bit unhappy that the Jersey Devil story was such a sidelined plot but everything else in the episode made up for it.  I loved the one-liners and overall humor.  It had loads of action, advancement in the mytharc and one heck of an ending.  Bobby is NOT going to die, so I am free to vote awesome since there is no epic choice.  All in all, a fabulous episode.

    ReplyDelete
  35. So you considered turning Sam into a punch line last week "writing him like a person"?  Sorry, I'm not seeing it.   I do agree, though, that it seems like they don't know how to write Sam anymore...as if they can't figure out how to have him acting now that the wall has broken and that's just as frustrating as the whole "woe is me" approach with Dean.  I just wish they'd let up on both guys a little and get back to the Winchester brothers we know and love.

    ReplyDelete
  36. That was more like it!! Loved everything about this one. The shout out to Dean's favorite restaurant, BIGgerson's. (I wonder if they still get free food?) I was looking forward to an ep about the Jersey Devil, but it was a great twist having the Leviathons involved. I was actually okay with it not being the Devil because it's nice to have some of those legends turn out to not be true. Id kind of hate for them to run into Big Foot or the Loch Ness monster, too. The Leviathon trying to make the population docile is a move I can see them making. It would certainly make dinner time easier for them. I'm not sure what their ultimat plan is, but Bobby seemed disturbed by what he saw, so I'm intrigued. Of course it was Dean who tried the Turducken burger. Roofied Dean is a funny Dean. He looked sooo relaxed. It's too bad he can't stay that way, but Bobby is right. He's a hunter. He doesn't get to be a normal person. Too bad. It looked good on him.

Loved Bobby shrinking both boys. Yeah, they're messed up, but they're still kicking, so at least give them credit for that. I was happy to see Bobby look a little taken aback about Sam being so together. I'm not really buying it either. And I'm wondering why they all think Dean is so -- for lack of a better word -- suicidal. It seems to me he's depressed, untrusting and all around sick of their predicament, but like he said, he's still there working the case, so what do they want from him? I'm surprised either of the Winchesters are still walking, talking, functioning human beings to begin with.

Now to the real matter at heand... Bobby!!!!!  Noooooo!!!! After telling Dean he'd better not die before him, I was pretty sure something bad was gonna happen. But shot in the head? That certainly explain's the title of the next ep "Death's Door". And now we have to wait two weeks to find out what fate (or Death himself) has in store for our favorite father figure. That's just plain mean.

If I had any gripes, it was with the art department. Those photoshopped pictures of 'Dick' with other public figures were horrendous. But I was so busy laughing at the "rise of Dick' tag line, that I will forgive  them this time. Wonderful job by Edlund and I'm so glad there are still some writers who understand what Supernatural is supposed to be.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Sam and Dean are both turned into punchlines all of the time. It's just the show's style of comedy, so no, that didn't bother me. At least last week Sam was allowed to get angry at Becky.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Got a feeling Crowley is gonna save the day.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Ok, so Sam got angry...maybe he was a little more Sam-like last week but that doesn't get Dabb and Loflin off the hook for that piece of crap episode.  They need to take lessons from Bed Edlund when it comes to writing!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Love the Roofied Dean nick name.  Brilliant!  I thought Death also but he already coughed up an eclipse for the boys so I don't know how much more intervening he'll do.  My money is on Crowley.

I gotta think the bad photoshopping was intentional. With The Rise of Dick tag line, why not?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Too many jokes from that one.  Makes it fun to be twelve years old again!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Could you imagine a quick glimpse of Tessa in the previews?

    ReplyDelete
  43. I usually love Edlund's episodes, and the Cas one at the end is one of my favorite's of the series, but Edlund doesn't seem to like writing for Sam. The only episode last season where Sam was written well was Unforgiven, and that was a Dabb And Loflin ep. The Kripke finale moved Sam's storyline forward, but it wasn't really psychological. The Amy ep was problematic because of the ending, but the interactions between Sam and Amy were refreshing. It was nice to see Sam care personally about someone other than his brother for a change.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I thought maybe it was intentional at first, too. But then I couldn't figure out why other than to get a laugh. It kind of made it seem a bit too meta for this ep. Took me out of the moment cuz it was sooo bad. But that's just a small nitpick for such an awesome episode. I can be forgiving. :) I liked Roofie Dean. He smiled a lot. :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. I was kind of glad it wasn't the Jersey Devil. Although that would be an awesome hunt, I'm happy to see some legends remain just legends. Not all mythological monsters should be real.

    ReplyDelete
  46. It was refreshing to see Dean relaxed and smiling.  Similar to Sam smiling last episode, but without the annoying Becky aftertaste.  I live for the day when an episode shows Dean and Sam both smiling at least 10 times in one episode and sharing a good belly laugh together.

    ReplyDelete
  47. It didn't need to end up the Jersey Devil for me.  I was just looking forward to a good old-fashioned, deep int eh woods monster hunt and I felt a bit jipped that it ended so quickly.  However, everything else that came afterwards made up for it in spades.  I can wait for a true monster hunt until later if there is going to be such richness on my screen as tonight gave us.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Every episode the hair bothers me. I don't usually pay attention to hair. Not really at all. But Sam is looking ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  49. That would be nice, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Seems like things are gonna get worse (again) before they ever get better. But I hold out hope for the belly laugh. I think the entire fandom would laugh right along with them. :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. If only Edlund could write 'em all, huh? :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Not to mention "The Rise of Dick."  CNN is shaking their collective heads. :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. wow!!, I definitively watched a different episode, I found it really tedious and cheap, the only part I really enjoy was the very end, and contrary to you all, I think it's time for Bobby to die, it's been too much of uncle Bobby already, for me.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Amazing!!  I loved the whole episode!  I'm worried about Bobby, but I don't think they'll take him away since we've already lost Cas this season.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I was going to wait until I finished watching to post anything…and then the camera pans over something called a…

Pepperjack Terducken Slammer sandwich.  ????  WHAT???

Please please please let this not be a real dish anywhere.  :-D  (and yes, I've had turducken.  Wasn't bad…but not worth the hoopla imho.)

why do I get the the feeling this is going to mean something by the time we get to the end of this ep?  I know why…it's slathered all over Dean's face.  It's gotta be a story point. :-)

Why is Bobby the only person carrying supplies?  Does Dean have M&Ms again?

These are some weird people.  Ranger Evans in particular.   Do these guys have to take a test to get the...guess it doesn't matter now.  Buy Chief Ranger Evans.

I really really don't want to be out in the woods listening to an animal big enough to take a man...CHEW.  Truth be told I don't want to be out in the woods.

ARE THESE PEOPLE DOING A HOME GROWN AUTOPSY!?!?!?!

    I. DID. NOT. FREAKING. EXPECT THAT.  OH, that wasn't Ranger Rick that fell out of the tree..and that they carried back to the cabin.  See, I told you...nothing good can come of a pepperjack terducken slammer.  Dean is acting a little too weird.  ...yup.. home grown autopsy. urgh!  "That's fresh Rick."  That's gotta be...I have never been grossed out by a Supernatural ep before.....oh..gross!

And Dean's enjoying his second slammer.  And Sam just twigged to the weird.

    It's Jersey Devil Factory!  LOL.

"I think you pissed off my sandwich."

OKAY IT'S OFFICIAL THIS IS THE GROSSEST EPISODE OF SUPERNATURAL EVER!  It's a good thing that Dean doesn't care that he doesn't care that his sandwich is oozing melted blackish icing.

And a Snufalufagus shout out!  I am a happy camper.

What percent of the Supernatural population is looking at the phrase "The Rise of Dick" and chuckling.

    I hate Dick.  (Great actor...:-)

"You're bibbing me?"  that is hands down the scariest threat ever.  LOL. NO! NO! HE'S gonna...ugh!  ugh!   Uh oh.  Whoops.  Bobby's in trouble.

So they really cannot kill these guys.  The only way to make them go away is for them to eat themselves?  I am not seeing the loop hole to get the boys out of the season on top.

Loved Bobby's riot act to Dean.

    And right after seeing a guy eat himself is the wrong time for my CW channel to display an ad at the bottom of the screen for El Pollo Loco that says "Hand-Made Food Meet Hand-Made Fire"  {We need a way for the audience for force the networks to stop doing those intrusive crawling ads. }

Bobby is freaking AWESOME.  Straight to the information. uh oh...Tell me Bobby didn't get hit.  And I will kill whoever decided to cut the episode at that point.

Liked the ep.  Sounds like next ep we'll find out what the Leviathan master plan is.  Thanksgiving is almost here and the thought of a turkey sandwich is giving me the shivers. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  55. I really liked the episode, but was letdown that it came back to the leviathans. Well I realize that they are the big bads this season I kind of feel like I'm on leviathan overdose. I know that they are running around trying to take over the world or destroy it, but it would nice to get more episodes in between where we get a monster of the week.

I realize that we have limited episodes in the season and they want to get as much out of the leviathan storyline as possible, but I would have liked to have seen a true jersey devil case or more cases that involve urban legends, ghosts, demons, or whatever. I think that the leviathan episodes should compromise about 1/3 of the episodes, but I have a feeling that they are going to take up over 1/2 the episodes. It wouldn't be so bad if the episodes weren't so redundant, but they're starting to feel recycled.

This one was better with the burgers, but in general it seems like the boys and Bobby don't know how to kill the leviathans, the leviathans hunt them down some way, and the boys escape (although Bobby did get hurt this time). However if they're going to so many episodes they need to start exploring some new avenues like how the leviathans were created, why they got sent to purgatory, actually figure out a way to kill them, start developing a solid plan to fight and defeat them.

And it'd be nice if they balanced it a little better. Yeah Sam and Dean are facing them and they are a huge problem, but there are days that they don't know where they are or what the leviathans plans are, so that could be when they could do a monster of the week episode so they don't put everybody on overload.

Anyway those are just my opinions. Anyway else agree or disagree?

    ReplyDelete
  56. The Leviathan episodes have been great so far. I like them.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Wendigo meets the Pestilence ep....

    ReplyDelete
  58. They don't want people to believe monsters exist. And they got all of Castiel memories so they know that the boys saved the world. They are not stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  59. If Crowley helps the boys personally then Dick is going to wipe all the demons.
And i don't see the boys making a deal.

They maybe will try to contact Death or something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  60. we already have many monsters of the weeks.

    3,4,5,7,8.

In last seasons all the monsters were connected to the alphas and all that.

    ReplyDelete
  61. BAD photoshopping but I loved this episode...

    ReplyDelete
  62. Yeah you're right about God creating them (I had forgot about that).

And while episode 3 did have a monster of the week, it had a ton of leviathan stuff in it.

I don't know, maybe part of my bias comes from the fact that for me half of the monster of the week episodes have been hits while the other half have been misses.

And so far I just get the feeling that the leviathan mythology won't deliver as amazing twists and turns as the yellow eyed demon or the boys selling their souls (but who knows-I'm in this for the long haul and the show could turn around and stun me).

    ReplyDelete
  63. Lol, I had the same exact thought when they were showing the pictures of Dick. I kept thinking, jeez could they do a more fake job (I could do a better job and I'm an amateur).

    ReplyDelete
  64. Loved the episode!Although, big mistake eating my breakfast while watching it..
It's great how they always start it with a simple hunt and they end up involving the Leviathans.Wonder if we'll finally find out their master plan in the next episode.

The one liners were epic.Except the one about Bambi's mother..I'll never be able to get over that!  : p

The ending was CRUEL!And two weeks?!?!?Bobby won't die,I'm pretty sure, but still...And they ruined his hat. They're messing with the classics big time this season.Bobby's house, the Impala and now this?!
But,I'm willing to let it go..Come on,writers.Save Bobby, bring back Cas and we're even!

I want the next episode so bad,but it's the mid season finale..This cliffhanger seems bad now, just imagine what we're in for..!

    ReplyDelete
  65. How come the CW is promoting hart of dixie and secret circle as people's choice nominees for favorite new drama. But yet Supernatural is a nominee for favorite drama and no mention of that. Now granted there was no mention of ringer (favorite new drama) and vampire diaries (favorite drama) but wouldn't you want to promote every show that was nominated? Even if it was a 10 second mention after the episode.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Oh yes, if he had not been high he would have puked..and I thought finally we get back to the Levis, then it seemed to go off on a different trail.  I do love a show that keeps me confused(really not that hard to do) ;))

    ReplyDelete
  67. This episode ...... Awesome!!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Good comment and just be glad this is not TVD, we have to wait until Jan for them to come back, so 2 weeks is OK by me.

I was glad to see Sam still working with the hurt hand to help keep him away from Lucifer. I like when the writers don't forget little details like that.

And I can totally understand Dean and his why bother with all this thinking, and when he was saying all that stuff I tried to put myself in his shoes and that sucked. lol This load that is on these  guys shoulders would just make me want to find a hole and crawl in.

    ReplyDelete
  69. My opinion Bobby will be fine............knock knock come in ohhhhhhhhhhhh it's his sheriff lady love.......she will take care of Bobby.........he will need her and finally have to give in.... so I don't believe that he will die...but he will be sidelined with a strong gun toting woman that will nurse him back to health emotionally and physically. That's my belief ...........ok writers you have your assignment ....make it happen.......DO NOT KILL BOBBY ........................AND STOP MESSING WITH THESE BOYS!!!
On order one large vat of BORAX and let's dispose of these leviathan and be done with it! I want hunting, researching, eating, laughing , funny faces, vamps, legends, mummies, mythos an occasional visit by Crowley.........and yes Cas too! ............and to HELL with all these back stories that suck the life out of our great show. YED is over Apocalpse is over c'mon now! I want Sam and Dean on the road in BABY and when they call on Bobby for some help he is sitting down to dinner with Jody..........new story every week after all there is soooooooooo many more tales to tell........stop writing yourselves in a corner for crying out loud......okay queue the music "Back in Black" ACDC of course.............let's go Winchesters! Next stop............................the Supernatural Zone!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think Jared has the best smile of anyone on TV and like you, would like to see at least one ep with just good brother laughs and fun. And NO I don't have a favorite brother, am Team Winchester and Angel Cas. lol

    ReplyDelete
  71. I would love to see Death again, he is one of my favorite characters, but he did tell them not to come calling again.  I go with Crowley for the deal, since he wants them to take the Levis down.

  72. I kinda don't like the Leviathans as a main baddie. Especially after last night with the experiments and stuff, I feel like we've already been there and done that (demons manufacturing virus's and Eve making her own monsters).

    ReplyDelete
  73. SPN & TVD are up for 2, Drama and Scifi, hated that Jensen and Jared were not on the actor list, but Ian is.  I love Ian, but NO ONE does tears, pain & torment as well as Jensen.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I'm not a fan of the Leviathans either. But hey, here's hoping the show surprises me haha,

    ReplyDelete
  75. Loved every minute of is as usual. Please do not let Bobby die! Talk about keeping us in suspense for 2 weeks! The boys could not survive without him and I am not sure if we can either. I think the Leviathan storyline is getting more interesting as the weeks pass by. I say this only because, after last night, we learned more about who is really in charge of them. But, if silver bullets and cleaning fluid won't kill the big bad boy, what will work??

    ReplyDelete
  76. When Ben Edlund or Sera Gamble write an episode teamed up with someone like Guy Bee directing, you can really tell a difference in the quality of the show.  There's no comparison.  Wonderful episode!

    ReplyDelete
  77. I think the problem with the Leviathan is opposite than having too much of them - it's that the writers really haven't written much suspense around them yet.  Sam and Dean seem to forget about them when the Leviathan are not in their face.  I wish they were more more interesting.  I seem to remember reading in interviews that they were going to be michieveous.  What happened?  How about making them seem a little ancient? Instead we have just another bad guy in the form of a businss leader who wants world domination.

On the monsters, instead of witches and ghosts, I wish they were building on last season.  Eve had several weeks unaccounted for when she was creating who knows what.  Her body is still laying eggs hatching into who knows what.  The monsters like vamps and shapeshifters increased their numbers and got organized.  How about seeing some monster payback for killing Eve?

  78. I want to hunt down his hair dresser. Has she ever heard of shampoo????

    ReplyDelete
  79. I hope they don't do another deal with Death or Crowley. It's been done already and it doesn't need to be done again. I'm thinking it's time they stopped being immortal. NO, not that I want Bobby to die. I want and think he will live but I'm tired of the 'we can just make a deal' mentality.

  80. "And now we have to wait two weeks to find out what fate (or Death himself) has in store for our favorite father figure."

What does John have to do with this?

    ReplyDelete
  81. I actually loved this episode. It's the first episode this season that I truly loved. I've liked a lot of S7 episodes, but I haven't loved any of them. So, good job Ben Edlund.

    ReplyDelete
  82. maybe Dean can work a deal with Death directly. maybe.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I thought it was pretty great overall - Dean being high on the burgers was absolutely hilarious, and there were a lot of great one-liners.. but they can't take Bobby away from us too, can they?!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Death is all about the natural order and he thinks the Leviathan are "fun."  I'm betting the opposite is true.  Dean does something that violates the natural order and Death isn't happy.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I was surprised by how little the Jersey Devil figured in, too.. it was slightly disappointing, but I wasn't complaining overall!

    ReplyDelete
  86. I liked this episode a lot. Stoned!Dean's my new favorite. ;) There were also mentions of Cas... Yay for those. A Ben Edlund quality episode. AND Bobby better be alive!

    ReplyDelete
  87. I thought about Death first but I thought the summoning would be too hard to pull off and he's already screwed with nature once for them this season.

Right now there have to be substantially more demons than Leviathans. They are too smart to turn away from the boys. The boys know how to kill them. The demons do not.

    ReplyDelete
  88. That was the worst "Supernatural" episode ever...and that comparison includes the Season 1 MOTW shows. It started off as one thing, let that thing just fade away, became something else, and ended up something else yet again. None of the three stories was told with any real detail or any episodic conclusion. This was the worst, guys. I sure hope the mid-season finale is a lot better than this.

    ReplyDelete
  89. so bad.. and someone needs to take another look at his sideburns.. I think they have a mind of their own..

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm always happy for more Crowley, but it's rough having to owe him!

  91. I laughed SO hard at that one haha.. high Dean had so many great lines this episode.. Bobby did as well  :)

  94. As soon as I saw the the Turducken, I knew no good could come of it, especially when he was the only one eating it. When Dean likes a particular food, you just know something bad is going to happen.

    ReplyDelete
  95. That makes sense. Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thoroughly enjoyed this epsiode!! much better than last weeks becky-happy episode, ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  97. i can't wait to see the next episode. hope bobby will pull through.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I disagree with that. Ian's pretty good, but I think Jared does it pretty damn well too when given the actual chance to show us that his character is hurting... Not even in just Supernatural either. Watch Christmas Cottage. You wanna see tears and pain? Watch his scene in the barn with Glen on Christmas Eve and you'll see what I mean.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I'd just like to say that I've had a theory for a while now that Biggersons is an omen of death. (You can see it in the forums here). This episde has reinforced it so much more.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I think she meant Bobby, who practically replaced John as Sam and Deans father.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Thank you, Pigeon666.  :)

    ReplyDelete
  102. Thanks I will look up Christmas Cottage, but loved his emotion when killing his werewolf girlfriend.  It just seems that Jensen can work up tears at the drop of a hat. lol  Dean has many more scenes that require tears.

    ReplyDelete
  103. OK got it on my netflix list.

    ReplyDelete
  104. The only time he has ever really been allowed to have truly emotional scenes are when he killed Madison and when Dean died at the end of Season 3, but Jared is much the same as Jensen. I've heard him talk about this more than once. Jared is a pretty emotional person. If something affects him in a profound way be it a scene or even reading a book before going on set, it doesn't take much for him to work up the tears either. It's just, we haven't seen the writers actually give anything like this to Sam in a very long time.

To be honest? I am beyond sick of Dean's emo... and Dean's crying and Dean's weepy boohoo, woe is me scenes. I've just about had it with them. I'm to the point where I feel no sympathy for him anymore because he's so caught up in feeling sorry for himself and thinking his brother is crazy instead of actually worrying for Sam that I have no empathetic feelings for Dean anymore. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's true... =/ I love Dean, but I don't love this crap.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I loved it. Unlike last week's episode, this episode was actually funny (and scary). Ben Edlund for president!!!

    ReplyDelete
  106. Demons wanted apocalypse, Eve wanted to turn all humanity.

This guys are more into world domination stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I don't feel this way about Dean at all, his dad did a number on him as far as taking care of Sammy, so he is worried about him and helping save "the world".  I think he has every reason to feel sorry for his life..but that is just me.  Guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one.  I do wish the writers would do two things for Sam, FIX HIS HAIR and get his story moving.  Team Winchester all the way.

    ReplyDelete
  108. yeah, hopefully we won't have to deal with her for a VERY long time.. never would be ideal, really

    ReplyDelete
  109. Sorry this wasn't even the worst of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I've been reading that CW ran promos congratulating vampire diaries, secret circle, hart of dixie and ringer for their peoples choice nomination. Now I saw the secret circle and hart of dixie but missed the two others.

Yet Supernatural is nominated in 2 categories doesn't even get a mention during it's own show.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Their dad did a number on both of them. Why does it always have to be poor Dean this and poor Dean that? What about Sam? Sam jumped into Hell and spent almost 200 years in the cage getting raped and ripped apart by Lucifer and he's just fine with it? Sam seems so Zen about his current situation, sure, but Dean is just hellbent on calling Sam and crazy while sitting around feeling sorry for him and all his guilt while Sam shoves his issues onto the backburner for Dean once again while Dean remains oblivious because he's too busy throwing himself a pity party.

Sam sits and worries for Dean and we get sole focus on Dean and Dean's issues... yet again... if he has every reason to feel sorry for his life, then so does Sam and the way Sam is being treated here by the writers is completely and totally unfair. As for his hair? It's fine. Jared loves wearing his hair long. He's expressed this many times before. As for his story? That I will agree with you. Get it moving instead of just having Sam there for the sole purpose of being Dean's story prop.

    ReplyDelete
  112. "As for his hair? It's fine. Jared loves wearing his hair long. He's expressed this many times before" Jared can wear his hair however he wants when he's on his own time, but Sam's hair should be attractive and styled to be consistent with his character.  I think the more conservative trimmed hair of seasons 2-4 fit Sam better than the rock star look.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I thought of Death too but at this point in time, I think he'd be less likely to help them than Crowley would.  If they don't stop the Leviathans, Dick has already promised he'll be coming after the demons next.  Crowley will do anything to save his own ass.  I wouldn't put it past him at all.   And the boys will do whatever it takes to save Bobby...he's family.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Good point, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Crowley having a hand in things somehow.  His ass is on the line here too and he knows it.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I'm sorry, but we're not getting "sole focus" on Dean.   I think both brothers have been treated evenly throughout the run of the show.

I will admit that the writers have dropped the ball big time this season as far as writing the characters...but BOTH of them, not just Sam.  It's like they don't know what to do with the guys anymore, how to write them as this new, more mature version of Sam and Dean.  Part oif me just wishes they'd step back and let Jared and Jensen run with it...I have a feeling they could handle it better than the writers at this point.

But really, the bitching about Sam's treatment after EVERY episode this season is getting a little old.   Dean's being turned into nothing more than a sad sack who has crawled into a bottle so how is he getting treated any better?

Oh and, sorry, but Sam's hair sucks!  I loved it in Season One...I'm a fan of the bangs...and Season Two was ok, but otherwise, it's looked terrible.  Last season wasn't bad but this season they're right back to the greasy, stringy look...AWFUL!

    ReplyDelete
  116. Hell yes...please send this post straight to Sera!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  117. A tiny quibble, but...Dean was wearing a pack when they were walking through the woods too.  Sam was the only one who was toting nothing but a weapon.   Nothing like havig the biggest, strongest guy carry nothing but his gun! :D

    ReplyDelete
  118. Edlund is not a character based writer, he's more an action/comedy type.  Deep, character driven stuff is not his forte, so I wasn't expecting it from him.  That's why I was kind of disappointed when this wasn't more of a straight, monster of the week type episode, which is what I expected from Edlund.

That being said, he actually saved his biggest character moments for Bobby last night.  He's the one who was most clearly written and had the big emo moments with both brothers and a good bit of the action too.  All of which worries me because I hope that wasn't done intentionally as some kind of "swan song" type thing.

I really don't think Ben Edlund has a bias toward either brother, if he has any kind of bias its toward the monsters! :D

    ReplyDelete
  119. No it wasn't...that would be last week's crapfest! :p

    ReplyDelete
  120. You absolutely called that one, Pigeon...you rock! :D

  121. Let's be honest here, we all have certain issues that bother us more than others, and certain people from all sides have been vocal.  Cas fans have been complaining since the end of last season about Cas being written off.  Sam fans have been complaining about his POV and Hell story buried again. Dean fans have been complaining nonstop since episode 3 about "the writing" (which is code for saying they hate the way Dean is being written).  You're entitled to your opinion that both bothers have been treated equally, but it's not an opinion that everyone shares, and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  122. That's your opinion "Deangirl" not mine. There's no need to come at me with a snarky attitude. But I'll be honest with you and tell you I'm getting a little tired of the "Deangirls" whining and harping on about poor Dean and how he gets no story or love or attention from Sera or the writers which is utter bull. But that's my opinion, which differs from yours and so we'll have to agree to disagree and not discuss it because I'm in no mood to fight with you. And you can say Sam's hair sucks as much as you want. I really don't care. Stop trying to bait me. It's annoying.

    ReplyDelete
  123. I don't think she was implying that Dean gets no love or attention, in fact she never once said anything, she was talking about the brothers. I also didnt think she was fighting with you.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I dont know what Sam is on the show ? his issues/suffering and very thoughts seem to be the least of the importance on the show. He is in danger of becoming to one dimensional if the writers dont get it sorted. I appreciated Dean has been through alot but so has Sam and if one brothers pain matters then so should the other brothers pain.I thought the talk between Bobby and Sam was sweet but  iit was more about Dean than Sam .
All in all not bad episode.

    ReplyDelete
  125. That is the joke.  it is a veiled shot at cheesy politicians.  Made him look like he's on the front of the Weekly World News or the Enquirer.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I like long hair, but dang, it looks like it has not been washed in forever.  Liked the look Sam had when it in his eyes and not stringy, limp and unwashed looking.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Go back and read anything I've posted and you'll find, despite the handle I use, I'm not one of those who constantly harps on the way Dean's been treated.   I think there have been problems woith the way BOTH brothers have been treated lately.   I think the whining on EITHER side is misplaced, that's all I'm trying to say.

    ReplyDelete
  128. A deal for your soul.

Death is not going to help them with this, remember appointment in samarra?
Crowley only for a winchester soul

    ReplyDelete
  129. I agree and talk between Bobby and Sam was sweet but beyond pressing his hand and saying that his Lucifer!Visions were bad but he was managing and other people (like Dean?) had worse troubles, I thought "we" were promised more of "all things Sam" in either "the second half of the season" or after "Dean's arc". So far I only see a truly Zen-like Sam who has been managing memories 180+ years of soul!rape and soul!torture exceptionally well.

What more is to show about "Sam's story"? :((

I would have liked the show to have had one short scene in ep 7.07 or 7.08  - with Sam alone - that proved he was not as "okey-dokey" with his Cage memories as he purports to be and not just Levia!Sam saying Sam's mind was really, really bad, when that's essentially what Sam told Bobby.

    ReplyDelete
  130. The boys can live without Bobby but I *doubt* that Bobby will die in 7.10; I think it's more likely that Bobby will be in coma (off screen) for at least the next several episodes. That way the boys will still have hope and when Bobby "wakes up" he can tell the boys about the maps and plans that he saw. (I could be waaaayyyy wrong, and Bobby dies at the end of 7.10 - however there's supposed to be Reaper in 7.10 and Reapers have the power to heal if they are ordered to).

The head Levi Dick Roman does seem to recover faster from the dousing but the boys didn't carry any machetes to behead him (or the other Levis they doused with cleaning solution) - and the trick seems to be you have to behead a Levi after you burn its body with the solution and separate the head and body parts. And we still don't have absolute proof that "this works" either, long term. The "dead levis" (Chet and Levia!Sam and Dean) could grow new heads for all we know.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Crowley sticking his nose in would make it a real "Deal with the Devil".  You know how much Crowley wants Sam off his ass because he's always trying to kill him.

I just think it would be interesting; Bobby's life for Sam's soul.  Sam may actually want to ditch it with all that has been going on.

The promo would have been great to have Dean steal a look at the person who brushed by him in the ER and see Tessa glancing back.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Well, that thing about shooting Bambi's mother instead of Bambi, in my second viewing it sounded like: "You don't shoot the Winchesters, you shoot their 'father'."

So, I'm afraid it was a message to us straight from the writers, foreshadowing the end of the eisode.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Never said they weren't, just stating my own opinion.  That's one of the marks of the quality of this show, that it sparks all sorts of different viewpoints, some more passionate than others...another mark of good writing! ;)

  134. You'll get more, never fear...I seriously doubt we've seen the last of the hallucinations, no matter how  "fine" Sam claims to be.

  135. we are going to have more... we don't know when. Maybe he starts seeing other things AKA michael.

    ReplyDelete
  136. It was really great. First time in a long time I didn't know what the monster was (at first anyway, but I guessed about halfway through it was the sandwiches...the Leviathans did surprise me though.) Loved high!Dean, and Bobby having a moment (a minor one, but still!) with Sam. Very rare. And then he gets one with Dean too. Yaay!

I was a little confused by the whole laying low thing...they haven't exactly been doing that the last few episodes, have they? Maybe they just remembered they were supposed to be when Crowley mentioned the Leviathans.

Still no Impala... This better not be permanent! (They took away the Amulet, and Dean's jewelry -miss the ring- no more leather jacket... We need the Metallicar back!)

NO BOBBY OMG. NOOO. YOU CAN'T KILL BOBBY, YOU JUST CAN'T. I love Bobby! Haven't the boys lost enough? I mean...it's Bobby! If he dies I'll be so sad. (Granted, death isn't always permanent, but Bobby doesn't have a guarantee that if he dies he'll come back, like Sam and Dean do.) Please don't die!

    ReplyDelete
  137. Photoshop? What photoshop job?

    ReplyDelete
  138. You're missing the point here...they don't need to make a traditional deal this time.   They have the upper hand.  They can get the Leviathans off Crowley's back...all they have to do is promise to do that in exchange for letting Bobby live.

I serously hope they don't do another deal for someone's soul.  As bec said above, that has been done to death...no pun intended.  Time to move on from the formula.

    ReplyDelete
  139. It is your opinion so I will respect that, but I completely disagree with you on how much of the Leviathan storyline we've been getting.  I feel that we have not seen them enough and they're the most interesting part of this season.

Personally, I have been completely let down for the majority of this season with the motw episodes and how average or below average they have been to me.  The first 2 episodes started so unbelievably strong, then just week after week I've been actually hating the show.  I think by my count this is the 4th episode that I've been interesting in and haven't though of it as a mediocre episode.

I'm hoping that they have a lot more Leviathan episodes as they are the only things that are keeping me interested in the show now.

  140. Ok 1st off this tue night on lifetime it on see it and 2nd I like sam hair its ok with me who cares If jared likes it it fine ok. and this back and forth with sam and dean is really bad guy come on I and not a fan of dean right now with all this moody crap but thats they way they want dean right well its getting sicking but we just have to deal with it for now as for sam I am a samgirl and to see the pain he goes though everytime just so sad for me. Heart is one of my fav ep of season 2 and everytime to see sam cry like that make me cry everytime. Jared is to me a great actor to do that and he will go far after the show it done I hope and jensen too I hope maybe I have not seen any of his movies playing on tv right now OH thats right he only made 2 but they will both do great work afer the show is done heres hopeing.

  144. Thanks I have set my DVR.  I also cried with Sam in Heart, that was a hard scene for me to watch, but the worse with the most sobbing was the end of S5.  I cried with both boys, Sam for trying to fight Lucifer and Dean for the beating he was taking.

  145. Haven't liked this season so far but this episode was great.

The Leviatans make a pretty lousy big-bad if you ask me....

  146. No worries, it was hard to see...not like they made it prominent.  And yeah, I definitely agree on the M&M's...would've been a great nod to the past.  They could use a few more of those!  :)

    ReplyDelete
  147. But they have to get them off their back first. It would follow the whole "Butch and Sundance" theme if Bobby were to stay in the bed for the rest of the season.  That was no pea shooter he got shot with, And I'm far too close to bullet wounds to the head to know you don't recover quickly from them, if at all.

I'm sure I'll enjoy any remedy to the situation.  Crowley interests me.  The thought of him having one of their souls is juicy.  Even better if he would use it to double cross them. (Levis?)

Every time a loved one dies it's Castiel or Crossroads. I get that.

Maybe simple is better this time.  I just don't want to see Bobby up and around right away.

  149. Not bad at all.

     - They're really beating the "Sam is doing okay" point into the ground.  We get it.  It's not necessary to bring it up in every episode now.  It's Dean that should be the focus of concern now.
     - A great episode for Bobby.  I'm going to have to start a tally of how many angry lectures he gives the guys, especially Dean.
     - It's a little frustrating that after all these episodes, there's hardly any progress on the Leviathan problem.
     - The faux campaign commercial had the WORST photoshop I have seen on a TV show.  EVER.

  151. Okay this is just a wish post....wouldn't it be fantastic if Bobby dies but not really ......and he sees and talks to John ( the original John) and John gives some advice or says something that the bopys really need to hear...................Bobby is revived and he delivers the message and maybe thats what these boys need to carry on the fight...............and keep hunting and be brothers. Ahhh it was justa thought. It would have to be profound..............

  153. I'm not trying to "sound" like a paranoid "Sam Girl", nor take anything away from Dean's story line but "Sam Fans" have heard similar assurances from the staff or even the actors before and been burned. We don't have even a single spoiler yet that even hints that Sam is not handling his Cage memories extraordinarily well, if we're supposed to take all his conversations with Bobby & Dean at face value. I have a real fear that by the time the show does get back to Sam's Cage Time, it will either be shocking and abrupt like "Sam's drinking DB right from the tap (Ruby)" ~ ep 7.16ish - and won't feel organic because they won't have shown any build up to the "shock" or whatever's Sam's doing (if he's actively doing anything other than positive meditation) will seem "lame".

@ Luis, I'd love to have had Sam mention "Michael" (or Adam) even once but so far this season neither brother has even acknowledged they had a "baby half-bro" in the Cage. That's just weird. Maybe Adam's soul isn't even in the Cage; maybe once Adam gave his consent Michael gave Adam his "reward" and sent his soul to Heaven to be with his mother. But we know Michael is the Cage because God-stiel wanted Crowley to keep Michael in it to prevent Michael from reclaiming Heaven as defacto "Boss" in their Father's absence.

I voted OK. It wasn't because the episode itself really stunk, but because I was sort of disappointed I guess. Before the episode, the previews gave the message that the boys would be hunted, and the beast looked inhuman. I was excited to see something like that. Instead, the boys and Bobby really weren't hunted at all, they just shot the thing. They also seemed pretty calm when they saw it, did anyone else notice that? They were like, "Let's check its pockets and then dissect it!"..huh? I don't know..it sort of pulled me out of the "real" feeling. Then the Leviathan story came into play, and even though I wanted the storyline to continue, I was a bit disappointed that the forest scenes and awesome potential there would end. Then, something really strange happened...I was actually bored during the conversation between the Leviathans. I've never been bored before with Supernatural for that long..the whole feeling of potential the Leviathans seemed to give off before now feels void. It's like they're people...they're not even scary...I read a post somewhere. This person wondered why Sam and Dean even ran away from them..and I agree. They're friggen politicians... I felt absolutely no threat at all. Then the cliffhanger..I wouldn't have been bothered by it if we'd had some kind of storyline movement for either Sam or Dean, .....or the friggen story itself!!! O_O , but we had none of that, and then the cliffhanger was about Bobby? I don't really know how I feel about this, I like Bobby, but to make a cliffhanger on him? That's never happened before, it has always been for Sam or Dean or both, and there was a reason for that. Some people are worried about Bobby, but from the moment the episode ended I knew he wouldn't die -_- If the show kills him, I'll be impressed! That's what Supernatural used to do, surprise you... remember? After the episode ended, I was just completely disappointed by the turn of events in the episode, and the cliffhanger that I'm not feeling anything for...

However, I waited before I would post to get some thoughts in, and I'm starting to warm up to this cliffhanger, and I'll accept it only if I get a cliffhanger for Sam, Dean, or both next episode before the hiatus. They seem to be stuck in their storylines...Dean drinks a lot and Sam is...stuck..? Literally nothing happened to his storyline yet...
I did love Stoned!Dean though! LOL! (btw, why do we always use ! before the name like Hell!Sam and Stoned!Dean O_o?) Anyways, that's what I feel.

  155. In this last episode wasn't Dean complaining about lack of hot water and what not? Maybe that's what the whole hair thing is about.

  156. Sam is ok = Dean's Amy thing = beating a dead horse

  157. loved it just loved it !. The start was qite creepy with the thing in the trees and him hanging up side down :/ . Then loved Dean moning about where he's living , it then goes to the job as usuasl and they question people . But loved they changed it and made them in the woods and Dean bringing up the past .Then loved Dean high hahaha , and also the fact Sam is worried for Dean when it has been the other way about for god knows ! .Good bobby also tried to knock sense into Dean e.g dont be a qiter but what does dean have outside of hunting .We saw last week how easy Sam would fit into the world , Dean did not know who he was if hes not the big brorther that looks out for sam anymore where does he go what does he do ? he bascially couldn't live without sam . I honsetly think Dean will die in the final and as long as he goes down swinging am fine by it there are all these moments like season 6 and trhen there were none dean says something like when i get my something torn out were good , also he's cheated death way to much i think he should be the one to  cause , he would just drink himself to a drunk trun bitter in the future and Deans tired and just wants it over  where sam knows who to , am not saying it would be easy for him ether but you add it up .But back to the story the baddy is  A VERY GOOD BAD GUY ! when he gives you the look , its like the look of a thousdan daggers . Loved the fight sence thought when dick got blech poured over him it was very teramatior . The end was tense but i dont think bobby will die i think  Dean will do something rash , i doubt sell his soul again but he will do something . I dont know why some people could rate awuful this kicked ass and was well written i give it 9/10 .

  159. I was hoping for more of the hunters hunting... they'd played that angle up a lot proir to the episode and it lasted a couple of minutes?

  160. I think you are correct, if one of them has to die, it should be Dean, Sam is more grounded in the  "human" world.

  161. Stoned Dean, some funny lines and the heart-to-hearts made this an awesome episode. But Bobby!!? They can't kill Bobby - I would not be able to cope with that.

  162. I liked this episode, though can someone explain what the point of the experiment was? To cause massive weight gain etc for more food?

    ReplyDelete
  163. I think to make people complacent so that they won't care that their family was eaten, but yeah, the weight gain is also probably an added benefit.  Speaking of weight gain, how is Dean still so thin with his diet?  It's not like he works out.  He's in his 30s.  The calories should be starting to catch up to him about now.

  164. Ok, I was also counting on some more old-school Supernatural hunting in the woods and wendigo-style monsters, but nevertheless I really loved the episode. But I loved every single mytharc episode this season, probably because I think the Leviathans are the best Big Bads this show has introduced since... I don't know... Lilith probably. I am loving the storyline. It's fresh, unpredictable and exciting.

I LOVED stoned Dean. "I think you pissed off my sandwich" is officially added to my favourite Dean one-liners.

And Bobby better be ok. But I think he will. They just got rid of Cas, they won't do it to another major character.

I can't believe we've almost reached mid-season. I can't get enough of this season, seriously!

  165. Exactly. He was so right. They've steered the bus away from the cliff twice already and what has it gotten them? Maybe it's time to just crack open a Corona and find a beach. :) I'd join 'em.

  166. Well probably not this, but a fast metabolism does that. (ADHD is a particular example I'm familiar with :P)

  167. I mean i dont wont ether to die but supernatural is well filled with tragedy xx

  173. The last two episodes of Supernatural before the winter hiatus were Emmy quality as far as acting goes.  All three knocked it out of the ball park

  174. The new head of the CW loves Supernatural.  He said that unless the sinks in the ratings horribly, there will be a Season 8.  I believe him.  He likes the family values of the show....the brothers.

    ReplyDelete
  175. That's good to hear.  Gives the writers more time to build up toward the end. (If it is after season eight)   Maybe it will be a season of things hunting THEM.
