I see this show's losing ratings every week, but I don't care. Maybe I'll end up the last person faithfully watching, but no way I'd miss an episode of this one.
Hard to say why but it was a little step back after last week's pretty good episode. At least in my opinion. If I had to put my finger on it I'd say it's been because of a lack of Swede.
Nevertheless it was very interesting. I'm not entirely sure what to make with the McGinnes brothers, but their scene with Durant and his speach inspired by Mickey's story were nice.
I also enjoyed Elam's little story and felt sorry for him. But his line about one of the other guys who's about to go blind was one of the highlights of this episode.
Somehow it was Cullen's story I didn't quite like. He's the new foreman and the first thing he does is ride back. Then he brings Lily back and doesn't collect the bounty (I know that scene was supposed to show that his search for revenge is more important than money, but still...) and then rides off again. Shouldn't he stay around a bit as foreman and look what kind of progress has been made?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I don't know why I'm still watching this show, but I liked this episode.

ReplyDeleteGotten better every episode. That's a good pattern...
