THE TOWN OF STORYBROOKE WILL MOURN THE LOSS OF ONE OF THEIR OWN, AND THE EVIL QUEEN TRIES TO HIRE AN ASSASSIN TO MURDER SNOW WHITE, ON ABC'S "ONCE UPON A TIME"

"The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" - One of the town's residents begins to remember their fairytale past, and Storybrooke mourns the loss of one of their own. Meanwhile, in the fairytale world that was, the Evil Queen attempts to find a heartless assassin to murder Snow White, on "Once Upon a Time," SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Once Upon a Time" stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Jared Gilmore as Henry Mills, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David and Raphael Sbarge as Jiminy Cricket/Archie Hopper.

Guest starring are Jamie Dornan as Sheriff Graham, Meghan Ory as Ruby/Red, Giancarlo Esposito as Sidney/Mirror, Howard Siegel as tavern owner, Scott Heindl as Bartholomew, Tristan Jensen as Horatio and Kam Kozak as black guard.

"The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" was written by Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz and directed by Dave Barrett.

    Katherine to clear the way for Mary Margret and David? Or possibly Jimminy Cricket who finally believes Henry after all their sessions?  Ruby's Grandmother has another heart attack and Ruby takes over the diner? 

    Basically I'm guessing a character we have seen but who is not terribly important. Regina, Mr. Gold, Mary Margaret, David, Emma and Henry are safe.  Graham is a possibility but less likely and Ruby is kind of a neat character, so I'm hoping she stays.

    Certainly sounds like a Graham-centric episode... assuming he is the huntsmen or if he's the Big Bad Wolf (he is a hairy one)..

    It's probably one of the meaningless newly introduced roles like Dr. Whale or Charming's blonde consort. Someone completely irrelevant and a cheap misdirect by hyping some pivotal death when it's a non-essential role. What they call major may not meet my idea of major. It would be nice to be surprised and it turn out to be a major player though!!

    The photos for the episode seem to be Ruby and Graham -centric, making me think Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf and Grandma or The Wolf could die... even Red Riding ho herself Ruby. I would not call that loss major though. Graham would be major I guess maybe.

    Either way if it is a major player I 'm sure they will still be seen in the other world flashbacks etc so it won;t be a true death.

    I'm pretty sure, just from watching the show, that Graham's fairytale persona is the Hunstman which would also fit into the fairytale plot of this ep so he could still be in it.

    Maybe I'm wrong though. I haven't been looking too hard to figure out who everyone is.

    wow, someone's dying so soon?  and hopefully John Doe is the one who starts to regain his memory.. oooh, and Katherine could die!  is it even realistic to hope that they'd give us both at the same time? haha

    Even if he's in the cast it does not rule him out,if he dies even in the next episode they still have to credit him if he appears.

    I don't think we can rule him out just yet.

    It would be great if some one was remembering, and stayed alive of course. I read in an interview to the creators that people will start remembering slowly now that Emma is in town so... I have no idea who could it be though, considering you could assume that Regina obviously knows about the curse, and no one else does I wonder if it is Mr. Gold who will remember. Well if he's evil now... wow.
