Co-hosted by Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie, both of the TODAY Show, the star-studded 79th annual tree lighting extravaganza will feature an array of musical guests performing current hits and holiday classics from Rockefeller Center in New York City. Prior to the network special, WNBC, NBC's New York flagship station, and some other NBC stations will broadcast an additional live hour of the special (7-8PM ET). "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" is produced by Brad Lachman Productions with Lachman serving as executive producer. Bill Bracken is producer.

During the case, Harry examines the danger that football-related injuries pose to young athletes. Meanwhile, Tommy (Christopher McDonald) represents a struggling single mother who resorted to robbing a bank in order to pay her mounting bills. With Cassie’s (Karen Olivo) help, they put the government on trial by arguing a rarely used defense. Mark Valley also stars.

A Romani child disappears on his way home from school. Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Amaro (Danny Pino) interview the distraught parents, who are distrustful of the police. The initial investigation leads Fin (Ice-T) and Rollins (Kelli Giddish) to the powerful leader of the Romani community, but he denies any involvement. The family remains hopeful their boy will be found, especially when they discover his cell phone is still active. With the help of their TARU tech (guest star Gottfried) and a meddling newspaper reporter, the detectives narrow the perpetrators to a mentally challenged neighbor, throwing the tight-knit Romani community into turmoil. Also guest starring Ron Rifkin and Gavin Lee. Also starring Dann Florek (Captain Donald Cragen) and Richard Belzer (Sergeant John Munch.) 12/03/2011 (08:00PM - 11:00PM) (Saturday) : NBC again presents this exclusive and special telecast of Frank Capra's 1946 holiday classic, "It's a Wonderful Life," starring James Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore. The film follows the life of George Bailey (Stewart) from childhood to maturity in the town of Bedford Falls. On what might be his last Christmas Eve, a discouraged Bailey wants to throw his life away. Fortunately, Clarence (Henry Travers), a second-class angel, is sent to show him the value of life. After Clarence gives Bailey a view of Bedford Falls without him, Bailey realizes how precious his life is and gets a second chance. He comes to learn that Clarence was right when he said, "No man is a failure who has friends." The film, which earned Oscar nominations for best picture, director, actor and film editing, was produced and directed by Capra.
