The well-heeled, well-dressed denizens of Gossip Girl occupied Wall Street — namely, Cipriani Club 55 — on Saturday night to fete the CW series’ 100th episode, airing Jan. 30. Seeing as the landmark hour centers around Blair’s wedding to Prince Louis, the cast was on strict orders to, ironically, not gossip about what happens, so “I can’t tell you” and “I’m not allowed to say” were frequent refrains. Even so, TVLine gleaned enough teasey tidbits to paint a provocative wedding picture….
WHAT’S IN A NAME? | It took some coaxing, but executive producer Josh Safran ultimately was too excited to share with us what he called ”the perfect title” for the 100th episode: “The title is ‘G.G.,’ as in the movie Gigi” — but spelled as in the show’s monogram. Nonetheless, I point you to Gigi‘s IMDb page should anyone wish to read into that name choice.

ReplyDeleteWhere the hell did you get the idea that Leighton supports Dair from? Maybe from the all of interviews she gave saying that she thinks Blair belongs with Chuck? You want to support your ship fine, but stop making stuff up.

I kind of hate Blair and wanted to see her take a slight leave of absence (absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?). So what are they going to do with that baby? Is she going to lose it? If they go that route please don't do it ala Adrian from Secret Life.

Doesn't say she doesn't like Chuck and Blair, but she absolutelly supports Dan and Blair.I think she just has the same approach as me on the matter: Chuck and Blair used to be great but they've run their course and now the Dan/Blair dynamic seems to have better legs to stand on.
GiGi wasn't rich "Rich".... she was in the lower tier of high society. So there are definitelly parallels to her and Dan.
ReplyDeleteafter the interviews at the 100th episode i sadly have come to realize that The Chair ship has sailed and that Dair is the Future sorry Chair Fans but i strongly believe Dair is endgame :( i want Chuck & Blair to be together in the end im okay with a Dair romance as long as it leads blair back to chuck it just doesnt look like im going to get my wish after interviews at the 100th episode the 5.10 Press release i am fairly Confident that Dair is endgame which i wont be happy if this is true
ReplyDeleteand according to an article by EW they arent treating season 5 like the last season and will end on a cliffhanger BOOOOOO because we all know that this is going to be the last season of Gossip Girl due to itsd the lowest rated series in A18-49 and 3rd lowest rated in W18-34 there's maybe a 10% Chance of renewed i just wish The CW would make there decision about the shows fate soon cause we know its going to be cancelled by may 2012 even if the GG Producers don tthink so right now i want the show resolved in the ending but it will leave on a cliffhanger then get cancelled by May 2012 :(
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but if Blair runs away from her wedding to be with Dan I am done with this show. If the writers wanted to stop all hope for Chair they should have done it in season 3 and not had so many one on one scenes in between to tease us if they are just going to make Dair endgame.

ReplyDeleteIf this season really is the last one (and i believe it is) there is NO TIME FOR DAIR!! i want to see Chair back together and i want to see them as a couple for at least a few episodes .. i don´t want them to get back together in the last episode like ross and rachel ... :( i want to see them happy and together for a few episodes .. thats all i want before GG ends
