Former Jedi Knight Ewan McGregor has signed on to HBO鈥檚 The Corrections.
The premium network鈥檚 adaptation of the acclaimed Jonathan Frazen novel about a dysfunctional Midwestern family has already cast Chris Cooper and Diane Wiest as the family鈥檚 parents, with McGregor playing their second child Chip.
This mark鈥檚 McGregor鈥檚 first regular role in a TV show (he appeared in a stand-out episode of ER back in the day). The Corrections is still only at the pilot stage, but it鈥檚 tough to see a cast this strong on a property this well known just sitting on the sidelines.
