To many people he is still best known as rebellious barrister Egg in hit show This Life.

But Andrew Lincoln is making a name for himself in the U.S. as sheriff deputy Rick Grimes in hit horror show The Walking Dead.

And his character is certainly more hard boiled than the lawyer turned cook he played in the iconic 90s BBC cult favourite.

The first season of The Walking Dead debuted last year to rave reviews, and the reception was so strong cable television station ACM decided to renew it for a second season.
