    love the evolution of these to characters from flat and stereotypical to rounded and dynamic and the fact that they became a super couple on top of it! great writing! bravo VD!

    They are the first couple apart from Delena (I am still adamant about them becoming canon!) that I actually like. Well... "love" would be the more appropriate word.

    These two characters have zipped ahead of Elena, Damon, and Stefan for me.  Really, last week I had to snag a couple of minutes before dashing off to do an errand.  I FF'd through to watch Caroline's scenes then came back to watch the whole ep later.

    I used to think the same about Tyler but I felt so happy when the writers developed his character.. he has grown so much since S1
