So, i think Misha will either be the head Leviathan or maybe Jimmy? Like sam and dean run into Jimmy, and then everybody cries and Jimmy feels awkward?
I really don't want Misha's character to be an evil one if he comes back. I loved him as Castiel and I'm not sure they will be able to give him any other role that I would be remotely satisfied with in the long run
Given the fact that Dean basically threatened to commit murder/suicide if Bobby was dead, will there be someone to care about Dean's grave mental health?
I just hope the big thing that happens isn't another go around of Dean needs to learn to let Sam go.
I'm beginning to wonder if there actually is a secret. The blurb was only mentioned on the CW site. It was never addressed by any of the TPTB. Plus it said the secret could tear the brothers apart but both Jared and Jensen have said the boys are closer than ever this year.
I've just read a really interesting theory on another sire-what if Dean kills Amy without Sam knowing it? Maybe they agree to let her go and Dean goes back later and takes her out because he doesnt trust her?
I think if there is a secret it'll be something that looms over them threatening to tear them apart but I don't think it actually will. It'll be more about the tension-what if Sam finds out? how will he react? how will Dean keep it hidden?
I'm hoping Dean's secret will actually revolve around Dean, not Sam. I'm wondering if Dean has been cutting himself or indulging in some other form of self harm to keep hell at bay.
He backed Sam's play to say yes to Lucifer and watched as he jumped into the pit and in episode 1 this season when Dean found Sam missing, he didn't take off after Sam he went back and tried to help prevent the Leviathans for entering the world. So IMO he has, many times over.
Ok now I am officially excited to watch next friday's episode...I was waiting for a storyline for Dean soo bad and I really want to see them suffer...thanks Gamble you give me hope!!!
I actually agree with this because I don't want to see a new secret that divides Dean and Sam, and I don't want the first friend Sam's had in a long time die at the hands of his brother.
One things is that he can do it, the other is if he can live with it. He was a shell of a man without Sam at the beggining of season 6. He knows that there's things that must be done for the sake of humanity, and he has been willing to let Sam go in the physical sense, but he still hasn't learnt how to truly believe that there could be a life without Sam in it.
I'm not saying that it must happen, though, they culd take their codependency to healthier levels, but I'm just saying that Dean hasn't ever truly learn how to live without Sam. And I hope that it doesnt gets to that.
I agree with all you have been saying. The relationship between Sam and Dean is unique and that's what makes Supernatural unique too.
There are plenty other brother/ family/ best friend shows out there but only one Sam and Dean.
They are co-dependent, we could wish that they would become less bonded in future to allow them to live more serene lives, but the path the show is taking doesn't seem to point that way.
Dean practically raised Sam Sam is his child, he fed him, looked after him, was at his bedside when he was ill, took him to school and did all the things a mother would do.
Whenever Sam has been away from him he has been unhappy and broken.
When he was with Lisa and Ben he was apparently serene, but although he was fond of them he was still yearning for his brother even after more than a year.
This doesn't bode well for a new open relationship with the brothers but I do like that the story line is moving forward and the first two episodes were awesome.
Great to know that Misha will probably be back, but I'd much rather see Castiel. Preferably Misha AS Castiel. I'm not interested in seeing them bring him back for one episode as a bad guy so they can just kill him off.
I guess it'll matter if she's possessed or an actual monster. If she's a monster, I hope Sam takes care of her, not Dean. If she's possessed, then I hope they can save her. But either way, I'm hoping this secret is more a personal one with Dean. One he is keeping because they have enough on their plate and it won't really effect the outcome of the Leviathon problem. I can dream, right?
I think it's more personal. Like, they find out while he's in the hospital his liver is failing or something. (all that alcohol will take its toll!) Maybe not that dire, but something he's personally gotta face not an external supernatural thing. Otherwise, I doubt he'd keep it a secret. He's the one who seems to have learned that lesson. I just hope he doesn't regress.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
*Misha*, but yay, new interview! Going to read now.
ReplyDeleteSo, i think Misha will either be the head Leviathan or maybe Jimmy? Like sam and dean run into Jimmy, and then everybody cries and Jimmy feels awkward?
ReplyDeleteReally interesting! Thanks! I think that they should bring Cas back as the head leviathian it makes a lot of sense.
ReplyDeleteI really don't want Misha's character to be an evil one if he comes back. I loved him as Castiel and I'm not sure they will be able to give him any other role that I would be remotely satisfied with in the long run
ReplyDeleteI really hope Cas will be back, but as a friend for the Winchesters! I just loved their dynamic together!
ReplyDeletedid I miss something? what was the thing about the secret?
ReplyDeletethnks for posting!! :D
ReplyDeleteYeah they didn't really get much into that did they?
ReplyDeleteNot a lot of info about Dean's 'secret'. I'm willing to wait patiently... I think.
ReplyDeleteGiven the fact that Dean basically threatened to commit murder/suicide if Bobby was dead, will there be someone to care about Dean's grave mental health?

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing it has something to do with this friday's episode, b/c that sets the ball rolling - but it wasn't very clear.
ReplyDeleteI think if there is a secret it'll be something that looms over them threatening to tear them apart but I don't think it actually will. It'll be more about the tension-what if Sam finds out? how will he react? how will Dean keep it hidden?

ReplyDeleteIt's not like he has learnt it.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the time she took to reassure us,but really,Sera,we didn't start watching the show yesterday..We kind of knew that he will be back! :-p
ReplyDeleteGreat interview though,I can't wait to see how things will play out!
Maybe he was boinking Cas, that would make the destiel fans go catatonic with glee.
ReplyDeleteHe backed Sam's play to say yes to Lucifer and watched as he jumped into the pit and in episode 1 this season when Dean found Sam missing, he didn't take off after Sam he went back and tried to help prevent the Leviathans for entering the world. So IMO he has, many times over.

ReplyDelete"and I really want to see them suffer"
ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen them suffer yet?
I actually agree with this because I don't want to see a new secret that divides Dean and Sam, and I don't want the first friend Sam's had in a long time die at the hands of his brother.
ReplyDeleteI think they need to add to the dictionary under the definition of Suffering:
ReplyDelete4. To have the life of either and or both of the Winchester twins from Supernatural
One things is that he can do it, the other is if he can live with it. He was a shell of a man without Sam at the beggining of season 6. I disagree because Dean managed to live on this own without Sam just fine when Sam was at school.
ReplyDeleteSounds like an interesting and fun episode. We really didn't get anything on Dean's secrets though, which just makes me that much more intrigued.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but he had John then, and that time Sam was the one who left, it didn't gave Dean much of a choice.
ReplyDeleteAnd again, John was with Dean that time, after he died, Sam became his only living relative, that kicked the codependency a few notches up.
I can't imagine that Castiel will not be back. Just a question of 'when' not 'if'.

Dean practically raised Sam

He said so himself so we must believe it,
regards
This doesn't bode well for a new open relationship with the brothers but I do like that the story line is moving forward and the first two episodes were awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that Dean will get storylines by himself but I just hope that it doesn't impact the brother relationship too much
ReplyDeleteThis ariticle didn't even mention the word Secret.
ReplyDeleteGreat to know that Misha will probably be back, but I'd much rather see Castiel. Preferably Misha AS Castiel. I'm not interested in seeing them bring him back for one episode as a bad guy so they can just kill him off.
