DOUBLE THE WINCHESTERS, DOUBLE THE FUN — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are once again on the FBI’s “Most Wanted” list when two Leviathans clone the brothers and go on a killing spree. The subject of a nationwide manhunt, Sam and Dean need to drop off the grid so Bobby (Jim Beaver) sends them to Frank Deveraux (guest star Kevin R. McNally), a quirky surveillance expert, for help. Meanwhile, Bobby continues to search for a way to kill the Levianthans, or at least slow them down, so the real Winchesters can stop their evil doppelgangers. John Showalter directed the episode written by Robbie Thompson (#706).

ReplyDeleteI'd really like to see a lead cop that is just totally over the top. Maybe like the "Tritter" character David Morse played in the House story arc.

I wonder why the episode is called that? I mean besides the obvious node to the fans :DD.

ReplyDeleteLOL I'm not sure how I'm gonna handle seeing two sets of Winchesters.... my brain might implode or something! LOL But seriously though, this is gonna be SO awesome! I'm excited about getting to see our Jared and Jensen play leviathans! I mean how cool is that gonna be, you know what I mean? :D Can't wait to see the episode! This season just keeps sounding better and better!
ReplyDeleteSo they're running from the FBI again, that's definitely very "down to earth" after all the angels and demons. I'm not sure if I like it yet, though. I think I've seen too many cop shows lately.

ReplyDeletei'm excited for evil!Dean and Sam but I'm waiting to see the episode before I decide if I like the FBI thing coming back or not. It's either going to be awesome or feel really redundant. Although usually even stuff I think sounds dumb at the beginning turns out to be awesome, so I'm reserving judgment.
ReplyDeleteLOL! The return of the gore will be good! We haven't had much lately in my opinion... but I'm probably wrong... anyways I think the show is better with it, I'm a big fan of My Bloody Valentine (the Ep and the movie but in this case I'm referring to the ep) because of it!

ReplyDeleteWow...this sounds awesome! I'll confess that the title had made me a bit nervous, but the premise sounds fantastic. Jared and Jensen are going to have bundles of fun as their evil doppelgangers, and I'm interested to see how they're going to deal with a renewed police manhunt. On top of that, I'm very excited to meet Kevin McNally as Frank Deveraux, I think he's brilliant. The only thing I'm worried about: is this the episode where they'll have to stash the Impala? :-O

This sounds like a FABULOUS episode! For some reason I love having the Winchesters hunted by humans.... Although it will be awful having the world thinking that they are true monsters...

ReplyDeleteAlthough...'dropping off the grid'...they're going to stop using the Impala, I just know it! *cry* I'm sure if/when they do it won't be permanent, but it would be soooo wrong to see them driving in anything else. Ah well.

I don't think that's been 100% established. Perhaps they were being convenient and got rid of the old person while taking their place at the same time. We know that they were really hungry when they broke out.

We are getting such an abundance of goodies fron Supernatural this year :-)
I honestly must congratulate the writers and troupe on having been able to keep just about everything under wraps, as there have definitely been very few spoilers getting though on the episodes.
I, too have alwaays been a fan of Hendricksen, and I would have liked for him to stick around as a sort of male Sheriff Mills or apprentice hunter even.
The producers keep saying that this is a back to basics season but it seems like the Leviathans are going to be taking away a lot the basics too. I'm not enthused.

ReplyDeleteMaybe the Levi's got enough "genetic material" when the boys are in hospital in 7.03, and saved it somehow . Or there are more Levis than the 4 we're seen not counting the Boss and two of them "touch" Sam and Dean in this episode and they're well fed enough by this time to control themselves and not attract attention - the boys might not even know they're Levis [these two people"] . Maybe the Boss wants the authorities to kill them to keep the "supernaturally killed body count" to a minimum to hide the Levi's activities . Or the Boss just wants to toy with them now so he keeps Sam and Dean on the run.
ReplyDeleteI agree! I did not even think of this maneuver (but I should have) by the Levis to force the Winchesters to go to ground. Double the hotness coz' their "evil versions" are always smokin' .

ReplyDeleteYeah, Eve was able to easily turn people into a carbon copy of that one guy (what was his name again?) ...so who's to say exactly what the limits of the Leviathans are?

ReplyDeleteI too am excited about the FBI manhunt aspect. The lack of police intelligence (for lack of a better phrase) has been one of my biggest pet peeves for years on this show. Not to mention, I loved Henrickson. I expect this episode to be action-packed and I can't wait. Is this the episode where the BTS pix showed them being arrested?

ReplyDeleteEgads! This has more far-reaching consequences than I thought. First off, they can't undo a police manhunt so unless they are "dead' again it goes on forever. But also, I thought Leviathans could only shape shift if they touched the people. If they got close enough to touch, why not just kill them. If they don't need to touch, then they can take over anyone anywhere and that's impossible to stop.

I like the idea but I dont want this to end in an endless run again. Being chased by Cops & FBI not able to use their real names etc. for the rest of the season? aaaw no. I wanted old SPN back but PLEASE, let this be a 1-2 ep. storyline only.
