    Hey, it must be my poor understanding of English, but I suddenly thought the 'cake' was supposed to be a 'cake/pie' in Sam's eyes (I mean, I translate both words with the same word in Spanish; although I understand there is a difference, it's a minor one for me) but who knows what in Dean's eyes. You know, as Dean receiving some kind of horrible food mixture because Sam cannot still tell he is hallucinating in the lesser details. It left me really intrigued.

    I think it may be just you, for me the video player loads perfectly fast and much better than the previous player.  Hope it works better for you in the future though.

    oh god is that video cute with them. I am so excited to see Sam and Dean dealing with such normal stuff again, its a long time ago since Dean asked for some pie, isn't it?

    And Sam seems to be a little nervous and twiddling with his hands/fingers. 

    I didn't expect a second sneak peek and that was great. I already watched it 5 times

    I see Dean still has his broken leg, and you can see poor Sammy still pushing on his hand wound while he's talking, to try and keep himself anchored to reality.
    Gosh these two make my heart bleed!
    I pretend at least one happy episode out of the whole twenty-three!!!

    I love that right after the pie/cake exchange the music suddenly changes to really dramatic. Like the big cliffhanger is whether or not Dean will ever get his pie.

    Dean used to get pie from his mother, so it's a comfort food for him.  He doesn't take it well when he doesn't get his pie.

    Wow. I came back home completely happy, and then I watched this and my heart started to hurt because everything felt so dark and I was hurting for Sam and Dean.  Then the last line about pie made me laugh and I was happy all over again. Only Supernatural can do this to me...
    Oh, how I missed the pie :)

    A cake is is different from a pie.
    What Dean has in his hand is a cake, a pie is usually a layer of pastry with fruit or jam insde and covered over with more pastry :-)

    Thank you, I understand that. My point is that on first view, my initial reaction was to interpret Dean's confused look as a sign that he was seeing something really awful in his hand, but we, the viewers, were seeing with Sam a beautiful cake. And this reaction of mine is because I do associate 'cake' and 'pie' as being about the same thing, it takes a second thought for me to be aware of the difference and that the show is playing with that. The thing is I was so intent in finally seeing what Dean was seeing and then the video clip just ended and I decided to share.

    I love Honesty Sam and I hope both Winchesters turn in that direction, but what's with the weird background music.  It's very distracting and out of place.  By the way Sam, cake and pie are not close.

    Why does there have to be 6 other days of a week other than Friday!?
    I miss the good old days, when I watched episode after episode, catching up to where we are now
    No breaks..just Winchesters all day....
    Now my weeks are so long as I wait for Friday, and by the time the episode comes out, I'm mentally tired from being excited too much..if that's possible :l

    Pie has a crust with filling in it. Cake is quite different.    Sam thinking that cake is the same as pie is rather strange.  It was worth it for the look on Dean's face.  Poor guy. lol

    I saw that scene in Dark Side of the Moon, where his mom asks him if he wants some pie, and I though, "So that's where that came from!" He associates it with his mom.

    I knew the difference between pie and cake, I have already explained that I was just interpreting the misunderstanding between the brothers in a different way, but I appreciate your information that for Sam, a native English speaker, the difference is quite clear and is weird that he would substitute pie with cake, as being close enough. Well, that helps me interpret the scene, thanks. It means that he is being quite distressed recently, because you know, he loves his brother, he wouldn't just deprive him of his pie if he really could have helped it right?

    I think you have a lot of people aboard that train.  :-)  They really need to get back to the basics now that the brothers are back together.  This would be a great way to start.  The amulet would be another.  However, this also reminds me of another Supernatural classic from that episode - "No chick flick moments."  (sigh - a girl can dream)

    If you really want to stay away from spoilers, you may want to avoid SpoilerTV.  Even when the sneak peeks and promos and BTS photos and news articles don't say it, we frequently talk about spoilers in the comments.  We've been talking about how many episodes Bobby is in since the summer so I don't think anyone who comments regularly here even thinks of that as a spoiler.  It was a given Bobby was still alive.

    Close enough? I don't think so. Poor Dean, looking so disappointed. Will he ever get his pie? :DDD And Sam. Looked like he was messing with that cut on his hand still...has to keep hurting himself just to know what's real and what's not? Poor boys. One pie-less and another still hallucinating. And yay for Bobby being okay! Though I'm wondering why he let his house get burnt down. Where was he? And Dean's leg is still broke, good. I was worried they'd make it magically heal or something.

    yeah sorry not really feeling sorry for Dean here, I understand he's got a lot on his plate well except for pie but his issues are things he can get over if he just stops wollowing in self pity and gives himself a break. Sam isnt so lucky, his issue is not something he can just get over so easily.

    LOL I love that Sam pulls an entire head of lettuce out of the bag after he gives Dean his cake and stuff- I love rabbit-food!Sam.  I can just picture him hanging out and munchin' on a head of lettuce while Dean glowers over his not-pie cake.  :)
