Ringer - Casting News - Amber Benson to Guest

Thanks to Gerald and Ilenya for the heads up.

Maybe this will help the weak ratings: Sarah Michelle Gellar will reunite with one of her Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-stars on Ringer.

Amber Benson will guest-star in Episode 10 of the freshman series, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. Benson, who portrayed Willow's girlfriend Tara Maclay on Buffy, will play Mary Curtis, a stripper who is also an informant for Agent Machado (Nestor Carbonell).

Last seen taking a bullet aimed for Buffy in Season 6, Benson has gone on to appear in several TV series, including Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and Supernatural.

  2. "Maybe this will help the weak ratings..."

Maybe not sticking Ringer with the low-rated 90210 as a lead in would have helped ratings too.  Because of that, a lot of the people who watch the show don't watch it live.

  3. You should check out Supernatural.
They have "Spike" and "Cordy" in an upcoming episode.

  8. I love how many Buffy alum are suddenly on my screen.  I hope that this does raise the ratings because the show continues to get better after a disastrous pilot.  Such a shame the pilot sucked so much.  I think might have liked this one if they stuck through it for a few more episodes.

  9. This makes me SO happy and very hopeful that in the future we might get James Marsters heating things up for either Siobhan or Bridget. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :)

But anyways, good on Amber! Couldn't happen to a nicer woman!

  11. Her face's bone structure does look odd so skinny.

    But YAY! Love Amber.
