SPN and Fringe will both go up significantly in final viewer numbers, though live+7 isn't worth as much as live+SD when it comes to keeping a show alive.
me too...but now I'm just happy that we're steady in the top shows :) Beated by only 3 shows of the week, where 2 of them with only +0,1 of demo, on any other day of the week SPN would do a least a 0,8 or 0,9..so it's almost like being in the top 2-3 if we consider the '''friday factor'' if you allow me to use that expression
A 1.2? Really? I can’t speak for others, but I know for a fact that last night in my state it was absolutely horrible outside! Besides, what’s better than a rainy night outside to kick back with some Red Vines and watch Fringe?
I wanna know what the DVR numbers are…
We can't give up on our show! We must keep it alive! Remember to watch live on Friday's if you can!
The real test comes in 2 weeks when Grimm starts. It will have the same target audience as Fringe and especially SPN. I certainly expect the live+SD to take a hit for both shows. The live+7 will also likely take hits for both shows as many people can only watch/dvr 2 shows at a time.
Definitely. I mentioned that several weeks ago. Supernatural is just stuck on a bad night on a bad network. Grimm, from the TV spots, looks like it has a lot more money to work with as far as production goes. It may not have any star power when it comes down to brass tacks.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
not too bad for SPN, stable at 0,7 on a friday night
ReplyDeleteI really dislike SPN <1.0. It's just wrong.
ReplyDeleteAnd Fringe went down.
So, yeah.
It's a relief to see steady numbers, although I hope the viewers number is adjusted up in the final ratings.
ReplyDeleteFringe dropped a tick in 18-49, but total viewers only dropped 3%. SPN dropped 2%. Pretty stable for both at the moment.
ReplyDeleteWas hoping Fringe would be up again *sighs*

What is wrong with the world when Fringe can be beaten by a rerun of "Last Man Standing"?
ReplyDeleteYeah, but the 1.2 is not good. If that becomes the norm as opposed to a 1.4-1.5, by January it could be around 1.0 which = cancellation...

ReplyDeleteI hate it when the fringe ratings drop :(
ReplyDeletebut at least they seem to be stable wasn't that what fox wanted??
Ive really been liking A Gifted Man. Hope it sticks around for a while.
ReplyDeleteSad.Fringe used to have higher ratings.
ReplyDeleteNext episode is going to have higher rating. Peter is back
ReplyDeletePeter is back, so now all the whiners who quit the show because he was gone can come back in droves and boost the ratings!
ReplyDeletethis is the episode he was coming back, everyone knew. very low ratings....
ReplyDeletemaskedscheduler tweeted on Friday asking fans for a 1.4, which got me worried. If 1.4 is where Fringe needs to be stable, this is bad news.
ReplyDeleteSupernatural has way more viewers then that. It's time they started counting all of us. I shop a lot.
ReplyDeleteI watch live but I'm not counted. I do DVR it though. I watch the same night and twice the week.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see Blue Bloods doing well. Not sure about Supernatural :( I loved the episode too
ReplyDeleteWHY .7??? WHY!!!!!!!!! voila
ReplyDeleteI agree, but remember both shows have TOTALLY different audiences.
ReplyDeletePeople who remain spoiler free, which I imagine is most of the audience, didn't know. I am hopeful for the ratings now that he's back.
ReplyDeleteI think we need not to panic... Fringe is doing just fine!
ReplyDeleteI know it sounds a bit "toooo" positive but we need to have faith in FOX/WB!!!

ReplyDeleteRussell Hornsby??
Are you serious?
According to TVBytheNumbers, the final ratings had Supernatural's 18-49 rise from 0.7 to 0.8.
ReplyDelete:)
I for one was excited to see that. Of course, it seems like all the CW rose last week.
