Green Bay vs. Atlanta on Sunday Night Football led NBC to overnight victory, with a 20 percent advantage over second-place CBS. Next was deteriorating ABC, followed by last-place Fox, which replaced the rained out Major League Baseball game with encore telecasts of The Cleveland Show and The X Factor.
The football match-up on NBC averaged an approximate 14.0 rating/22 share in primetime (from 8:30-11 p.m.), with the half-hour breakdown as follows:

In week three news, Pan Am on ABC lost more steam, with a third-place 5.2/ 8 in the overnights at 10 p.m. Comparably, that was down by 10 percent from one week earlier, with retention out of fading lead-in Desperate Housewives (#3: 6.2/ 9 – down 28 percent from 10/10/10) of 84 percent. One year earlier, former time period occupant Brothers & Sisters averaged a 6.4/10. Three-week overnight track for Pan Am:

Earlier in the evening on ABC was long-running America’s Funniest Home Videos (#3: 4.0/ 7) and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (#3: 4.5/ 7) from 7-9 p.m. As a reminder, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition moves into the Friday 8 p.m. hour on Oct. 21. New drama Once Upon a Time steps into the time period on Oct. 23.
Over at Fox, the network replaced game 2 of the American League Championship Series with two repeat episodes of animated The Cleveland Show (#4: avg. 1.4/ 3 from 7-8 p.m.) and two encore hours of The X Factor (#4: 1.9/ 3 from 8-10 p.m.).
