  2. Well, I loved Mark Pellegrino but I found the rest of the episode kind of boring to be honest. And obvisously Cas isnt dead, Ben wouldnt have made his goodbye so anticlimactic.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Dean: "Are you seeing him right now"
Sam: *Looks at Lucifer, then nods
Confused, torn, broken Sam has smothered me.

Aww then a scene of Sleeping Sammy, and he's back to being my bias after last weeks obsession with Dean's hair.

Sammy looked so cute when he was unsure in this ep :D

At one point during some of his close ups I was playing count the moles on the exposed parts of Sam's skin.

Fake Dean: "Devil still riding shotgun?"

Fake Dean: "You are never gonna be okay Sam" I thought it was the actual Dean and I was sorta hurt when he told Sammy this, thank God he was just a manifestation.

Dean on phone: "I swear I will strap my beautiful mind brother in the car and drive us off a pier" wow Dean, s'hell lol...0_0

Crawls toward unconscious Sam and shakes him frustratedly, "Come on, I'm the one with the broken leg, you gotta carry ME!"
    lmao... lol again

This was an awesome yet, as usual I missed the beginning, this is becoming a habit (a bad one -_- )

  4. Another edge of the seat episode. 2 from 2 from Season 7! Ben Edlund is a sadistic bastard - who also happens to be a genius. And those leviathans are impossible to kill.
    WOW ! Just, WOW!

  5. LOOVED IT! SPN is back. Woop Woop. Stayed up to watch it via Live Stream (it's 4 am now), which didnt work out so well :(. Kept Stopping and freezing. Ugh, I missed the Cas Scene!!!!!!!! Jensen did a great job.

    cant wait for next week.

  7. This season is shaping up to be all kinds of awesome! I've somehow found myself in the exact same position as I was in this time last week: praying for the next week to pass as swiftly as possible so that I can see the new episode of Supernatural. This season has started off as a roller coaster and I can only imagine that it's going to get better from here!

  8. Lucifer reading the National Examiner. Classic.
The boys are hurt. The lore is burned. Weapons don't work. Bobby's gone.
    Ruh-Ro Rorge!!

  9. I absolutely LOVED every second of it.

  10. Insanely awesome and epic tonight. One of the best SPN eps EVER!!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Awesome episode!!!! So glad Big brother Dean is back!! Remember Cass, no one is ever dead forever on Supernatural!! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Just one stupid question:
How did Dean broke his leg?

I mean, he got throw all around for years, against a tree, a wall, from high or whatever and never get anything, but just being throw against a car and bang a broken leg?

    ReplyDelete
  13. One of the best episodes in a long time! So FREAKING AWESOME!!! And thank Cass!! BigBrother!Dean is back!!!!! Highlight of the last several years of my life! Bed Edlund is a GOD!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Holy crap! Bobby's house is gone? Sam is having some crazy hallucinations? And poor Dean is stressed to the max, or darn near it. I can not believe how much I liked this episode. They keep twisting things around in unexpected ways. Very cool, and some great acting in my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I loved all the extra characters. Everyone was so snarky. :)
I loved Lucifer as Dean. Everything Dean said was so evil!
And then the real Dean swooped in made him realize the difference between pain in the world and pain in hell...
Bobby was awesome the whole episode!!! Absolutely terrific!

WTF WAS WITH THE TONGUES/FANGS!? I ALMOST JUMPED OUT OF MY CHAIR!
I loved how they looked though, it reminded me of Beetlejuice! This paired with Cas' stomach scene, Supernatural is moving into 80s gore classics mode!

I also enjoyed the pacing -- making the episodes flow into each other! I enjoy stories like that, they keep up the intrigue!

    ReplyDelete
  16. It's just a convenient plot device to get Dean out of the way for Jensen's episode. But you're right - normally it's like those boys are made of rubber :)

    ReplyDelete
  17. My first thought was there would be a little "mixing of the blood" going on from the crushed leviathan and Dean's bleeding leg. Oh well. Different direction.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I agree, that really surprised me. The morphing face? Awesome! :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Loved the episode.  Everyone was great.  Sad about Cas, but I think he will be back.  Though it was touching that the trenchcoat came out of the water like that.  Jensen was just awesome as devil pretending to be Dean and as Dean.  Jared was great as a guy losing his mind.  Jim was great.  I love how they were all staying away from water.

    ReplyDelete
  20. :) Good theory, never thought of that

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ruh-Ro Rorge!!I literally laughed out loud!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. They keep talking about "The Boss".... my guess is that is Castiel. Or the Leviathan that stayed in Castiel. They came to kill the Winchesters because that Leviathan knows what they are capable of.... Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I screamed (ok I screamed a couple of times -- yuk)...

    ReplyDelete
  24. "Oh look, another me." His voice even sounded smarmy and different.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Awesome episode. Love how they are going out on cliffhangers and REALLY LOVE THE BROTHERLY LOVE coming back! What the show is about, two brothers...the writers are finally getting it together again. Two episodes in and it is already 100% better for me then dragged out Season 6. I'm sure we'll see Castiel again. I mean they bring the dead back as often as they use creepy little girls as monsters ;)

The Supernatural I fell in love with is back and it is good!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Can't wait to see the Leviathan boss.  Wonder if it's still in the main water source in Castiel's naked, melting body.

    ReplyDelete
  27. loved this episode. i wanted to cry watching the scene of dean talking sam out of his head. i love these brothers and it was great to see this touching scene of them. i have to wonder where bobby is though, did the leviathan take him. also i don't think cas is really gone maybe he is but i think his body is still there. can't wait for next week i wanna see how they get out of this hospital.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I liked that scene and the one where Dean calls Bobby trying to find him when they get back to his burned house. Both scenes choked me up a little.

    ReplyDelete
  29. My guess is that the Leviathans are these ancient monsers, the "Old Ones" as Death called them. I'm assuming that they pack a more powerful punch that demons and threw Dean hard enough TO break his leg.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Good episode but there was a lot packed into that episode. Wish that could have stretched over 2 weeks and gotten rid of one stand alone. It felt a little rushed. Given Cas' last meaningful line said he would find a way to redeem himself, he'll find a way to redeem himself dead or alive. Everyone always does.

Also, when did the Leviathans become the aliens from V? http://images.wikia.com/v/v/images/a/a6/V_2009_Serpent-s_Tooth_S02E02_Anna_eating_large_rat.jpg

  31. I am loving season 7 so far. They are really raising the bar. Unfortunately, in the realm of big bads, I dont see how they can continue with those after this season, unless they do God himself. They have done lucifer and the apocalypse and now an analogy for The Great Old Ones.

    ReplyDelete
  32. an outstanding episode on all levels

    ReplyDelete
  33. Not really.   Jensen directed episode 3 as the first episode filmed.  The broken leg was filmed after The Girl Next Door which continues the broken leg.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I don't when they did, but you are right about that.  what a copy cat on it.  It's not the first time Supernatural has copied something and made it their own.  It usually works. lol

    ReplyDelete
  35. Order of filming has no bearing on whether the broken leg is a plot device to ensure Jensen is out of The Girl Next Door episode as much as possible.

  37. I was out shopping most of the evening.  I had it DVRed and watched it when I got home.  I was wondering how Dean broke his leg.  My question is how is it going to heal fast?  I don't remember seeing him in a cast in around episode 5 or 6.  Curious about that.  This episode had some incredibly fantastic acting.  Jared was superb.  Jensen  was awesome as usual.  Both of the boys get better every episode.    Jim is always wonderful.  Mark was excellent.  Jensen as Lucifer as Dean was very good.  I know Jared can  do that well.  It cool seeing Jensen do it....taking on the characteristics of someone else's character.   That can be kind of difficult to do.  They were all fantastic.  We were sitting and debating if that was the sheriff in the hospital or not.  It was good to see her this early.  Neat that she called Bobby when she needed help.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I loved it!!, and that hasn't happened since episode 6x10, please!! keep it that way!!.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Bobby's!!!! NOOO!! That's just not right I mean we've sorta gotten used to the Impala taking hits (still cringe every time) but not Bobby's!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Middle of watching. Awfully glad this field is at the top of the page so I don't get spoiler till I'm done.

I just had to rant about the woman who, grabbed her iv back to follow a doctor who just took a woman out of her room...without calling for help.     stupid stupid stupid.  This is usually the point where I declare that it's okay for the monster to kill the dumb character.

Okay, that was the Sheriff and she *finally* called for help.

    THEY ENDED THERE!!!!!!!!

I can't to analytical right now.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I loved it! it was brilliant with some actual h/c although it is ridiculous that Sam had the cut on his hand and it never healed--where is the CW magic ointment? LOL I know that it is for the storyline purposes but there have been other episodes where one of the boys or both have been badly hurt at the end of the episode and the next one they're completely fine. It's just a little funny to me that's all.

And next week? Just two words: SAM and HOSPITAL

    ReplyDelete
  42. It was creepy and disgusting and so,so good!
Seriously, what's the deal with their mouths?!?!The last time I was so freaked out by something(apart from that thing coming out of Cas' stomach),it was the Famine episode.I like the show being disgusting once in a while..!

The Leviathans are absolutely amazing.I'm daring to say that they are the greatest villain in the history of the show.I liked every single one of them. The little girl watching the Sexy MD commercial was priceless!
It's a good idea that even they have a hierarchy. And I promise that I will act very surprised when the "boss" appears in Castiel's vessel.I've shared my opinion. He's not even dead. And I think that's at least part of the reason Sam and Dean have to die.Maybe he's somehow fighting the big boss and they're hoping that by killing the Winchesters he'll give up.In a any case,we now know for sure why the brothers can't use any of their old tricks and weapons. The Leviathans have Cas' memories and let's face it,Cas knew everything about them.
Despite how certain I am that we'll see him again(and I've never been so certain about anything when it comes to this show) the scene with a trench coat was heartbreaking.First of all, next time we see him he won't be wearing it.I can't even picture it.I just hope that we won't have to wait for the mid season finale for the big revelation. Please!

Sam,Dean and Bobby were great! We had the big brother speech coming and it was about time.Jared was amazing.
And I can NOT believe that Bobby's house is gone. What was with them yesterday?!?First the trench coat(I hope it wasn't it the house)then the house..It's been there since season 1.That's why Bobby isn't the go-for-answers guy anymore. : (

I'm enjoying Lucifer so much more that season 5.Why?Why didn't they portray him like that back then? The sympathetic devil was good for a while, but I kind of grew tired of him.Now he's amazing.Mark owned the episode!

The continuity between the episodes works really great.I don't it'll last for very long but it's really good so far!
    One damn week...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Boy, am I so envious of you guys!

Season 7 seems to have got off to a " faster than the speed of light" beginning and heaven (or hell! ) knows when I will get to see it:-( :-(
It doesn't matter though,  because I know I will eventually see the episodes and that's ok.

I'd rather look forward to new episodes in the distant future than have to cry over the fact that Supernatural is cancelled, and that  there would never BE any new ones!
I so, so, hope the ratings are good for last night,

It seems that there is a better brotherly connection in these first two episodes and that is definitely a plus for me.
I can't wait to read your comments about next week's episode as I just love flashbacks, especially with wee Sam Colin Ford.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I just loved these fragments of dialogue that you picked out to post.:)

There's nothing I like more than when the brothers are helping one  another, trying to ease each other's pain and when Dean is willing to go take drastic measures to keep himself and Sam together even by driving themselves off a pier:-)))))

    ReplyDelete
  45. Your recap was great both funny and informative, I loved it.

About the fact of what happens to Sam and Dean at the eventual end of the series ,( in the far far future, I hope !) I can't think of an ending that would satisfy me.

Obviously it's better going out swinging than dying in their beds, or finding out it was all a dream, or having their memories cleaned and forgetting everything, but I feel they should get some sort of reward for all the suffering, self-sacrifice and loss that has been their life.

    The question is what????

    ReplyDelete
  46. Can't you watch it on the computer? I live in Europe and watched it at four in the morning, shortly before it ended airing in the US. Write me if you need the link. *kuddos*

    ReplyDelete
  47. Oh,I'm not the only one crazy enough to stay up until 4...
    I must say,it's a relief!  ; )

    ReplyDelete
  48. Just rewatched it...It was still epic!

The hide and seek with Misha will be fun.. :p
Let's see how many times they can surprise us!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Hey, thanks, the link would be great to have, because  might I get to the stage that I can't resist:-)
I don't know that at four in the morning I would be awake enough to really enjoy it though;-)

The thing is this, I have watched all the seasons on DVD along with my sons, who speak good English, but it's not their first language, and so they like to have the sub-titles in English in case they don't catch an unusual word or phrase.

They love the show too, and somehow I feel I would be cheating on them if I watched without them, and there's no way they would drag themselves out of bed at that time in the morning:-)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Sammy my thoughts exactly.  They are much stronger than what Dean and Sam have encountered so far.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Awesome!! Good!! so there are so many positive reactions from the fans till now :D

    ReplyDelete
  52. I know right. I'm gonna miss that place. :3

    ReplyDelete
  53. I find it funny that some people are so upset about Cas "dying". That scene with the trench coat was heartbreaking, but we all know that no-one really stays dead on SPN. Especially when they just disappear like that.

    ReplyDelete
  54. That's kind of a mean thing to say. Ideas aren't exactly original anymore because of how much stuff has been used. You could also say they got the idea from Venom in Spiderman. Just sayin'. It's not like they're trying to rip off other's ideas...

    ReplyDelete
  55. Well, they have a plan for a S8 already, so I'm sure the writers know what they're doing in terms of big bads and stories. :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. wow. incredible. absolutley incredible!!
i can't believe how great these 2 episodes have been
this whole situation is so tense and terrifying!!
i'm soo worried for sam and intriguied by the leviathans and wishing to god that bobby is as fine as i'm sure he is
can't wait for next week, again. this weekly torture is worse than what sam is going through (ok, maybe not. but it's still pretty bad)
was sad to see cas disappear like that, leaving just his almighty trenchcoat
i love how bobby can just call out dean on everything he's hiding, its a nice change to see someone tell dean that they see through his crap, and it was heartbraking to hear him say it in that voice message.

    finger crossed sam pulls through!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. ****Dean on phone: "I swear I will strap my beautiful mind brother in the car and drive us off a pier"****I don't think driving off the pier is really the best choice. The leviathans are in the water and would quickly converge on them, eat them, and take over their bodies. Driving off a cliff would be a better option.****Fake Dean: "You are never gonna be okay Sam"****Isn't it sad that every time Sam hallucinates Dean (When the Levee Breaks) he hears Dean saying such horrible things to him. Dean, and what he thinks of Sam, is so important to Sam but his subconscious fears come out in his hallucinations. Poor Sammy.

    ReplyDelete
  58. good thinking! i never thought of that but yeah, that really makes sense.
although if his leg is broken so he is out of the way for episode 3, i don't see how it could recover quickenough for episode 4, given that it's taken this long for sam's hand to heal

    ReplyDelete
  59. but surely by now, having gone through it so many times, sam would realise that whenever dean speaks like that to him its not real
nah, i get it, it must be so hard for sam. but he'll pull through, he's tough

    ReplyDelete
  60. Rochey, I LOVE your quirky, humorous recaps, girl! :D They make me smile
everytime, but I am so glad you did stay serious about that brother
scene, because I was seriously tearing up during that scene. What a
truly POWERFUL scene!! ♥  I totally agree too about Mark P/Lucifer messing with Sam and being in his head. He said and did a lot of things to Sam in this episode that really opened up a whole flurry of imagination in terms of what happened to Sam down in the cage... How heartbreaking. ;_; I'm really worried about Sam though. He already has the emotional head trauma and now he has physical head trauma. I just have to wonder how severe his head trauma is? The fact that he's passing out and seizing... *bites lip* and poor Dean with how stressed he is and how he was "stay with me, Sammy!" *sniffs a bit* but but but... BOBBY'S HOUSE!!!! *wails*

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yeah it did.  He was just great.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Excellent episode.  Two weeks in a row of solid, action-packed episodes.  The black goo was so X-Files.  I kept expecting Alex Krycek to appear from the shadows.  Loved the two callbacks to Changing Channels - the return of Dr. Sexy and a CSI investigator.  And finally, I loved the way Lucifer kept weaving in and out of the scenes.  I'd still like to see more range of emotions from Sam other than fear.  While it's understandable given his state, I hope they don't limit the portrayal of his Hell experience to a creepy horror feel that is over once Sam stops hallucinating.  This was a lot more personal for Sam.

I'm back to loving Dean again this episode.  He gave up his cartoon porn and was back to being engaged in what was going on and supportive (loved the warehouse scene).  Not feeling quite the same about Bobby.  Didn't care for the bag lady comment or the way he hustled out of the room to "go back to work" as soon as it became clear how messed up Sam was.  He's a father figure with Dean but not with Sam, and he's not getting a Father's Day card from me.

We got a creepy kid again.  Awesome!  So the Leviathans have a hierarchy and a big boss.  I'm going to call the big boss as Crowley.  This all started with Crowley's idea to open a door to Purgatory.

So Cas is a tattered raincoat now? I agree that he'll be back.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Cause in season 5, Lucifer was trying to get Sam to say yes and the only way he could do that was to play on Sam's sympathies.  He wanted to get everyone on his side.  Yet I agree I will the truly evil Lucifer much better then the sympathetic Lucifer.

    ReplyDelete
  64. My cautious optimism for this season is being abundantly rewarded. If the remainder of the season continues on in the same vein, we're in for a hell of a ride. I don't think that there's anything negative to
say about this one.  Dean using his own Hell experience to
help Sam - I had a feeling that this was when Dean's Hell memories would be
brought up again. Now we have a sense of how Dean was able to keep his mental
footing and Dean has a good sense of just what Sam is seeing.
Concerned Bobby - I loved how Bobby stepped up to the plate to help Sam, acting
like the loving parent that Sam very much needed. We always see Bobby's concern
for Dean (and he certainly wasn't blind here to the pressure that was crushing
Dean), but it was very refreshing to see that caring directed at Sam.
LIMP!SAM! GALORE - and in every flavor. We had crazy Sam. We had suicidal Sam.
We had deep emotional trauma and being on the recieving end of a mindf**k to end
all mindf**ks. We had severe head trauma and seizures. I was absolutely in full
squee mode the last five minutes. It's like they're making up for all the hospital room scenes we've been deprived of for so long.Luci! - This shows how you can use a
great character without overusing him. And they had the balance perfect. We had
all the charm and humor that we've seen from Luci in the past, but didn't hide
the real darkness within him. And seriously... I could not have been the only
one absolutely chilled by the overt rape references being made regarding Sam's
time in the cage. They weren't being subtle about that at all.Realistic treatment of injuries - This is what happens when you don't have an
angel magically healing every skinned knee. We've seen them being thrown around
like beanbags and coming out with not even a bruise. But here? Dean with what
appeared to be a compound fracture of his shin and Sam with severe head trauma
and a possible traumatic brain injury. Fantastic. My one quibble (and
it's a minor quibble, mind you) was Dean's apparent inability to respond to
things regarding Sam without anger or impatience. I'm going to give him a pass
here, because he's being pounded by the worst pressure possible, and he's just
not able to handle it. Bobby did just the right thing, sending Dean on a hunt
and give him something else to focus on for a little while Bobby was able to
give Sam some space to try to pull his head together. Dean certainly stepped up
to the plate when it counted, so I'll forgive his lapse here.

  65. Supernatural JunkieOctober 1, 2011 at 3:24 PM

So far this season has been one big thrill ride.  I love the seamless way the episodes are blending into each other.  It's like one big never-ending action packed thriller.  Bravo to the powers that be for really stepping up to the plate so far.  I really hope it continues and doesn't fall flat for the rest of the season.

I loved the shout outs to previous seasons.  It was like a thank you to Supernatural's fandom and a treat to those of us who are so obsessed that we've watched each episode repeatedly and have them seared into our brains. If you hadn't watched season 5's "Sam Interrupted" you wouldn't understand the reference to Martin in the mental hospital. That's just an example.

I didn't believe I could be more hooked on SPN than I was before this season started, but I am.  I'm already praying for season 8 and I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

  66. Another A for awesome! Loved every second of it again this week! Poor broken Sammy! I thought that maybe, just maybe, Luci would be gone forever after Sam held on to Dean for practically dear life, but I guess not just yet. Very interesting storyline so far. Cas will be saved, but honestly, I am glad that he is going to be gone for a good while because the Leviathan storyline is rather scary. Bobby will be fine and he will save the day. I just know it! But, where will where he live? Maybe I am the only one, but didn't it seem like his house burned down a little too fast? Cannot wait for next week's episode! I agree, a hospital Sam and Dean episode is going to be fantastic, but isn't this the episode that Jensen directed? From the promo, it looks like he is going to be in it quite a bit. Anyway, looking forward to it!

not only that but they could be in the league of angels in power. They did taken down castiel after all. Also they were one of the first creations of God before angels and even before Lucifer and Michael.

  68. SmallvilleSupernaturalCastleOctober 1, 2011 at 5:02 PM

All i can say is Mark Pelligrino as Lucifer is one of the best people u can have return. I loved Luficer in season 5 and i hope they find a way to incorporate him more. Maybe have him return completely or visit his cage. If he returns maybe he would team up with sam and dean to stop the leviathans since they are probably as powerful as him since they took down cas easily.. Afterall the enemy (sam and dean) of my enemy (leviathans) is my friend.

    ReplyDelete
  69. They should get Nick Lea to play a villain on this show. I miss Krycek. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  70. It was a great episode.
But the episode could have had much more emotional impact on the viewers if promotional stills of Bobby in the next episode hadn't been plastered all over the internet. Not knowing Bobby's fate would have kept fans teetering on the edge, even more than they are now. And I found the scene where Dean calls Bobby and leaves him a message reminiscent of the scene in 1.09 Home in which Dean called John and left him a message, asking for help. Overall it was a pretty good episode, a nice follow-up to the roller-coaster premiere. It definitely left me wanting to know what happens next.

  71. I loved this episode. To be honest, I always have to wait until the morning or a few hrs after it airs to watch since I normally had plans, but I actually got to watch it right at 9 last night and was glad this was 1 i didn't have to wait for. Yes, it was sad and I was pretty much crying through half of it and weeping at the end, but it was amazing. Only Supernatural can get me this emotional and I love it

    ReplyDelete
  72. hate to say didn't care to much cas was only in it one minute, please don't tell me he's dead for good that was a stupied way to go!

  73. Hi  *Waves*

"but I am so glad you did stay serious about that brother scene, because I was seriously tearing up during that scene. What a truly POWERFUL scene!! ♥"

Yeah i know i was joking about Sam's Hell but thats afterwards, when I'm typing my comments....I call it my defense mechanism...If s**t starts getting real....Bring out the funny I say...But in all seriousness, I'm not cracking jokes watching the eppy....Supernatural writes Sam/Dean perfectly as characters, so you can't not be sucked into their emotional/trauma scenes...If those scenes don't break you...Well you a 'RoboSam' and quite frankly, i don't wanna talk to you anymore, and you fail at life :D

Yeah i always believed that the way the Brothers are tied up in each other...Ya know...One can't function without the other...Well i always felt that considering THE POOOOWEEEER OF LOOOOVE was able to save the day in season 5...Their bond was able to give Sam enough strength to fight back and throw himself in the hole...Well it would be something similar again when S**t got real....again...Q Dean grounding Sam back to reality last night....It really wouldn't of been believable if they didn't 'ground' each other in times of 'messedupness'...But having Dean tell Sam to  focus on the pain...I kinda 'facepalmed' myself...what happens when his wound heals?...Will he start stabbing himself LOL...Take the knife away from Sammy sloooowly :D

"I totally agree too about Mark P/Lucifer messing with Sam and being in his head. He said and did a lot of things to Sam in this episode that really opened up a whole flurry of imagination in terms of what happened to Sam down in the cage... How heartbreaking"

Yeah...It really came as no surprise....but thinking about it makes me hurt for Sammy....That comment that Luci made didn't really leave any room for THAT DID NOT HAPPEN........HE LYING...THAT'S ALL....OH GOD....IT CAN NEVER BE TAKEN BACK NOW....MY EARS...MY EARS...BRAINBLEACH!!!!!

But Hell is HELL and what we imagine happened prob most def happened to both brothers....I don't think Demons are kind, or picky about what they say/do to their victims...so imagination is most def Canon in this case, and takes on a whole new meaning of 'Nightmare Fuel'

    *Shudders*

As for Sam's head injury....That can't be good for his Mental...head injuries can make normal people hallucinate, and Sam's already hallucinating 0~o

Yeah, i had a crying Jag watching Bobby's house after that violation...Then i had a tantrum when the screen fades to black...I was all "YOU CAN'T DO THIS....NOT NOW....BOBBBBBBY!!!!!

But thankfully it didn't...Epic scene followed, and ambulance scene was heartbreaking, and OH SHIIIIT...Sioux Falls General where the Levi's are??????

Having Dean have to watch Sammy seize and not be able to help him was the most heartbreaking thing in the episode....But Sammy has to recover enough to be able to investigate 'the girl next door' next week, but i heard "Swelling on the brain" by Ambulance dude :((

Nooooo..... don't bring those Wind chimes...My lett....he'll know...The judge says no contact, and no going within 500 feet of Mark at any possible time LOL :D

And just for you...I'll always keep my mental to a bare minimum during those weepy scenes...Not in the scouts.....but...Ah screw it.....Scouts honour <33

  76. Classic Supernatural this episode was!  That brother moment was long overdue, welcome back Winchesters boys!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Hi <33

Thank you for that...Supernatural is basically a massive 'Crapsack' world of Bi Polar....If i manage it, i like to lighten up the experience for fans and myself...so i try to bring the funny......emphasis on Try LOL

Well yeah...they do deserve rewards, but i think considering they never really had rainbows and unicorns to begin with...Well, they shouldn't really have them to end with...I'd just like the end to be more real than surprise families, and living next door to each other with Sunday barbeque's...IMHO - I think they should go out the way they lived life...BAMF brothers against the world, going down swinging...But that's just me :D

but the one thing i will hate to the end of time would be the 'DEUS EX MACHINA' end where they reset time, and it never happens...I will seriously kick my screen in, and curse the existence of the show....I'm not kidding...Or am I???

Thank you for the reply...YAY!!!  A new Buddy......

    0~o

Clingy much LOL.....OK...we'll start slow...Baby steps....

Nice to meet ya 'isleofskye <33

  78. "I hope they don't limit the portrayal of his Hell experience to a creepy horror feel that is over once Sam stops hallucinating. This was a lot more personal for Sam"

Assplain Buddy..C'mon, unload those thinky thoughts on me?

Also expand on Levi Hierarchy...I honestly saw them as another messed up family...Also, why do you think Crowley's the 'DaddyLevi'?

Me too about the black oil...Seriously it's like we share one brain LOL <33

  79. maybe i'm just being evil and douchy, but you should have ended your coment with "duh".

You are a better person than me for sure XD

    ReplyDelete
  80. That would just depend of how many time, storywise, goes between episode 3 and 4, or even, what span of time episode 3 will cover (a day? a week?) no way to know for sure until they air.

I wonder, ho many time did episode one cover? like a week give or take, I'm not sure. But anyway, cuts like that take their time to heal, I cut a finger like that once and they removed the stiches after a week.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I know, the jaw effect was how V 2009 should have done it. Because, really.

the CGI companny seems to be better at body morphs than scenery, cause the  whirlpool was alost as underwhelming as the dead angel's cgi wings. It made me cringe.

I liked how they brought Jody to connect the plots, I don't think i've seen them doing that before with another character if memory doesn't fails. And basically, I love Jody!

Lucifer!Dean was better than Lucifer!Sam, take that as you wish, jo jo.

And Bobby's house got the same fate as the Roadhouse, it doesn't surprise me, really. Now the boys are back on the road again with no place to go (they made the same "mistake" twice on the show, i really didn't care, but seeing them doing the same thing is kind of a turn off) The silverlining? maybe Bobby would move in with Jody (wink wink, nudge nudge) but the most probable is that he is gonna be forced to go underground :/ poor Bobby.

And totally agree about the pacing i'm liking it :D This episode was less action packed and slower, but it was necesary to set all pleayers on their places so the story can move on. And I think that they pulled it off pretty well.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Also, Dean threatheing to kill himself and his brother is so beautifully messed up and sick if you put in on perspective of real life, Clasic Supernatural!

    ReplyDelete
  83. YES YES YES to everything you said, especially what Lucifer alludes to...I bet there were collective shudders among those who watched...The shudders went round the world at that moment..Worse still...Sammy's reaction to it was my reaction, along with the "Bringeth the Brain Bleach" :((

No 'feathery friends' to fix their boo boos, but C'mon, Dean gets slammed full force into a wall...Nada...nothing.... but a windscreen....instant compound Fracture LOL, but Sam's head meeting that iron bar...Instant sympathy head trauma for me :((

But i love that Supernatural can get just the right balance between instant horror....chills everywhere.....Epic s**t and LMFAO....This episode did just that especially ....

'CreepyCootiesLeviCas' zombie shuffling off to assplode, and Lucifer with that poker...I wonder where he was gonna shov...BAD FANGIRL  Bad...Take a Timeout LOL

But i agree that Dean needs somewhere to aim his 'Ball of angst' in moments like this...Sam/Bobby know him so well...We do too LOL

    <33

  84. Hey, thanks for your sweet reply, nice to meet you too:-)

I agree, the worst ending of all would be for them to have dreamt it all while having fallen asleep in front of the telly, I would never be able to forgive such a
    pathetic finale!

I agree with you about the family BBQ thing, I think that the boys themselves have given up all hopes on that, and it wouldn't be a dramatic enough ending to such a series anyway.

The only thing I do want, is for them to go out together, enough of this separation garbage. Wherever they go, the open road, heaven or hell, they go as one!

Perhaps we could have them as the real God's secret weapon.
Whenever the Earth is in danger he sends down his free-will team of Sam and Dean, duly reincarnated into two little bros. ready to grow up and start all over.
Hmmm.... maybe a little too fan fictionish.....

However, I would like to have news of the absent God, just for the curiosity of knowing why and where he was all this time. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  85. The fisrt one was better, and i need Misha back, but this episode was pretty great

    ReplyDelete
  86. Hi :D

IMHO - I don't think he is...there was no Body which means no dead.....Also other Levi's kept talking about the 'bosses' orders, and 'DemolitionLevi' was specifically sent to off Sam/Dean...Also Bobby's house was torched..All personal things...I think all the Levi's were expelled but 'DaddyLevi' liked his new digs too much to leave...He's heal...hibernate and Levi up, and Surpriiiise Misha is 'DaddyLevi'....Also Cas is still in there, and he'll get his redemption eventually...Don't worry you'll see your Cas again later on...I'd bet my life on that :D

    *Hugs*

    <33

  87. * Especially when they just disappear like that.*

Thank you for pointing this out. Ben Edlund loves Castiel and there's no way he "end the character* with such a wussy ending (and this is from a fan who doesn't even like Cas). I firmly believe "Cas" will be back, maybe in the form of the Boss!Levi but I think the Winchesters and Bobby will find a way to separate Cas from the Levi or alternatively as Levia!Cas, Cas will find a way to fight his out even if he dies for real this time .

    ReplyDelete
  88. Hi :D

LOL yes....my my.... you do have a wonderful imagination <33

"The only thing I do want, is for them to go out together, enough of this separation garbage. Wherever they go, the open road, heaven or hell, they go as one!"

If i could marry this comment i would....Actually if I can give *cyber hugs* and *super glomps*...I can damn well marry this comment...HEEERE COMES THE BRIIIDE LOL we are now sanctified by the unity of marriage..till death us do part LMFAO :D

"Perhaps we could have them as the real God's secret weapon.Whenever the Earth is in danger he sends down his free-will team of Sam and Dean, duly reincarnated into two little bros. ready to grow up and start all over."

ARGHHHHH...the temptation is too much...i want to cheat with this comment...but i have to be faithful......arghhhhhhh i can't....Affair LOL

"However, I would like to have news of the absent God, just for the curiosity of knowing why and where he was all this time"

Yeah me too.....i do wonder where he's stashed himself, but just having GOD is the 'deus ex machina' to end all machina....A bit like 'Jesse the Antichrist'...Also God's the biggest 'Douchebag' in the history of supernatural...Bring on the reaping Death....Ah...Death there's a Baddy to end all baddies...He's able to make the boys crap their pants with one look LOL

    <33

    ReplyDelete
  89. Yeah i agree...The writers were going with a kinda 'Paradise Lost' Lucifer...And in that book/poem you spend half the book actually rooting for the bastard...and i really don't think the author intentionally wanted that, cause he was a very religious person :((

But in supernatural...Mark plays him with this underlying nasty streak, like he's almost sneering his words, so i never really bought his "Woe me" act...I think all Lucifer's facets are equally as fascinating, and he may not be the best baddie the show has had...Yellow Eyes still covets that title as "the fonz of evil" but no one can deliver a mind F**k quite like Lucifer can, which makes him very dangerous indeed <33

    ReplyDelete
  90. They could be building Bobby's character for something.  He's never had much family so those "parental" type situations are hard for an old drunk to handle.  He's never been one to powder someone's ass.

The creepy kids have always been a dichotomy for me. One part says waste 'em. Another part says wait.

Too bad the Leviathans can't exist in the small bodies for long.  It would be interesting to see how they would deal with an army of possessed kids.

As if it weren't interesting enough already!

Where's Jesse the Cambion when you need him?

    ReplyDelete
  91. I loved this episode sooo much .... BigBrotherDean is back and when Bobby told him in the kitchen , that if he wants to talk he would be there for him as always... that was heartbreaking ! I was so shocked to see Cas go like this ( he can`t be gone for good, not possible ... please) and later they destroyed Bobby`s house ;(  the Leviathans have to die for that ! Dean calling Bobby after he`d gone missing just showed again how much Bobby means for Dean, loved it!
Oh and Sherrif Mills was awesome ;)

    ReplyDelete
  92. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see CAS again HINT HINT

    Leviathan ROCKS MY WORLD!

Sammy ROCKS MY WORLD! Dean... AHHAHA depends. For the first time I actually like then equally its awesome. Dont care who gets the story im happy

    ReplyDelete
  93. Rocky, you're too funny. Sammy is going to have to wait for tomorrow. I'm two margarita in and typing on my phone, and I'll need a clear head for that one, but I can answer crowley now.

Two reasons - I don't think Crowley is really a demon and I never believed his rational for wanting the souls. Crowley was the ONLY demon to defy Lucifer. That says he was either secretly working for lucifer or was wired differently than other demons. There was some discussion here last spring about whether Crowley was a demon (fed by interview with Mark Shephard), and about why he's never had black demon eyes. He strattles being on heaven and hell's sides pretty effortlessly, so I think he's something older than Christian/ Judeo beliefs. This season is about the ancient creatures coming back, and I think Crowley is one of them.

Also, if Cas couldn't contain the souls for long, there's reason to think Crowley could either, and

  94. Amazing episode. Season 7 has started out in a very promicing fashion!!

    ReplyDelete
  95. no, i get that, but a broken leg takes months to heal, surley episode 3 or the gap between 3 and 4 isn't going to be months. i guess we'll have to wait and find out

i reckon episode one was about a week or a few days. then again, dean completely (basically) fixed the impala in that time so maybe more than a week?

    ReplyDelete
  96. i agree, for the first time since season 3, they are both my equal fave again!!! this season is already so much better than the last one.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I know, but the Levi looked better XD, so point for SPN

    ReplyDelete
  98. Personally, I think they're stronger than the angels. God created the beasts before he created the angels after all.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Dean still has a broken leg in The Girl Next Door... so, I agree with Jilly. I do think it was a convenient plot device to remove Dean from the episode more than usual because Jensen was directing. That was the first ep to be filmed after all. Ep 2, his leg broke at the end of the ep, but no cast.

    ReplyDelete
  100. It's very possible that the time-frame between eps 3 and 4 can take place for months. It's not unrealistic in TV world. We honestly don't know, but I don't see them keeping Dean in his cast for more than one ep. That would be way too hard on Jensen.

    ReplyDelete
  101. The pain part really got me wondering... just how far is Sam going to take inflicting pain on himself to remind him of what's real and what isn't? I recall Sera saying that while there would be a sort of resolution to Sam's issues, it would open up a whole new door to a whole new set of issues... what if Sam starts harming himself or something along those lines...? =/ Idk... just a theory.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Yeah, I like... legit cried in this episode. I didn't really cry once last season. Teared up, but didn't actually cry. When Dean was asking Sam if he could see Lucifer "right now" (after he and Bobby cared for Sam's hand), and Dean tells him "he's not real" and Sam says "He says the same about you" or something like that, seriously I was just all *wiping eyes* *sniffling* And then the same thing during the big bro moment when Dean talked Sam down, showed him what was a real and got the gun away. ♥

And yeah, I got further in depth in a conversation with a friend about what Lucifer did to him down there in terms of the "you're my little biiitch, in every sense of the term" and yeah... I'm almost convinced Lucifer raped Sam... physical rape, mind rape... *shudders* can't talk about it anymore...

Seriously... I'm going to miss Bobby's house SO MUCH!!! ;_; *sobs* And yeah... swelling on the brain terrifies me... it really does... what's going to happen to our Sam, Rochey!? *cries*

Ahahaha okay, well don't say I didn't offer! It could've been totally anonymous too. ;P *snorts and plays with wind chimes*

Thank you, thank you, and... not in the scouts either, but I'll take what I can get. ;D ♥♥

Best episode so far of this season (sorry out of last season 2) dreadful season ,season 6.But this it's supernatural at it's best rocked ma boat. If the written keeps going like this it could be my 2rd fav since season 5 who knows?. I just know that kicked ass and Dean and Sam bonded for the frist time in ages and Dean looking out for Sam again is magic . Loved Lucifer hope we see him again he's funny but scary !. The big bad .....well dean and sam have one hell of a fight on there hands as nothing can truely kill them .Cas *snif....sniff* but i know he'll be back .

    Rate it 9/10

    ReplyDelete
  104. bobby was in a wheelchair for basically all of season 5
but i get what you're saying, its deffinatley possible and the most likely solution that he'll be healed in the next 2 episodes time

    ReplyDelete
  105. Good episode! def not the last of Castiel ... and damn these Leviathans!

    ReplyDelete
  106. I guess that is what we'll have to endure for a while: watching Sammy hurting himself over and over again to determine what is real. And seeing Dean watching helplessly.
    I do hope they'll find a cure for Sam's hallucinations before mid-season.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Awesome.
I feel this episode deserves so much more then just awesome. It's Supernatural at it's best.
Were was that in season 6?

I agree with all the positive comments here, yes our show is finally back! We're back to the family drama and the horrors of having to fight an unknown enemy, finally!
I hope the TPTB can keep that up all season, then this will be one of the best seasons we ever had on Supernatural.

I can't wait for the next episode!

    ReplyDelete
  108. Yes, but that has no relevance to a broken leg. Bobby was unlikely to ever walk again until he made that deal with Crowley at the end of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Amazing ep so much angst and really scary moments, alot of suicidal tendancies and is Sam going to become a cutter have read fanfics with that idea. Mark scares the watsit outta me so good to see him back, good to see some really nasty monsters again a bit tired of angels and demons, but love Cas of course. I must be the only one that thought his demise was actually pretty moving and kinda biblical best deaths are always sudden and unexpected shock factor is good. Loving it and Misha playing what 3 different characters (god Cas, angel Cas and Leviathon) awesome acting. Keeping it true!

    ReplyDelete
  110. These episodes are back to back. Other episodes have had an indeterminate time between them. Possibly plenty of time to heal. Fixing the Impala took a while, but it may have been just a couple of weeks.

They did the same type of thing after the Impala crash at the end of Season 1. The boys still looked quite beat up for a couple of episodes.

I am totally looking forward to Winchesters in the hospital... even if there is a monster eating people there. That just adds to the thrill *yes, I'm twisted that way*.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I probably didn't communicate this very well, but my annoyance with Bobby was more about comments last season that Bobby is like a father to Sam when we just don't see that closeness on screen.  I thought Bobby's buck up pep talk to Sam was a little impersonal, whereas he was very personal with Dean.  I think Bobby is much closer to Dean than Sam, and it makes sense that Dean would have more of a need for a father figure than Sam.  It's OK for Dean to have his own friends like Bobby, Cas, Lisa & Ben, as long as Sam also has his own friends who help define his character, but I don't think that's been the case in recent seasons.  Sam's last friend was Ruby, and she wasn't much of a friend. I just don't like it when the show tries to gloss over the fact that Sam rarely interacts with outside people anymore on a personal basis by pretending that Bobby is like a father to Sam, or that Cas is like a brother to him, when that relationship is just not there.

To your second point, I love creepy kids too.  I feel like it's been done a lot already, so it's probably best not to have a kid army at this time, but an occasional creepy kid is fun.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Hi again,

On the hierarchy, I was thinking of the playground scene.  The demolition man seemed to be of a higher rank than the little girl Levi, who might have been of a high rank than the swim team Levis.

I'm trying to answer the Sam question, but I'm realizing that the most realistic scenario - that Sam goes through a PTSD process similar to what Dean did in seasons 4 and 5 - is something that I really don't want.  What I do think would be interesting to play with is Sam's control issues.  By nature he's someone who responds to stress by trying to take control of the situation.  It takes a lot of discipline to achieve what he did in college, and the health food choices are also a characteristic of a lot of self-discipline.  Someone who went through what he went through in Hell would be feeling very vunerable and have the need to take back more control in their lives.  Combine that with Sam's obessive, goal-oriented nature and you've got an interesting situation.  I'd also imagine that he'd have a lot of pent up anger toward Lucifer and the demons who got him there.  I'd like that explored and I'd like to see Sam finally get some pay back against Hell - maybe starting with Crowley since Crowley took advantage of him when he was soulless.

    ReplyDelete
  113. That is true although some injuries have been so bad that I'm surprised that the boys just  bounce back from them in the next episode. And Sam's cut hand was important to the storyline so that didn't heal completely even though in 7x01 there is clearly a few weeks because of Dean fixing the Impala. I guess my point is that the injuries that stay are important to the storyline. The only exception to this was Jared's broken wrist in S2 since he really did need to wear a cast for a few weeks they had to write it in for Sam.

YES!! Me too!! especially to see Sam in an actual hospital bed and being treated :D

    ReplyDelete
  114. My guess is the same thing happened to Dean as well. Ripping you apart day after day is bad of course, but my guess is they change it up so the victim doesn't get complacent or "used to it". It is a standard way of showing someone who the boss is... a true show of domination... We just haven't really talked about it in the show yet. I am OK with knowing about it, but not talking about it... I love hurt Winchesters, but permanently damaged Winchesters will break my heart... permanently.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Those photos are the only reason I am still alive! I looked at them right before the episode started and I still thought Bobby was dead... That was really too emotional for me. I have been waiting for Bobby to die every season since Season 2... and my panic becomes worse each year. Once they killed John I knew that nobody was safe. The more important he is to the boys, the more likely he is to die... They are just waiting until it will literally kill us all!

    ReplyDelete
  116. It was absolutely amazing! I loved it so much, I have great expectations of the episodes still to come :) Although I was very upset when I watched Dean pick up Castiel's trench-coat out of the water. That was very sad, though a recent tweet I have seen from Guy gave me hope. One of my friends tweeted him about how upset she was about the Cas situation and asked what his future would bring, to which he replied "I honestly don't know...They love him so I don't think his exit is very permanent".

    ReplyDelete
  117. It always bothered me how fast the facial damage disappeared after Shadow and Sam's sliced arms and blood loss were no problem in Jump the Shark. I wanna see healing and comfort to go with my hurt.... But, we get so little of it, I am happy to have a serious dose of it right now.

So far I have only seen clips and photos of Sam on a gurney... It looks like Dean is destined to be the "almost" desert for the Levi's.... Here is hoping Sam gets some time in that hospital bed with machines hooked up to him.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Oh totally. It isn't realistic and YES! I agree-- I really need to see some healing and comfort and we did have some of it in this episode and hopefully we'll get some more in the next.

I don't know how spoiled you are about the next episode but yes, it does seem that way...I second that hope!

    ReplyDelete
  119. WOW! That ep was amazing and WHAT happened to Cas? :O

    ReplyDelete
  120. That's my theory, too. Depending on if the show has MC back that is and if the show gets MC back he can one or more eps as BDLevi and then just Castiel and redeem himself more completely. If the show can't get MC back because he's signed to do another project that conflicts when the show wants the BossLevi to show up then the show fall back on the Levi's ability to morph into anyone that they touch and still can have "Cas" heal himself after the Boss exits him. There's lots of ways the show can bring MC back for one or more appearances assuming he's still available.

    ReplyDelete
  121. That's precisely the show needed to move from the Winchesters/Bobby having their new and improved friend, Castiel, to call on every they literally and figuratively speaking "stubbed their toes". Injuries up to including death meant nothing as long as Castiel was around.

This episode worked so very, very well in part because their injuries and Bobby's possibly lying seriously injured or even dead in the smoking rumble of his house were (finally) REAL and quite scary this time.

That's what the show has to back to, realistic feelings that the Winchesters and Bobby could die FOR REAL at any time. As Dean said in ATTWN "Ours lives are[can be] shorter than most".

At any time the hunter's life can be snuffed out by doing "the job" and there ain't no life insurance that covers "death, dismemberment or permanent mental disability" on their policy.

    ReplyDelete
  122. OMG, this show is getting so awesome all over again!!! I loved this episode just as much as the premiere or even more! LOVE how Sam's hallucinations are being interlaced with the whole Leviathan storyline, it all actually felt like a whole, not two different stories.

I love the Leviathans, finally we get some monsters which are actually scary. I love the mysteries, like, whatever happened to Bobby and Cas? Or what's gonna happen with Sam, for that matter. This season is totally gonna rock my world, I know it.

Oh, and I love the fact that Dean has kept Cas's trench coat <3

    ReplyDelete
  123. just one more thing, I wish the Levi had stayed in the little girl's body instead of taking the surgeon (I mean, I love the idea of the Leviathans passing as medical crew, but there's nothing creepier than a monster in a little girl's body). Would have been like Lilith 2.0.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Part of me feels they should burn the trenchcoat like they did John's body as a hunter's burial.

    ReplyDelete
  125. wow, I didn't even think of that! Now I think they should totally do it! but on the other hand, I want Dean to have something which would remind him of Cas. I'm sentimental ;P

    ReplyDelete
  126. I thought it was amazing! Lucifer was really creepy, Mark Pellegrino did great with the role, and of course Jared and Jensen were amazing as usual. Bobby's house, though! I almost wanted to cry about that. Poor Bobby, all of his stuff. His books! And everything else he owned! (What about the Panic Room? The walls were steel, right? It wouldn't have burned, then...?) And poor Bobby. Where is he?

I might be a terrible person for saying it but I'm kind of glad Cas is gone. For the moment. I'm dreading him coming back. He's a good character, and all, but I think it's time for him to exit the stage...he had a good run.

First two episodes have been awesome, cannot WAIT for next week, this season is off to an amazing start! I hope it stays that way!

  127. no, i wasn't talking about the time frame for healing, you said dean being a cast would be really hard on jensen so i was just pointing out that they put bobby in a wheelchair for basically an entire season.
    i get that they're different

  128. Right I get that, but Jim was able to get out of the wheel chair and walk around without having a giant, fake cast on his leg. Jensen probably had to keep it on for long periods of time filming. That would be harder having a cast clear up above your knee than it would being in a wheelchair.

  129. Much calmer now.  :-)  Can't even remember why my brain seized up.

It was nice to have, at least a little, of the rock soundtrack back.
So, the boys have collected Bobby, had an angel at one point,  at this point the really need a therapist/hunter.  Hee hee.

Thank you Bobby for calling Dean on his being fine. :-)  I heart Bobby.  Don't think he's dead.  I'm a soap opera fan...they ain't never dead til you see the body.  Then, most of the time they still aren't dead...or they have a twin.

The Leviathans have a really weird mix of what they know and don't know.   The whole extended Dr. Sexy thing...was really weird to me.  I got that she got the idea to head for a hospital, but  she kept talking about it like she never got the reality vs tav difference figured out.

I really didn't recognize the Sheriff.  It was still stupid of her to follow the guy sneaking a patient out of the room.   :-)

I love that Bobby is so calm.  Both his boys heads are exploding and he's just calm and sturdy.  Oh, and his checking out the autopsy...awesome.

When LuciDean walked into the house I was sure he was going to lure Sam to a location where he'd kill innocent people and drive him to suicide that way.    The empty building surprised me.  Sam had his dumb moment.  He didn't clue in on LuciDean when he started telling him he was a lost cause and that there was no hope?  Dead give away.  Sam should know better.

I liked Dean's speech to help Sam start figuring out real from hallucination, but I have to say that I really hope we won't be watching watching Sam do the crazy dance for the whole season.

Saw Bobby's house (well, as I watch again) and I'm thinking....ah....the Jenga game begins..and home is the first piece to go.  Does this mean it'll be episodes before we find out what happened to him?

I love that the boys are considered competent.

Ah, just remembered why my brain seized up....  Bobby's house.  The ambulance ride.  The previews.

  130. Agreed. He just oozed that "up to something-ness".

  131. This episode was alright.  I really enjoyed both Bobby's and Jody's participation in this episode.  It was nice to see a recurring character survive a trip to the hospital on this show without something horrible happening to them.  Other than that, meh.

I'll be glad when Sam's wall story is over.  I'm already tiring of it, since it has been lamentably predictable thus far.

  132. Great episode.  I agree, no way is Cas dead... his fate is being left open-ended for a no doubt spectaular return later in the series.

  133. even though this episode was heartbreaking in so many ways, real life has to catch up sometimes & it seems like the writers are gonna go in that direction, real life as in a hunter's real life!!
