    wow great episode to! I hope they bring back nick i dont think they would do that only 5 episodes in with a main character and i think his character would lead a good story mainly on how he might've seen diana and fayes parents killing him. Also by the looks of the next episode i dont know if i will like it as much because its like a d-episode: a denial episode where all the characters act bad and different after a horrific accident/event. Im not a big fan of those. Good job writers and cast!

    In my opinion, the best episode of the season. The parents are so confusing! I want to hate them for killing off Cassie's mother, but then they show deep remorse for killing off Nick.

    i missed the last 20 minutes cause my CW Channel froze and started skipping on me so i couldnt see it and had delete it ill have to find another way to watch it

    LOVED tonight's episode of the Secret Circle!
    Loved the scenes between Dawn and Charles - especially at the end when they were in the car!
    Loved Diana and Adam. I haven't been a big Adam fan, but that scene was HOT. Diana was SO HOT.
    This was my favorite ep yet, and now I can't wait for next week.

    Best ep of the season so far in that we finally got some serious forward movement in action and very nice to get the grandmother in on the secret/action as she can be a powerful resource/ally. Gotta admit that Dawn and Charles are a bit confusing as when I am convinced that they are totally nefarious, they seem to express deep remorse over Nick's fate... but can't forget that they killed Cassie's mother for a goal that I'm sure is less than noble....

    Did anyone else think Grandma was going to use the crystal to revive Nick, like Dawn did with Cassie's friend? What the hell happens to the circle regarding their powers now?

    I was wondering about the circle as well, they said they needed the 6 but will someone else take his place if he is actually gone? I hope we find out in the next episode. This was the best episode so far!!

    Well,that was a shock..And it seems from various articles that Nick's really dead.
    I don't know how I feel.The episode was better,darker,but I'm not sure I like the twist.I know that they like to kill their characters off,but it was too soon for me and Nick is an important character.Even in VD,you know that at least the main characters are safe.It's also weird cause during the week there was a spoiler saying that Nick and Cassie will come closer..Huh?!?!
    I wanted to follow the show,but I'm thinking about it.While keeping things suspenseful is good,I'm not sure I'm up for another show that kills the characters left and right.But that's just me..  : )

    and were not really sure if fayes mom was involved with cassies mothers death. All we saw was diana's dad kill her. Honsestly im my opinion i dont think she knows that he killed cassies mom. She would have mentioned something to diana's dad in private after.

    It's funny how I read the comments here and most of you people don't care or are not that bothered by Nick's death (my opinion too) and that you think it was the best episode so far (my opinion too) and when I read the comment on TV Line following an article justifying their choice of killing off Nick, 80% of the comments are hate ones directed to the writers, people saying they will stop watching the show, that Nick was too central of a character in the books (didn't read them, don't intend too, TVD books were too boring compare to the TV adaptation). I feel like I'm not sure what the public thinks about his death anymore!

    This was the best of the five episodes so far.

     - Weeks ago I was hoping this show would bump off Nick and they actually did it.  The Secret Circle gets a few bonus points from me for that.
     - I'm glad Cassie told her grandmother about the circle.  I'm not sure she can be trusted but it was the right (and sensible) thing to do.
     - At the beginning of this series, I thought that Charles was the really evil one but I could be wrong.  Dawn may actually be worse than him.
     - Melissa can't catch a break.  She finds someone for herself so she's not just Faye's sidekick, but he's possessed by a demon and then drowned.

    In the books, the circle consisted of 12 people so, if they want to bring in someone else as a replacement, they've got more characters to choose from.

    If he stays dead... some the promo pics have a new token blonde guy in them... but I never trust CW to keep dead people dead!

    Melissa actually did a pretty good job being possessed! I was both surprised and refreshed by her performance. Usually I dread her scenes.

    Agreed about Granma-gate. I know it's a secret circle and the girls shouldn't be gossiping about it, but sometimes you gotta bring in a ringer when dealing with supernatural powers. (I could only find a way to fit half the CW series in that sentence dammit! XD)

    Thanks for reminding me about Melissa.  I was wondering how JPK would handle a more difficult acting challenge (I've been on the fence about her performances) and she did a pretty good job.

    I watched this episode purely because the promo was so intriguing.  I didn't like the pilot and hadn't plan to check back in so quickly.  I thought it was a really good episode.  I was really happy to see Jane show her stuff.  Glad I checked it out.
