Awesome ep. Loved the "dysfunctional three musketeers" of Owen, Micheal, and Birkhoff and the humor that they injected in the ep:
"Don't give me the goatee of intimidation" (Birkhoff to Micheal) "You're small, you'd dissolve easily" (Owen to Birkhoff)
I liked that it seemed that Sean the Oversight agent seemed to show a bit of humanity/sympathy toward Alex and her feelings for Nikita when he advised her to take the shot with Nikia to prevent her from some potentially worse treatment from Oversight if she is ever caught. And the reveal that Owen is working with Gogol, hoping that it wont bite him in the ass, but we all know that it will....
Really liked. Was worried for a moment that they were doing the Owen betrays Nikita thing. Really happy he didn't. Loving having Birkhoff around. Did he get bumped to regular or just recurring? Those three have a great chemistry IMHO. Love Michael and Nikita as a couple/team.
I like the race to a goal format they've been doing so far but Alex being on the Division's side isn't working for me. But I don't see this season working with Alex working with Nikita. So I don't have any alternative to wish for.
This was a great episode except for the new guy (again). His advice is to kill Nikita so she doesn't suffer? Really? Gee, thanks for the indispensable wisdom (you idiot). The fact that they made this character a regular is already getting on my nerves.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Second episode and once again Alex looks stunning. And that woman was Julie McNiven wasn't she? She looks cute no matter what role she plays.
ReplyDeleteAs for the episode itself, I liked it. Alex really needs to decide which side she wants to be on, considering it seems to change every episode.
