Im shocked someone let alone 2 ppl would say this show was awful. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I thought the episode was excellent, definitely called it that the chick was going to be killed.
- The CIA "asset" died just like I thought she would and Carrie's reaction was just as predictable. - The scenes between Nick Brody and his daughter Dana were great this week. - I liked the continuing conflict between Carrie and her mentor Saul. - Another extremely uncomfortable bedroom scene between Nick and Jessica. Good lord, those scenes are really hard to watch. Great job by both Baccarin and Lewis for what I am sure are very difficult scenes to film.
It took me a while to watch this ep because I knew that poor girl was gonna die and I didn't want to see it. I was beginning to worry that Carrie would be too focused on her goal to care that her asset had died. (I hate that they've coined a term designed to dehumanize the people they use.)
The writing blows me away. The performances blow me away. I like that the daughter is being handled in a subtle and very real way. And using the necklace to deliver the money.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Another excellent episode, the hour just flies by
ReplyDeleteReally great episode, I like how the family stuff is being handled, could have easily been boring but thankfully isn't

ReplyDeleteGreat episode. This show is getting better week after week.
ReplyDeleteJust such a brilliant series.
ReplyDeleteThe family dynamic is great and feels real compared to many shows, but they way they use it to show various sides and secrets of Brody is awesome!
It was alright.
