I didn't love or hate this episode. I liked the Chuck/Dan/Nate, Serena/Ivy, and Blair/Dorota/Princess Sister stuff, but I also spent a helluva lotta time resenting the heck out of DB. I want Chuck/Blair and Serena/Blair, and I don't care if that makes me a whiny baby! Hopefully they'll find out about Blair's pregnancy next week and have some awesome reactions.
Chuck and Blair: Chuck unable to feel because he has lost Blair. He loves her so much! Blair believing that Chuck doesn't love her anymore, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Blair said she had sex 100 times with Louis and only 1 time with Chuck! That is fate...Folks! I love the way fate always brings Chuck and Blair back together! Also like how Blair said the baby was conceived in love. Proves that she still loves Chuck.
Dan and Blair: Like the way they are establishing Dan as her friend (From her point of view) and not her lover or boyfriend. Dan is the person that Blair is turning to in times of stress, not because she is in love with him. I eventually think the "Love" that Dan has for Blair will bite him in the butt. I also thing Blair is going to lie to Chuck about the paternity of the baby and Dan will know about. That will bite her too!
What I hated:
Louis- Everything having to do with that! - Just don't care!
Chuck/Dan/Nate was awesome. Serena/Ivy and Nate/guest star were pretty boring. Missed Serena/Blair and Chuck/Blair badly, I'm glad Dan/Serena at least had a conversation though. I hope to God every episode doesn't have this much Dan/Blair, because there's no way I'll keep watching. Oh, and Blair/Louis is almost worse, if that's even possible.
Kinda' okish.Nothing really special. Dan was annoying as a stalker to Chuck and Blair and it's going to get old really fast. I wanted a Serena and Blair and would have loved a Chuck and Blair scene so that's pretty annoying. It just doesn't feel like GG without these pairings interacting.
It was very average. Usually I find something in episodes I can rewind and watch again, but it's also usually Chuck and Blair scenes. Last years first two episodes were much more interesting to me. These are falling flat without Chair. Just not enough GG.
I really liked the scenes with the boys. It works great when they put Chuck and Dan in scenes together. And the bathroom scene was nice. Charlie/Ivy still really annoys me
Loved the "I'll still be there" scene at the loft in the ending.
Not you! This season feels really boring and Danning down the show doesn't help at all. I hate the episode. Dan made evry character he interacts with, boring. They have to stop with this contrived fakeness.GG is not the GG we all love with a Queny elitist classist bitchy manipulative Blair..She needs to come back. Blair is Danned down and now its Chuck's turn
you're right. dan is sooooo boring - sorry for the people who likes him. i really think the writers should kill him to make the story move. they need action !
- Ivy is so screwed. She had a great opportunity to come clean and didn't. Now she's dug herself a really deep hole. I feel sorry for her ex-boyfriend too. The only thing Ivy has in her favor is that Serena is being extremely gullible about this situation.
- Dan is still a sap. He's nuts if he thinks he can just be friends with Blair. I'm sure something will go wrong sooner rather than later.
- Chuck needs to take the advice he was given and seek medical help. Then find a good shrink.
- After one episode, Louis' sister has already proven to be a more interesting character than her brother and the actress is much better than the actor playing Louis too.
- The "shameless mimbo" version of Nate is actually fun to watch for a change.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I only like the ending scene that's it

ReplyDeleteI love that Chuck and Blair still love each other!
ReplyDeleteHated: No CB, no SB, Deconstruction of the Original relationships and the Dan and Blair crapfest. It is time to move on!
I guess you do have to in fact make a mess before you can clean it up!
It was okay. It really needed a Chuck and Blair scene.
