    Love the dynamic between Nina and Walter in this timeline! Too much fun!! XD

    I love the fact I Peter popped out of where ever he was... or popped into synch in our timeline at Reiden Lake. I was wondering if I had missed the Observer, but he was just busy waiting for Peter to "arrive"!

    This was a needed episode for certain, but if not for Peter returning I would say it was just "good". Add in the return on Peter and this goes up to a Great episode.

    I think this is another one that will get better as I watch it again. The callbacks to past episodes and the Easter eggs will pop out more and fill in some awesomeness.

    Next week's promo was mind-blowing!
    It renews my hope that this year will be as good as last season (after a few mediocre episodes this year) now that Peter is back and the myth arc can resume.

    I KNEW it was Olivia doing it bringing the blue light without realizing it. It was Peter all along and she used perception to bring him back. She can't remember him but she went with her intuition. GOD this ep was great. They've been better and better each week. AND THAT PROMO?! I was making so many noises. Also Peter came back in Reiden Lake where he "died" in this timeline. Ah, symbolism.

    I was really excited to see how they would handle his sudden reappearance. It seems like the old timeline is gone for good and only exists in Peter's mind. It'll be interesting to see if the others remember it later because then both timelines would exist for them. Fauxlivia will remember a child she never had and both Livs will remember a relationship with Peter they never actually experienced. Or did they? I guess it is all a matter of perception.

    I've never hated seeing the credits more - what an excruciating cliffhanger. I loved the episode. I was a bit confused on some aspects. Cameron's remark upon Olivia "doing this to herself" was interesting. I think the general implication is she pulled Peter back, and probably because she can pull herself through realities, but it's a bit sketchy to me. I want to know what Walter made of it, what he may have been withholding, and the mechanics of Peter's return. I'm sure that will be explored later.  However, the whole concept would also explain why Peter's Terminator Time-Travel impression happened only around Olivia, and not Walter, whom he loves equally and has been psychologically plaguing for the last few weeks. The parallel between Olivia's intuition to not destroy Peter and Walter's madness was beautiful, as was the dynamic between Olivia and Walter. We've never seen this before.

    Two week wait, though. Blimey. Waiting nearly 6 months for Peter and getting one sentence out of him before a break = Classic FRINGE.

    That's one of the parts of the season I have been looking forward too. Once Peter is back how does the timeline change... if it does at all.

    Will the resolution be to get back to the "original" timeline? 
    Will they bring him into this current timeline and move on from here? 
    As Peter integrates into their lives do the two timelines start to meld together... altering the old line and new timeline to basically form a third? 

    Even though I have enjoyed seeing how Peter's removal has affected the characters and the timeline... THIS is when the season gets interesting on a whole new level for me.

    On top of all that, now the myth arc starts to enter the picture again!

    One random thought.... where is Sam Weiss?

    The glyph's spelled out "RESET" so I really wonder about the timeline too! The way Peter affected time as a blue blobby thing makes me think perhaps the more he is integrated into their lives, the more the old reality will return? Clearly he is affecting time somehow. I kind of hope the reset stays, as long as all the characters remember, or become aware of what once was (I just want to keep alt-Broyles and Lincoln around).

    I loved the episode story and Peter's dramatic entrance, but when they got to showing more things different in this reality, it really confused me. I was able to figure out how Alt-Broyles could have survived without Peter existing, but other things are not as clear to me (perhaps I need some more time to process).

    1)Why is Walter on bad terms with Nina?
    2)Why is Olivia on good terms with Nina?
    3)How did Cameron remember Olivia without being awaken by ZFT like Nick Lane, Susan Pratt, Nancy Lewis, James Heath, and the others? (I'm excluding Simon Phillips because he dropped out of the trials)

    Also, why did Olivia say Walter has not left the lab in 3 years when he was on Liberty Island in the season 3 finale? (Unless she's calling the bridge room to be a "lab" as well, and Walter was sedated before being moved over there, and thus not really "leaving" a lab)

    Yeah that's a tricky glyph message to interpret...

    Is it referring to Peter returning and resetting things or is it referring to the current reset from the season finale last year?

    My first thought was the current reset but since they used the word during Peter's return episode I can see it being about resetting this timeline we have been in for 4 episodes now....

    The only, only think that I didn't like about this otherwise uber-awesome episode, was the ending dialogue between Peter and Olive, It wasn't shocking at all.

    Obviously Olivia didn't remebered him, for me, it would heave been better if she asked "who are you?" and he just smiles.

    But otherwise, BEST ep of the season.

    I agree!I was so upset by the dialogue!Seriously? "Olivia,thank God you're here?"I was expecting at least him running to give her a hug!

    Quick question,does peter remember what he's been through the last 4 weeks?Does he remember Olivia helping him "reform"?Because before she fires her gun he smiled at her!Does he remember hunting Walter?calling his name & calling for help?Does he remember all those things because if he does he knows they don't remember him,he knows it's a different timeline.

    I definately loved Walter.He is so awesome.And it was so sweet to see Olive reach to him.(I definately LOVED the scene at the place (?)--what were they drinking?I don't think we have those here!At least I've never had one!It looked good!!!---I'm so sorry he hasn't been out of the lab in 3 years.I'm so sorry Peter wasn't there to accompany him.When he was walking among the people,clearly terrified,i remembered when he went to a fringe event scene by taxi and accused Peter of not trusting him and following him...How different things are now...

    As for Cameron,honestly,I didn't like his storyline.I mean "Bad dreams" was a thousand times better than this one!

    I just...I  guess I still need time to accept the new reality.i HATE that we don't know so much and I HATE that so important events and episodes have never actually happened!
    I'm one of those who wish to go back to the old timeline or maybe the two timelan collide with everyone remembering BOTH REALITIES!

    Question:how the hell did Olivia turn out with nina?Because the first thing that comes to mind is that when Olivia escaped from the trials bell and Nina adopted her (they might have gotten married even!)...Now that is quite interesting!

    So "OK" generally for the episode and "Awesome' for Walter and Olivia bonding and of course Peter coming out of the lake!I did not see that coming for sure!One of the best parts of the episode!!! I guess that makes final rating "great"

    The worst thing is that we're gonna have to wait 2 weeks due to a stupid baseball game as a kind informed me here!They should consider giving international viewers the episode (we don't have a game here!) and you can watch it next week!

    You don`t have to be genius to figure out that Peter was the blue cloud. I think everyone knew it. I agree with everything you said, though. I can`t agree about the Winter`s tale cause I haven`t read it yet. But I hope one day I will.

    I think no one expected Peter to appear at Raden Lake. But when the sign appeared on screen I laughed out loud. That was genius :-D. It`s clear this episode was written by Pinkner, Wyman and Goldsman. It has that kind of "epicness" that`s typical for their style of writing.

    For what it seems right now this episode can top Etranda in this poll :-D. Nice to have Peter back. Now it`s gonna be REALLY exciting :-D

    One of the best S4 epi's so far! The way they lead the "Peter Come Back" to a  watery climax was simply O_O! I loved every single bits of it The Root beer Flood scene between Walter and Olivia was almost a father and daughter-ish ♥!

    Peter coming back and everything obviously wasn't a shock but by god the performances of Anna Torv and John Noble once again blew me away. So much added depth and emotion in both Olivia and Walter. 

    I'm so intrigued by how Nina fits into their lives, Olivia mentioned running away and of course we know she killed her step father at some point - I wonder if Nina took her in. Nina and Walter's obvious hate for each other was certainly surprising hah. It seems like Bell is still dead in this universe I wondered how his demise happened and whether Nina blames Walter or vice versa

    Every episode just keeps getting better and better.  I loved the way Peter was brought back, but I have to say, my favorite thing about this episode was the dynamic between Walter and Olivia.  Their scenes were just beautifully acted.

    There are 2-3 people who consistently vote "awful" for every episode.  I suppose that a person could have though that was an awful episode, even though I don't see how anyone could feel that way.  I'm thinking that it's probably people who just don't like Fringe in general, which is kind of lame.

    I thought the episode was great! But I am confused about the reality and/or the nature of the timeline(s)...

    Olivia says that Walter hasn't been out of the lab in 3 years...

    So either:

    1. It's 2014 (3 years later than 2011 which is when it was the when the machines were turned on in the other universes...

    2. It's 2011 still, but the machine was now turned on in 2009...and somehow all of the Fringe events that have in some way repeated from the previous timelines, happened during and/or before 2009, because I thought Olivia said that she lost John also 3 years ago....because it would have to be turning on for those same reasons...or have the reasons not happened yet?---see next number.

    3. This episode got into something similar that LOST did in "Because you Left" and "Follow the Leader"...It's like cassimar effect is creating time folds (repeated memory as "filler" to link bits of time together)....when Peter tried to reach out to Olivia time was "normal", but then it reset a few minutes back...Walter was able to see what was going to happen to Olivia before it happened from the feedback...Walter later mentions something like we could see the effect before the cause... and so I have to wonder if this reality is all jumbled up for some reason? this also suggests that there is still at least short term pre-determination as well...but maybe Peter "makes" it that way?

    3b: -The reality is distorted and caused a type of amnesia to the events of the Machines and no one "really" knows how or when it was turned on...they don't quite remember being there...going with the 'events before the cause' maybe there are loads of things that have happened, but the explanations are "lost" until Peter arrives...

    4. --but thinking about Peter and machine and last weeks boy Aaron and "Gus", I have to wonder if this reality isn't the reality Peter was trying to return to????? -If he went to a random parallel universe(s) because that Olivia and that Walter is SO SO sad? --and he needs to network it back onto the reality he left behind...Obviously the biggest problem with that is that the Observers are acting like this reality continues from the previous one, but who's to say that this is just something they were dealing with some other time and it just "appears" that way simply because this is what happens to Peter every time he uses the machine....he gets lost in time, but he is also networking time??? 

    4b.--but it would be weird if this new realty was actually created/existed BEFORE the one(s) we have seen (seasons 1-3)??? and he just could do it because there are "other" machines turned on there???    and he had to go back there to finish something...Thinking of Felicity here (felieicy is in the same reality/time line all the way till the last 5 episodes...she travels to the past and the reality is altered...she eventually finds a way back to the future, but the kicker is that in the final scenes we learn that the reality she returned to isn't the original reality she came from, as a character that was dead is alive and with a former boyfriend) ...I could see 4b being the case....but whatever it is there is something not simple or right with it!!
    oh and now I see what next 4x06 title is ...it def goes along with "because you left"....

    Amazing!  Every episode this season just gets better and better!

    A few things I noticed *SPOILERS*

    -So not only is Olivia on good terms with Nina but she's known Nina for a good part of her life!
    -Looks like Walter and Nina are NOT on good terms.  Wonder if that has to with William Bell or the fact that Walter still went through the portal and decapitated her arm 25 years ago.
    -Olivia remembers the cortexiphan trials!  I'm also wondering if the night she ran away was the night she was supposed to meet Peter in the white tulip field.
    -Olivia says she has never met any of the other cortexiphan kids until now.  So does that mean that Nick Lane and all the others are still alive and were never activated?  Is David Robert Jones still in the German prison?
    -Walter says that the doses were so low that no children exhibited signs after 24 hours. Was he lying or what changed?
    -We all knew that the blue energy was Peter but the way they brought him back was AWESOME!
    -Was the photo on her nightstand of her niece and sister or was that Olivia's mom?  If so that means her mom is alive in this timeline... I couldn't tell but it just didn't look like her sister to me...

    I really enjoyed this episode! I'm delighted to see Peter back finally, though it's interesting that he seems to have no clue that everyone else has forgotten him (as evidenced by his closing dialogue with Olivia). This means that either he doesn't remember everything that he witnessed while being around Walter and Olivia for the past four episode, or that he actually couldn't really see what was going on with them and was just yelling for help.

    I also really liked the new dynamics between Walter and Nina and Olivia and Nina. It's obvious that Walter and Nina have some very bad blood between them for some reason, and I wonder has it anything to do with the fact that Peter died on Walter's rescue mission this time round. Also, it is obvious that Olivia and Nina have some different history in there this time: it's obvious from Nina's conversation with her that she's know Olivia for years, well before she joined the FBI.

    Overall, I'm really looking forward to next week's episode, can't wait to see more of Peter!

    I happened to notice a few things: The hallway that Olivia, Nina, and Astrid walked down in Massive dynamic was the same one but repainted for the Cameron James apartment hallway. The pillar jutting out gave it away. In both Olivia just about ran into it. I also noticed the Hospital room where Peter was hanging out had the same corner that Olivia's apartment has, just a door added.  Both were painted the same color.  

    Now I don't know how significant this stuff is, but upon first thought, I'd say it was just a case of re-using sets and set dressings. But one could think there is something to it too.

    Dang Girl!!! Honestly I think it's just a continuity error.  or not even really that, but more like; a figure of speech. I'm sure she wasn't counting the time they all had to go to liberty island. I'm guessing she just meant this is the first time in three years you have decided to leave the lab yourself, without being made to. 

    I can only speculate on how and why these Fringies went to liberty island. I'm assuming their machine came on much like it did in our timeline, then Olivia mentioned that over their's machine was on Liberty Island so Walter came up with the same idea he had of Quantum Entanglement this time too. This was in effect a reason to force him to leave the lab, considering the fate of the universe was at stake, so he did so. Bur other than that little hiccup I'm guessing he never left the lab.

    Or you could be onto something here...

    Before reading the comments, I wanted to add my two cents while the episode is still fresh in my mind.  First off, I am more excited about next week's episode than I have been for any episode after the premiere.  I genuinely felt sorry for subject 9 and I think the actor did a great job.  I was a bit confused about the nature of Olivia and Walter's relationship because they have been going back and forth between close and it being just a business transaction.  Olivia seems gruff with most others but she's got a calm, affectionate rapport with Walter that seems more than just trying to keep the nutso professor working on her cases.  

    Walter and Olivia were both very intense today.  I've never seen Olivia so jumpy and Walter's germaphobe meltdown was gripping.  It's been interesting to analyze how both characters have been changed by Peter's absence in their lives.  Astrid too.  I love the idea of Nina being a surrogate mother to Olivia but can't help but think this is going to turn nasty soon, especially with Nina's "we're not responsible for the consequences of our inventions" philosophy.  Is it possible that Nina kept experimenting on Olivia after Walter's trials were ended?  This whole new relationship intrigues me.

    However, the best by far of course was Peter returning.  I'm excited to see him and cannot wait to see what happens when he explains who he is.  Those promo pictures with Peter relaxed while everyone else is freaking out has me anticipating that scene far more than any episode stills ever should.  I think I'm going to have to watch Fringe live this week instead of dl on Saturday.  It looks that good.

    I can't wait to see how they react to what Peter tells them.  I'm really looking forward to the scene this picture comes from - probably more than anything else all year.  Even though they have seen some crazy things through Fringe division, it has to be hard to believe that everything you remembered and experienced is a lie.  Or at least only one truth.  I wonder who accepts what Peter says first and how/when they inform the alterverse of Peter's existence.  Walternate will explode.

    Alt-Broyles is a must for me too.  I like him better than his counterpart.  I think they will have to meld both timelines together as it seems unlikely that one will simply not exist anymore.  I hope it doesn't take long to get Peter fully integrated back into the team.  One of my favorite parts of the show is Peter and Walter's relationship.

    Going to copy/paste a post I made on Tumblr because it fits well here too. It seems there is still some confusion about Peter being "erased" so I tried to explain it...Everything after the third paragraph is my speculation so feel free to skip that lol.

    "Okay, so Peter is back. He has appeared in a timeline where he died
    as a child by emerging from the lake where he died. Symbolic, no?
    Anyways, Peter has full recollection of a timeline that never happened. His relationship with both Olivias is gone. The product of one of those relationships(Henry) is gone.


    Imagine there is a pattern and someone plucks a thread out of it.
    That changes the overall pattern in a small way. You might not even
    notice it at first but as you get closer to where that thread was you
    notice a bunch of differences in the threads around it. That is the
    world without Peter.


    My theory for where he was: After his thread was pulled from the pattern Peter existed in the space between the threads. He was outside of the timeline but not outside of time. If that makes sense.


    Now, there are a few ways the writers could go with his return:


    1.) Everyone will start remembering things now that
    Peter is back or they’ll do something to help them remember. Imagine
    Olivia remembering this amazing relationship that never happened.
    Imagine Fauxlivia remembering the birth of her child that no longer
    exists. The sense of loss would create some really good drama. Walter
    would remember a time when he could leave the lab by himself for walks
    and trips to the store but he has never experience those things in this
    timeline.


    You could go even further with this idea by having non-central
    characters remembering and behaving strangely because of it. Who is to
    say certain people wouldn’t remember dying in the previous timeline? If
    someone was murdered in a previous timeline would that sense of betrayal
    be so strong that they would feel compelled to retaliate or, in their
    mind, prevent their death in this one?


    These things raise some important philosophical questions too. Will
    they even accept that these things happened to them? Or will they try to
    say that those events didn’t matter because as far as they’re concerned
    they happened to yet another alternate version of themselves? It’s all a
    matter of perception and different characters could come down on
    different sides of the issue.



    2.) They could erase the old timeline altogether. No
    memories. Nothing but Peter and his memory to preserve it. I don’t see
    this happening but it is a possibility to keep the reset going. I think
    this is what The Observers will try to make happen. They’re very
    interested in ensuring that the old timeline stays erased.



    3.) The timelines begin to merge and they have to
    stop it. This could create a lot of chaos for the Fringe team to clean
    up and would be a rich area to explore. Maybe the only way for everyone
    to remember Peter is to allow them to merge but the consequences would
    be too severe? That would be fun.



    As you can see number one is my favorite. I’m sure there are other
    ways they can go that I’m not thinking of at 2am and I’m also sure
    they’ll surprise the hell out of us.

    Loved the episode!  Awesome!  Peter's return, some interesting interaction with another of the cortexiphan kids, brilliants(!) acting by John Noble, and loved seeing the bond and dependence Walter has with Olivia.

    I am just starting to think that he didn't reset the timelines, as much as he reset himself in time....I am thinking that maybe he has to converge the memories of both alterations......or he has to go back and make "a cause" for an outcome we have yet to see----I also had this issue with Desmond in "The Constant" --I could never prove if his memory just became "blank" in spots and he went back and just "got his memories back", or if he went to another version of himself's 1996 and made that reality (memory) relate to his current one...but I always believed it was the second one...

    It might be an error or something, but IMO their being too quite about it....

    Agreed! Even though this Olivia is a bit more mysterious or reclusive than our other previous version, I def will say she relates and takes care of Walter better. It was nice to see them share so much screen time. (:

    I think I am in the minority on the continuity topic here....

    Knowing that the timeline has changed or shifted since Peter was removed allows me simply to accept that the events we saw unfold for 3 years may or may not have happened at all in this timeline. So saying he has not been out of the lab in 3 years does not conflict with the Liberty Island event at all since that event was in the original timeline....

    The various Fringe cases could have happened in a different chronological order than we saw in the first 3 seasons, they could have happened in slightly different ways, they could have happened in very similar ways but still have different outcomes, or of course they may not have happened at all.

    I personally don't think knowing how every Fringe event happened in this timeline is important or at least not as important as just knowing events have been altered in general. 

    I think they will toss out a lot of callbacks and mention various cases as "inside jokes" for the fans, but that is not because it is necessarily important in the grand scheme of things. I think it's more just a shout out to the detail obsessed fans and meant to be entertaining more than informative.

    That said, I do wonder how the machine was turned on, by whom and when it was turned on....

    I think much of that will come out as they get more into the myth arc and and where Peter has been and how Peter returned.....

    That's a very good point!

    If Peter fell through the ice and died, we can assume September never introduced himself to Walter. 

    So many of September's appearances have been course correcting after the Reiden Lake event....

    If not for that event, perhaps September has been more inconspicuous in this timeline and not on Fringe's radar....

    There hardly are any polls without some awful votes...
    Nevertheless for me it wasn't amazing at all, I voted OK. Then again I'm also not a huge fan of the show. For me it simply failed to make me care about any characters (except for Charlie who was killed off and the Olivia in the other universe who's way more interesting than "regular" Olivia). So one of the more interesting things about Fringe for me is the big myth arc and there wasn't much to that in this episode. For me it's been pretty much clear from the beginning that this energy is Peter trying to get back and basically that's all there was. A few additional info was given, but not a lot actually. Also the way Peter came back was rather strange to me, why did he appear in that river?
    The last scene was also incredibly predictable. So that was just an OK episode in my opinion, because it mainly was stretching out a predictable outcome for an entire hour.

    Peter turned on the machine. It was the Peter we saw last night that did it. in another comment I made this long ass theory but I'll try to relate it here in a more concise manner.

    Peter saw a potential future in "The day we died" that made him rethink his original decision to counter the destruction that Red Walter started, with his own brand of destruction. 

    In seeing this potential future he found out that in fact He and Blue Walter and company were the first people. This is how the machine got hidden in time in the first place so that in and of itself is a paradox/loop that needs to be closed. Walter even alluded to as much. This is where I believe Peter has been.

    So in so many words; I believe what happened is that 2011 Peter, whose consciousness was brought forth in 2026 realized he had to take the machine back through the wormhole to complete the loop, this coincided with what he did in the machine just 15 years prior to make him in effect disappear from existence. But we find out this season that the Observers are behind this as well, and that they seem to have been the architects or at the very least the draftsmen of this plan, and they are there to see it through, no matter how many iterations it takes. 

    Now part two of this is that by having taken the machine parts back in time, and due to the Observers retro actively "erasing" Peter by basically returning to that moment in time when they first rescued him and just simply not rescuing him this time, they created a new timestream. 

    Now in Physics we know that you cannot go back into a known timestream and change anything significant. This is also know as "the Grandfather Paradox" but we also know that in the physics of this show there are multiple universes, and string theory is at play. So that takes care of the "Grandfather Paradox" because by going back in time and killing your grandfather you can continue to exist in that new stream you just created but you as you know yourself will never be born, yet you do continue to exist and therefore basically take the place of your Grandfather in a way but not necessarily. In other words you are stuck there. 

    Now taking all of this into account and realizing that The Observer is following you through this journey and willing to make it possible for you to at least get back into you right time period. You will find out that although this may be possible, that in fact this correct time period is one that is totally different because in it you ceased to exist either at all or to a point.  

    Does this make any sense?

    I agree with a lot of what you said since I felt the same way myself. IT was a good episode but not great really... except for Peter returning. That raise it one level to great for me. The actual MOTW was bland though.

    Peter surfaced in Reiden Lake not a river. Reiden Lake is one of the more important locations in the mythology of Fringe. It was where Walter crossed over to get Peter the first time and where Peter fell through the ice and would have died if not for September's interference. Of course Peter actually did die at Reiden Lake in this current timeline.

    -It was also the spot Jones and his team used to cross over since it was a weak point between the two universes due  to it being the first large rift.

    My theory is this:
    Nina said that she used to play with Peter when he was little and I that's what brought Walter and Nina close, their mutual care for Peter. Without him, there was nothing to bring them together and make them see eye to eye.And also, without Peter Nina played with Olivia when she was little instead. And continued to care for her as she grew up.
    About question 3, I don't know what you mean. Didn't the other cortexiphan kids always remember Olivia?

    The first part about Peter bringing the machine (or pieces of the machine) back through I agree with and always figured... 

    The part two about how he turned on the machine does not sit as well with me I guess.The Machine being hidden in time I had not thought of... It answers some things, but does not sit right with me either.... That's not to say I don't think that you're right... just something does not connect with me or seems a bit off still. Some missing connection I cannot put my finger on either in your theory or in my mind. XD

    Either way... interesting......

    I was interrupted as I was writing this by everyone and their mother, and unfortunately lost my train of thought but basically iterations is what it comes down to. Lets say what we know was the 1st iteration that would make that Peter, Peter#1 Right. 

    So the second iteration basically begins at that point where Peter ceases to exist. In the Machine room. They then have a clean slate, but the Observers had to go back and let Peter 2 die so that they could bring Peter1 forward to complete their plan. By letting Peter2 die upon their reach back into the past they essentially changed the timestream to exclude Peter2 and any potential influence he would have had in this new iterations past. But September seems to need this particular Peter, that being Peter1 (for reasons we know not yet) So he has brought him out of the past of this new iteration, forward to now, but it ain't Kansas anymore because this Peter is totally foreign to everyone.  

    Loops, iterations, time transcendent bald beings, and string theory. Made this all possible. They let Peter turn on the machine then hit pause and rewound to the point of his salvation and let him die, then hit pause and returned to the Machine moment with it turned on and hit resume now Peterless.

    When Astrid and Olivia walked in and Walter was sitting there with his suitcase in his lap I felt so bad for him.  I thought he was prepared to get shipped back to the hospital.  I wasn't surprised that the conversation about the form wasn't put off. 

    I knew from the promo that this was a 'return of Peter ep.' and I'm thrilled it was.  I was worried they were going to drag it out.  I loved the character bits in this ep.  Walter and that form hanging over his head.  Olivia and her fear about what was happening and taking care of Walter.  And Cameron...his reaction to Walter was kinda heartbreaking.  It got me to wondering about the other kids we saw before Peter never existed.   Are they just as bad off now?  (if they are Cameron isn't the worse off.)

    Next week looks really interesting.  Awesome.

    This also makes sense!! But it still screws up that final scene and/or when we are, or when everything happens, which don't get me wrong could be a good thing!

     I still will always wonder why only one Peter in general.

    I am also not sure if the Observers know what they are doing....December seems pretty intent on the idea of 'no Peter at all'....But I agree that September might have a plan!

    I still think there are events in this timeline he has to set up....or he has to bring them to the moment he left (<--this idea really gives me a head ache since their machine is turned on)....but it could work like an FS...

    Just adding my thoughts on this episode. Brilliant as usual from everyone. The way relationships have changed is very interesting - Walter not liking Nina - that scene was hilarious but I hope we find out the source of Walter's animosity. I'm also really curious about Olivia and Nina's relationship - it's gone from wary and distrustful to warm and affectionate. Walter calling Astrid 'Claire' - to be fair he had a lot on his mind. But easily the best relationship was Walter and Olivia - loved every scene with these two especially the root beer scene. John Noble and Anna Torv need to win many, many awards. I hope with Peter back, we don't lose this relationship - I adore it. As for Peter...the Reiden Lake thing was so unexpected and awesome. And I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to last two weeks to see how that cliffhanger is resolved. It's going to be agonising!!

    Well there have been some rumor type speculation going around the blogosphere that maybe Peter is still a child and in the hospital from his disease and has never awakened. Thus all of this is in his dreams. Could explain quite a bit, but what is the payoff from that, as interesting as it may seem?

You go to other sites and it's people fighting over screen time of the actors. I love that people out there actually think about the amazing story-lines this show gives us and choose to discuss it in an adult way. That's why I love this site!

    Ohh thanks, never heard that one, but I like it! And it would explain alot of stuff, however the whole it a dream is the biggest cliche around, and it would meaning that the whole series would effectively not have happened. But if any writing team could pull it off it would be fringe. As when I heard about the pregnancy story line well beforehand I though it had the potential to be terrible but I though it worked well and really help soften Fauxlivia. One of my biggest concerns for the ending is that the producers, writers may be rusted into finishing the series and it will not be great payoff from it

    A few of the Fringies here have said the same thing. I know DarthLocke4 has read at least the first one. I myself have not read them yet but want to. How much are they? Money is tight for me right now due to sudden unemployment. I too was hoping that maybe STV would at least give a review or even a recap of them. And maybe they have but I missed it if they did.

    The two 'digital' ones that just came out this past month (on the DC website) are only .99 each. The first one that has the 'A' storyline left me with this reaction, 'Wo!' And the 'B' storyline was pretty darn good too. A new one comes out this Friday and it's again an 'A' storyline one. I've also read the hard editions that came out when the show debuted and then a year later. I highly recommend those as well - give a lot of back story on the characters. But the digital ones right now go with the storyline we're seeing.

    I haven't purchased the first of story B yet, but it sounds cool! ---I think all of the FRINGE comics def offer magor food for thought in regards to the whole series...I mean even the prequel comics and the time machine story arch just so beautifully ties into seasons 3 and now 4...

    I talk about all of the comics in the forum all the time, but I usually don't get too many responses or diaolgue about them going on. I don't know if it's just the forum readers haven't read them or are interested in reading them....but it would be cool to get more people to discuss how we think the stories relate to things presented in the show itself....

    I might just be an idiot or lame (or both) but I don't remember seeing an individual post about the comics for people to discuss them. Do you post them on the main Fringe page here? I have a feeling it's a case of me being really blind and just not seeing them. There is another A comic coming out this Friday. I say we start a trend discussing them this week! ;) I've recently have gotten into comics and I'm just dying to find a group that can talk about them for this show especially. I'm letting my geek side show and I'm totally OK with that. LOL!

    While I was underwhelmed by the Peter aspect of the story, this episode was a really touching moment between Walter and Olivia.  I also love the new catty dynamic (no pun intended) between Nina and Walter.
