Is this the first sign of early Cancellation?

NBC pulling The Playboy Club off the air on October 31st, replacing it with the news magazine Rock Center with Brian Williams

    It was inevitable... good to hear it'll have had 7 weeks though... and I guess this isn't definitely confirming the cancellation. This news wouldn't have the creative team stopping just yet.

    Given it's ratings I'm not that surprised. I'm a little disappointed though, I'm really starting to like it.

    Not surprised really sure they will air remaining episodes sometime in the future, but really whoever commissioned it to begin with I have to ask what where they thinking?

    I'm a bit surprised it will last that long honestly. I thought it was better than I expected, but I expected ridiculously terrible and got a average bad pilot instead. So that's not saying much.

    Between the sinking ratings, the protests and the mostly negative cirtical reviews... I expected it gone in 5 or 6 more so.....
