Charles Widmore and Ben Linus are about to meet again.

EW has learned exclusively that Lost alum Alan Dale will guest star on the Michael Emerson-helmed Person of Interest as a former member of the German Stasi secret police. He will appear in episode 8.

    Alan Dale is some sort of king of guest special roles, right? NCIS, LOST, Ugly Betty... just to name a few.

    Wasn't too thrilled with POI after the pilot, but a few weeks in....I love it. I hope it lasts a long time. Certainly not Lost, but I guess I have to face the fact that nothing ever will be :-)

    I love that he just happens to be guest-starring on episode 1.08. :p

    This will be the second LOST alum on Person of Interest.  Brett Cullen (Goodwin) appeared on the second episode.

    Alan Dale is always a good choice.  That guy has done just about everything from The O.C. to Lost.  He's a great character actor.

    I keep imagining Naveen Andrews popping up for a semi-permanent role as another person who helps protect the people the machine warns about... It'd be like the Ben/Sayid off-Island.. but helping people instead of murdering them!
