    Honnestly Steve getting so mad at Chin is ridiculous. He would have know if they had bothered to ask or see her like Chin did.

    That's not really true.  The only reason Chin knows about who Kono hanging out with is because he just happened to show up while those people were there.  Kono never told him herself.  It's pure coincidence that Chin knows about those people at all.  There's no reason to believe the same thing would happen if someone else from Five-0 showed up.

    Point being none of them did. None of them even mentioned her since the premiere episode, just Chin.
