Ooo time loops I love that. Stephen Root is from Office Space, another reason to geek out
ReplyDeleteThat is, naturally, very tight-lipped and generic, but I am interested in seeing how time loops play in. Given recent material that could be fairly interesting. As for "the fringe team," okay, thanks for giving any clue as to whether Peter is still locked up in an interrogation cell or actually falls under this definition of a team. :P I'm guessing he won't be locked up, or will be out on supervision or something.
ReplyDeleteWow
ReplyDeleteFringe is the only show can make me thrill just because of the episode title (after lost)
Yeah Fringe~
I am thinking loops in loops take what we learned from "Alone in the World" and apply it here:
ReplyDeleteLOST--->Because You Left and Follow the Leader = time fold (history from previous timeline fills in memory gaps, repeats and makes it apart of (bridge) "current' time/John Locke was dead and alive at the same time!) = Peter went to to a previous interation of his (seasons 1-3) previous reality ---He left behind those from his reality to make the bridge, because he had to go back to this one and find a way to change it to "fit into" the new reality, which we haven't actually seen yet.
Ah, this is the Stephen Root episode. Been looking forward to it. Sounds like another White Tulip.
ReplyDeleteWow! You gave me alot to think about, and digest. Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteNo offense, Darth, but did you drink a six pack of Red Bull before you wrote that?
ReplyDeleteSorry Darth I had to like that comment! It's the pacing of the prose. I read it like a man on redbull!!!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest it feels like I do when I write this stuff down! XD ---It's hard to explain...it's like those BING commercials! I start reading information and things start connecting (but to fair it really only happens with things I know pretty well, like Bad Robot works for instance or philosophy)
ReplyDeleteOften times I am in a hurry too, because I live on a farm and I have limited time to go online...so my posts often seem erratic...Sorry about that!
It's okay, Darth. You make a lot of good points.
ReplyDeleteYeah. No mention of Peter whatsoever was a bit irksome.
ReplyDeleteIt's endearing. No worry, just a jest between pals.
ReplyDeleteyeah, i know. my fav episode
ReplyDeleteJust have something to add to the theory that Peter left his time behind and went to another one, a previous alteration, or otherwise....
ReplyDeleteIn the prequel comic series Walter tells his psychologist about the time he and William Bell build a time machine in the 1970's.....somehow in Nazi Germany a duplicate time machine was also made and turned on 'at the same time'....Walter and Bell end up going in theirs to Nazi Germany and they meet Walter's father, who is called Hans instead of Robert...Eventually they get into trouble and Walter's father helps them escape...Walter claims that they send Hitler in the Nazi time machine back to 'the time of the dinosaurs'.before they returned to their timeline..but Walter was taking a lie detector test while telling this story, and it claims Walter made it all up!----But we know that Walter and Bell believed that dreams might be insights into other realities...and so it could be this is a memory from another timeline...and so it isn't the truth of history for 'this' one, but it could be the truth for another...possibly a previous one that 'relates' to this one...It is also unclear "what" Nazi Germany we went to...during season 3, I thought maybe it could have been the red universe', because they are often 30 yrs ahead in some areas...but really no one knows....it could be any Nazi Germany...The bigger point though was that one machine from one place essentally called out and became n'syn with another machine in another place...Peter's machines might not just be bridges to parallel universes, but maybe also bridges to pairs of other parallel universes....
This gives nothing away but I'm excited!
ReplyDelete"Peter's machines might not just be bridges to parallel universes, but maybe also bridges to pairs of other parallel universes."
ReplyDeleteThis!
This is where I was going with my Parallel Multi-verse idea/theory.
Friday night I participated in the Pinkner and Wyman live Tweet while the west coast airing was going on, and believe it or not Pinkner responded to one of my questions,
I asked Wyman to please tell me if the Yellowverse was really a parallel multiverse to the Red and Blue verses. He responded: Define Multiverse. I replied As red is to blue, so Yellow is to Red and Blue combined. I got no responce after that. So take of it what you will.
Of course my parallel multiverse theory is like this: Just as the Red verse is parallel to the Blue verse, there is another pair (or multiverse) paralleled to them. this would be the yellow/amberverse and it has it's own single color because it is a bridged multiverse itself. So on one side we have Red coupled with Blue, and in these everything we know of from season 1-3, while at the same time on the other side we have Yellow/Amber which is another coupling of two but this is where we and Peter are now. At some point there will be a realization of this by Peter, and he'll try to go home.
ReplyDeleteExactly...
ReplyDeleteBut that's also why I think this parallel-universe has to either be it's own separate cluster (thinking of "Alone in the World"'s psychic fungus) or it has to be a fungus within, that 'already exists'...which the second makes the most sense to me, because they have a machine too...unless we are suppose to believe that the machine is the first thing in the universe and is considered "natural matter"???????
But if we are right, then it will be interesting to see why Peter needed to go here!
Yeah! I noticed the Statue of liberty wall prints too, and thought the same thing...Are we headed for a Green-verse? Plus there was a lot of Green, Green, Green, Red color symbolism in Subject 9 too (Olivia's Apt, [2 perspectives: one from in it, the other from video in Walter's lab] The diner, then right after that Cameron's Apt which was red. We all know that those are the Observer colors so...
ReplyDeleteI wonder what is going on with Peter by this time.
