So energy!Peter is hit by a car? Poor thing, he can't catch a breath! And Astrid is with Olivia in the field, that's nice. I reaaaally want it to be friday!
“Yes. Her voice goes right into my inner ear and rattles around like razor blades. Of course I heard her.”
Aside from the hilarity (and the absolutely brilliant delivery), it is interesting Walter and Nina don’t seem to get along very well. Peter’s absence obviously brought about that change in dynamic, but I wouldn’t have expected it. The rest of the case sounds like Bad Dreams - Cortexiphan subject unwittingly connecting with Olivia, but I think there’s going to be a spin on this one. Maybe that spin is Peter since he has to come back pretty soon here. Thanks for posting.
I'm still laughing!haha! I think the fact that Nina and Walter don't get along has something to do with Walter's attempt to brong peter here and save him.Has Nina lost her hand in this timeline?
I also wonder if William Bell is dead and if he is has he left Massive Dynamic to Walter?Maybe in this timeline Bell left it to Nina (otherwise they wouldn't need their approval to search the files ,plus Walter would have already study every file in Bell's office!)
I can't believe that one of my all time favourite episodes of Fringe actually never existed!(season 3 episode 15-Subject 13) and Olivia has no idea about her abilities (because clearly she didn't use telekinisis to stop the machine!!)
one last point. At the end of the 3rd clip,is it Walter shouting "Olivia" or (if I heard correctly) Peter???
I think I heard "Olivia," but I could be wrong (trying to warn her about the car). In any case, Walter has already slipped up once, I would bet on him doing it again.
I was hoping some more information on how Nina's role is different in Olivia's life this time around but knowing that she was the favorite during the trials is nice, too.
Cortexiphan plot... Nina super bitch... Nina and Walter's new rude relationship... love all of this. The blue light is not Peter after all. My first assumption was correct.
"Her voice goes right into my inter ear and rattles around like razor blades!" -Walter "Subject 9"
There is similar hostility towards Sharp here, that Walter had towards Olivia in...
"The Same Old Story"
OLIVIA: Doctor Bishop? I may need you to take samples from the motel room. I need you to come with me. Walter. WALTER: (over the corpse) Do you see what I'm doing here?! PETER: Hey... relax. WALTER: I can't figure this out with a girl buzzing in my ear. I am trying to put these pieces together like a puzzle. How this happened, how he happened to her. I'm working.
It could be the cortexifaner Cameron, but --I also keep thinking about Bell and how we are all bunddles of energy (as many atoms in me, as stars in the sky--and how he became a blue orb when he 'used himself with the particle accellorator' in "Over There Part 2") and that 'blue orb' could Peter trying to break through...thinking about "6B"'s power of emotional entanglements via death/loss and how I think these machines are a link/network time and space together including and the plane(s) of conscienceness (where we are when we die -according to Bell)...but it would be weird if "substitution" is occuring...if Peter is using subject 9 as a vessel to reach out to Olivia!
Maybe this hostality is because partially Walter blames Nina for what happened to Red!Peter. She was the one trying to stop him and the reason why the vial of the cure broke. And in the end that was the reason why he had to bring him over. And we know what was the result of that in this timeline...
I love the new Walter / Nina dynamic. More of that, please. Also, hey Walter and Olivia, stop avoiding the blob and just touch it. It needs to connect to this universe and you two are the connection. Give that blob a hug. :)

ReplyDeleteVery cool clips! Loved the second with Walter's reactions to Nina...... another great John Noble performance but on the lighter side
ReplyDeleteOh, my god. I’m going to die laughing.
ReplyDelete“Walter, did you hear that?”

Oh my god this episode will kill me. Bad Dreams is (still!) my favorite and it seems like this one is it's counterpart. :D
ReplyDeleteViper! HAHAHA!
ReplyDeletei loved when Walter examine his old cases... this is gonna be good
ReplyDeleteI don't think that was Peter...
ReplyDeleteI'm still laughing!haha!

ReplyDeleteNo,that's not what I meant. You can definately hear "olivia" but I think it's Peter who says it,not Walter!
ReplyDeleteYou might just be right.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping some more information on how Nina's role is different in Olivia's life this time around but knowing that she was the favorite during the trials is nice, too.
ReplyDeleteOH! Yep, I completely read that wrong. I thought it initially sounded like Walter, but now I'm not so sure.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!
ReplyDeletecan't wait for tomorrow
and nina is back *happy*
i love walters reactions during their conversation :D:D
and the last one OMG *__*
Poor Peter. To be forced to communicate to those he loves as some kind of energy ball and still no respond, just hit by the car.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or is Walter looking a little strung out in these clips? Still, looking forward to this ep very much.
ReplyDeleteRazor blades, love John Noble. Can't wait for friday!!

ReplyDeleteYeah think it was Peter
ReplyDeleteI'll have to watch these later, they keep breaking up for some reason... Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteI'm dying to know if Nina still lost her arm in this new timeline.
ReplyDeleteYESSSSS! Glad to see that Nina is back! This is going to be one great episode!
ReplyDeleteI love season 4 so far!

ReplyDeleteThe blue energy story looks intriguing and the Walter/Nina exchange is hilarious..."Viper!"
