Part 1

Amy tells Twilight that her tracking system tells her that Buffy and her Slayer army have drowned, Twilight refuses to believe it and tells her that it is incorrect. He knows Buffy too well and he knows that she would not die such a simple silent death. Warren turns to Amy and whispers “he KNOWS Buffy?” one of the scientists tells Twilight that it may take a while to find them again but they will find them. In fact he has found a large burst of magic and has an area that he will start looking for them.
Back in Tibet, Buffy is explaining to Oz and his wife that they need to learn to suppress their magic and they need his help. Oz’s wife tells them that they have seen the televisions shows and they are very aware of the bad press Slayers are getting at the minute. As Oz’s wife pours each of them some tea Oz asks if they would like to meet their child, Kelden, everyone gasps in excitement except Giles and Willow, Willow simply looks shocked and reassures herself that she is fine with the news that Oz has moved on and had a child. Giles takes his glasses off and apologises for his bluntness but Twilight is searching for them and they really need to learn how to get suppress their magic as soon as possible.
Oz begins to tell the story of his experiences in Tibet, he explains that he came here (when he left in season four) and they gave him herbs, medicines and meditation techniques. He thought he was well enough to return to Sunnydale and that’s when he realised the wolf could still break free (when he attacked Tara). He returned to tibetand continued his learning, he tells them that its hard and sometimes he just wanted to give into the wolf and let it win. Buffy understands and mutters to herself about giving into the power inside. Oz explains that he had Bay to keep him grounded and to not want to give into the wolf, through his growing love for Bay he learnt that suppressing the wolf only made it angry, instead you have to embrace the power inside and to spread it into the natural energy around you, the wind, the earth, nature. “Don’t be a lake, be a river” and let your power flow through you.
Oz suggests they go for a walk around the area to introduce them because if they plan on learning to suppress their magic they may be here for a while. Oz, Bay, their child, Willow, Buffy, Giles, Dawn, Faith and Xander are seen walking the hills and across streams, as they walk through the stream Xander slips and Dawn grabs him “Don’t worry, I’ve got you” she smiles at him. Oz then begins to tell the story of a man who came to Tibet to suppress his wolf, his name was Monroe. He successfully suppressed his wolf and when he left he spread the word on this sanctuary and others came. They found it hard to supress the power and instead it overcame them. They came to believe that the wolf was the better part of them and they turned against Oz and their peaceful group. Monroe came to be their leader and now they live on the outskirts of the sanctuary. Oz then tells them that you have to really want to suppress the power otherwise it will reawaken with more control, they need to be sure they want to stay here and learn or they have just made his home a very dangerous place.

Twilight’s scientist leads them to an area where he believes the Slayers are hiding and is incorrect. Twilight gets angry and demands that the scientist is killed instantly, they do not have time for incorrect guesses, he wants to find them for definite. We shift back to Tibet as Oz tells the Slayers that the first part of their training will physical exertion, they need to return to a state where magic is not used and physical power reigns. The first thing they need to do, is bury the submarine. Twilight turns to Warren, Amy, Riley and his other followers he tells them that Buffy will make a mistake and when she does they will find them, but the important thing is that they will not defeat Buffy by allowing her to “put down her sword” and surrender but by making her turn the sword on herself.
