Blood and Treasure - National Treasure creator to work on new TV Series

Fremantle has hired Charles Segars, creator and exec producer of both National Treasure movies, to create Blood & Treasure (working title), a TV drama series about two brothers who go round the world solving crimes and unearthing some of the world’s greatest secrets – kind of cops-meet-The Da Vinci Code.

Maybe now it is time for that CW adventure series "Nomads" with Scott Porter that never happened to be brought back to life again...

The movies were light fun adveture and I enjoyed them. I can see it being an ok seires, but not sure it could be a hit. Also not sure if the scale will be grand enough to be impactful.

I guess global trotting adventure series is the new trend now? Eric Kripke is doing one too and if I recall there is also another one besides the Kripke project also being developed....
