    I found it really interesting to explore what we'd be like without souls too. 
    See? Supernatural is thought provoking and educational :)

    I didn't agree with every aspect of how they portrayed Sam without a soul but, all in all, they did a fairly good job.  It did seem like they put a lot of thought into it.

    What I don't understand about the whole soulless thing is why Sam didn't have to sleep. I find this absolutely ridiculous and one of the reasons I couldn't get behind this idea (well this and that he was an idiot and a d**k). Sleeping is a body function, even animals have to sleep. I think that the writers thought it sounded cool and just put it there without really thinking it through...

    This was interesting to watch.  I still have issues with soulless Sam.  I believe there were too many inconsistencies about what not having a soul entails. 

    P.S.  Has the BTS look at Jensen's first time directing been put up?  I've heard about it but haven't watched it yet.

    I will be so glad when my DVDs arrive! I was surprised to find out that they are being released tomorrow because I pre-ordered over a year ago (that's right) for season 6 from Amazon and they told me that I would not get them until the end of the month. I am hoping that it will be sooner than that, though, because they are usually pretty good about sending stuff ahead of schedule. Anyway, the first episode I will watch will be "Like A Virgin". One of the best of all season!
