Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders — who have a development deal at Warner Bros. (which produces Secret Circle) — will work alongside current showrunner Kevin Williamson.

    I think this is great news....I loved the stuff they did on Smallville and lets keep in mind that they weren't in charge or calling the shots on the first seven seasons of Smallville with all the Clark/Lana angst....

    I watched the pilot and I was not at all impressed. It was just okay. But truth be told, I did not like Vampire Diaries based on the pilot either, not even after the first five episodes. But it was in the second half of the season that I started to like the show and I was really glad I stuck with it. I don't know if I will have the same patience with The Secret Circle though. Maybe a couple more episodes then I'm out.

    True but the mind wipe that happened lined up with the who he doesnt know he's superman part of the mythos...theres no point having a character like him knowing with all the resources he can get his hands on knowing who superman is...it just doesnt make sense in a way...but you know to each his own and all that, lets just agree to disagree...we all have our opinions, right?
