Reba McEntire returning to TV with ABC pilot "Malibu Country"

Reba McEntire may be returning to television!

ABC has just bought a comedy pilot starring and executive-produced by the country singer-turned-actress, Deadline.com reports.

In Malibu Country, the Reba star's leading character finds herself divorced and poor after her rock star husband cheats on her and spends all their money. Reba, naturally the character's first name, moves her family to Malibu where she attempts to revive her music career while keeping her children from being corrupted by the city.

McEntire will reunite with Reba showrunner Kevin Abbott, who will write and executive-produce the pilot, along with Mindy Schultheis and Michael Hanel.

    Sounds like Reba in California instead of Texas...

    But I love her, so will watch if the show gets picked up!

    So this is Reba in Malibu and she gets to sing more than the last time.  I'm actually good with this reboot.  Here's hoping the kids are not annoying.

    Her hairstyle.  Reba
    Mcentire tickets     still  one of
    the bestselling singer  . She's still as
    beautiful and talented since the day she made
    it big.
