Good episode, but that was about it. Loved Stephan being harsh to Elena and didn't see the Klaus history coming, but I wasn't very impressed by this episode like I have been by some of the others.
I think I was expecting more from Forwood tonight but I won't flake on it. It was great a lot of tense moments and I felt bad for Elena after Stefan chewed her out like that. Harsh much? I loved the Forwood moments we did get Caroline was amazing and Tyler was lovely as usual. Their cuddle made me go aww best moment of the night. :)
Frankly, I wasn't sure about this season direction after that grim finale.. but now I can be assured of the writers' ability to bring some really interesting twists to their characters..
Tonight's episode was no less.. though it wasn't the greatest the show has ever made but it made up for it with a lot of revelations about Klaus's and Stefan's pasts..
I agree!I've always loved flashback episodes and this one was no exception...I'm in love with Rebecca and i believe she will make Stefan come back to Elena-she is the one who is gonna help him get his old self back...
That was awesome, didn't see the history of Klaus and Stefan coming, nor did I see that Rebecca is an Original coming. The casting info we got made her sound quite unimportant in comparison, they know how to keep a secret lol. And loved the Caroline/Tyler scenes.
Stefan was just too stupid this episode. He had the chance to free all the other originals. Together they could have killed Klaus. They could tear him into little pieces and burn them. That should kill even him. And I can't believe, Becca is on Klaus side. After what he did. I still think this man Klaus is running from is daddy (I mean papa vamp, not his bio dad). It was about time someone freed Caroline. She was so cute with Tyler. I wonder, if Carolines dad will change his mind and accept what she became. He doesn't have to like it, he just needs to accept it.
Becca? She was playing mermaid Emma in H2O. I must say, I like this character more. As Emma she was just too princess perfect. But I disagree. She likes the ripper Stefan. I don't think she will help him to find his way back to Elena.
I have to confess I don't think I picked my jaw off the floor once. This show was so awesome. Only got to watch it once sadly I was just too tired. But will make up for it. I am still reeling that Klaus was actually a pretty nice guy before he met Stefan. I mean how cool was that. My heart hurt for Elena. Been there and so don't like it. It's going to be more than interesting finding out how Klaus's sister and Elena are going to possibly be at odds for Stefan's love.
Yes, I do have one complaint. This is just my opinion. I really feel Damon needs to lighten up just a bit. I can understand his ferrous anger towards his brother. However, this is not getting him any brownie points w/Elena. I know they will never get to together. :0( But, I do miss the caring, tender moments with Damon right now.
Stefan called Klaus his brother... didn`t see that one coming .... Wondering from who Klaus were running in the 1920s, I bet it will be someone who still can help Damon to end Klaus ;) Kinda liked the witch, can`t just understand why she helps Klaus , but at least she saved Damon ;)
Well that explains that. We know why Klaus wanted Stefan. But man that dude's seriously the abusive significant other. He loves you when he loves you and will hurt you massively when he doesn't. But really the major reason I watched last night's ep was Caroline's story. Such a betrayal from the only parent she'd been close to. The guy *she* accepted when he changed the rules on her by leaving his wife for another man. Caroline is my favorite character on this show...which is saying something because she began as such a cliche.
This ep, considering it was the second ep back, hilighted my worry about this season. That we's spend so much time traveling with Klaus and Stephan that the rest of the stories would fade away. Hopefully, he necklace reveal will mean the focus returns to Mystic Falls quickly.
r u talking about sebastian roches character? I doubt it because i would think that would be the first original that klaus would kill. +if he was the papa vamp and as powerful then i doubt he would've needed people and wooden bullets to kill him. He could've done it himself.

If he is papa vamp he should be powerful enough to kill Klaus without help (especially help from humans). If it comes 1 on 1. But Klaus was with Becca. She could turn against daddy.
And we can't forget his powers. He can compel every human, vampire and probably even every witch and werewolf. So dad (IF he is papa vamp) can't be sure, how many enemies he will have. Remember ep 1? Klaus and Stefan compelled the entire bar.
Besides, Klaus and Becca probably covered their trails. So he joined the police. Many eyes and ears.
This episode was a lot better than I expected. I don't expect too much from flashback episodes so this was a nice surprise.
- Rebecca's reveal as an Original was good but I'm still confused as to why she'll be making trouble for Caroline at school. That doesn't make sense to me.
- I liked Stefan's "cruel to be kind" moment.
- The more that's revealed about Klaus, the more sad and pathetic he seems.
- Caroline was fantastic. Her dad needs to die.
- Sebastian Roche's introduction was cool. I'll be glad to see him again whenever he shows up.
- I'm glad they're keeping Katherine in the loop and I'm wondering what she's up to.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteim really interested in Sebastian Roché charecter. the fact that klause and his sister ran away from him makes him a potentially great charecter
ReplyDeleteLoved this episode!

I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING .. I am too intrigued by why they looking for them and Sebastian Roché is the more reason to be intrigued..

ReplyDeleteI just said ok. I don't know. Maybe I was expecting more from the writers then I got. It just was not as good as some I've seen.

As I said before: my money is on "dad". He must be papa vamp.
ReplyDeleteCause I don't see who else could be a threat to someone as powerful as Klaus.

ReplyDeleteI missed Sebastian's intro because the stupid feed blinked out. :-(
ReplyDeleteThe first I saw of the scene Stefan was looking at the drawing of klaus an rebekah and saying he'd never seen them before.
one of the best episodes of all seasons so far.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the episode was Klaus saying "welcome to Chicago" and I was like "That's ****in' Atlanta!"
ReplyDelete5/10
