  3. I totally saw Carolines dad moment! but it was still a shocker...poor Klaus though his army will never happen!

  4. Oh, bu-hu, poor Klaus. Poor psychopath. His Plan didn't work. I'm so sorry for him. NOT!!!
Could the reason be that Elena is alive again? At least that would explain why Klaus should go back to MF and try to kill her. Again. But I still don't get it. He killed her. She died. The curse was lifted. That she came back should not change anything. I thing, there is another reason Klaus plan didn't work.
Is Carol serious? Calls in Caroline's dad to kill his own daughter? But at least she understands now. It's not what you are, it's what you do.
I hoped so much for Damon to kiss Elena in the end. But hey the season has just started.

  5. Poor Klaus? Are you kidding me? Klaus army, an army of hybrids, is the last thing we need. If his army rises, the humans will soon be on the endangers species list.
Vampires need to feed like every night. And Klaus is a fan of "traditional" feeding. Like on humans. And he is killing these humans. And we can't forget the animalic part (the wolf part) of the hybrids. They are going to be unpredictable.
If his army rises, the days of humans are counted.

  6. Awesome twist with the introduction of Caroline's dad as another secret council person, as the battle lines will be drawn between the parents... Not surpised that Klaus' army idea didn't take (of course the hints point to Elena being alive as the fly in the ointment), but what had me wondering was when Klaus kept saying "It should work, I did everything they said to do" if he was referring to any specific "they"... the other Originals? hmmm

  7. "You sold me out!"

Bros before hos, Elena. Bros before hos.

  11. I'm into the bad boys too.

But the good-bad boys. Like Damon, Spike or Dexter.

And Joseph is a great actor. But Klaus is just evil. And I want him dead. ASAP

  12. Was surprised.  I thought Ray was going to be around a little loner.

I had a couple of moments where I thought Klaus may not be able to completely wolf out because Elena is still alive....and I wondered...why wouldn't he try to change on a full moon.  I know we've jumped ahead by 2 months but he spent thousands of years trying to acquire the ability to change and he didn't even take advantage of the woods and the moon?  I'm never that bored with my new toys that quickly.

Did NOT expect to see Caroline's father.  Didn't expect for him to come off so...unaffected by what happened to his daughter.  This is the girl who supported him after he left her mother to live with another man and we didn't get a moment of regret for his daughter's death?  (Though I'm hoping this is because they were giving us the red-herring in *this* ep ans we'll find out how he feels in the next ep.)

pleasepleaseplease please DO NOT DE-VAMP CAROLINE.  This character has been so interesting, and fun to watch since she became a vampire.

Tyler, you forgot to mention that while your mother was so worried about Caroline hurting you...you're the one who is a danger to *her*.  Though LOVED Mom's reaction.

Glad Damon climbed back on the save Stefan train  (and they got rid of that dorky electro-shock hair mousse style that Hollywood seems to love so much, for evil Stefan.  yay!)

Loved the episode.  Like the way Jeremy's ghost story is building (get Bonnie home dog gone it.)  Love that Matt has something to do this season.

The only thing that I really do not like with this show is the sound track.  It gets heavy handed and intrusive far too frequently.  I shouldn't *have* an opinion about the soundtrack music used in an episode of any show.   I shouldn't notice it.

  14. I see your point there but kill off Klaus and you then have no baddie to tussle with all season...and Damon has kinda turned good but they could make him bad again...what would be ground breaking would be to kill off a Salvatore shake the foundations of the show!

  15. Wrong. We still have Katerina. They promised she'll be back.

And I'm sure we can find a new evil force to replace Klaus. But it would have to be even worse than Klaus.
Kill a Salvatore? They could do that. And then they could stop producing the show.

  16. Omg I loved the scene at the end with Damon and Elena... I want you to remember the things you felt while he was gone.... and the twist with Anna warning Jeremy to not trust Vicky was unexpected!

  17. I really liked this one!
And a running theme so far this season ... all the cliffhangers revolve around Caroline! weirdest thing ... before HRG opened the dungeon door, i thought for a moment, what if he is her dad! :p

i give this 6/10 and that's bad because i love this how in the beginning because of the books and thought that the story would have some actual fighting scenes yes i know i did just there but honestly the book is sooooooo much better .All Elena cares about is herself she A) Did not even say sorry to damon for his loss as she knew he liked Andy infact she instead asked him about stefan .....B) She keeps putting Damon in danger because she is sooooooooooo thick b) when tyler asked "have you spoke to Caroline " she said "no why" Elena was not even caring about Caroline .Loved Kathrine more at least she admitted she was a bitch!. Loved how Tyler stood up  to his mum and did not care what she thought but he just had to for Caroline's sake aswell . Hate Matt i dont know why ? just boring aswell as jemery .Love Alric and how he comes back living with Elena wanting to help them out . Stefan mmmmm where do i begin ok , can i ask you something writers is he good or his he bad ?????????????? am drawing a blank , because he aint that bad but then he kills Andy he did not have to do that just like he saved damon why save him but then kill his girlfriend ? . Kalus is ok but a little stupid he actually put it all together why it did not work but he'll work it out and stefan will go back to elana damon will be miserable like the old days

    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

can the writers come up with something better the book is much better pick up or i'll just through you down meaning the bin .

  19. Except for the lamentable lack of Caroline in this episode, I think this was even better than the premiere.

     - Matt wasn't annoying.
     - Jeremy has something interesting to do.
     - There was no Bonnie, which I honestly don't mind.  I haven't missed her so far.
     - Alaric was very entertaining (I think Damon's personality is rubbing off on him)
     - Needy Damon is needy.  The way he dragged that confession out of Elena was both sad and hilarious.  He needed to hear her say that she cared.  It was nauseating and funny simultaneously.
     - Tyler has come along way from being the douche with anger issues in season one.  I liked the way he dropped some harsh truths on his mother.

These first two episodes are a really good start to the season.

  20. So Jack Coleman is playing a shady, absentee dad with a blonde daughter who has supernatural  abilities.  No wonder they booked him for the role.  All that's missing is the cheerleader uniform.
