  2. Other than the unbelievably TERRIBLE fire VFX around Sookie in Moon Goddess... it was a fairly good episode.

It did have a lot of stuff I did not care for at all though.
    - The return of Faeries into the series.... sigh.
    - Hated that Sookie had the power to solve all of this and did nothing. (I know it's all in her emotion and not a skill she can use, but she was emotional a few times in past 2 episodes so it's a moot point)
    - Not a fan of having Pam turn on her maker. If Lorena could force Bill to have sex with her it seems Eric should have been able to force Pam to not attempt to kill Sookie.
    - I  would have preferred Antonia kill Marnie and make peace with the vampires and then have Jesus help her cross over for good.
    - Too predictable to have Marnie's spirit take over Lafayette.

    Loved:
-Eric drinking from the freshly harvested heart. Wicked!
-The SFX were awesome for Jason's fire burns!
-I liked having Alcide kill Marcus since it sets up next year nicely.

  3. First thought in my head when Eric drank from the heart - "It's like a blood juice box!"

  4. I loved that one line from lafayette " Marnie just puked a ***** out " . This hasn't been the best season but there have been some great one liners...

  6. Great episode, beginning to tie together the subplots a bit.

  7. I use to really really like TB. But the more it goes away from the books storylines, the worse it gets. I still enjoy Eric, Sookie, Bill (I´m starting to like him as king), Jason and Alcide. Even Sam has been good this season. But I just don´t like all the other storylines.
This season has been disappointing to me.
I don´t like Sookies powers, Andy and Terry´s storylines, the fairies, even Lafayette is no good any more. Ofcourse Tara is awful.
I imagened the witch storyline so differently.
Sorry, didn´t mean to be so negative. I still watch every week, but it just isn´t as good as it use to be.

  9. I couldn't have said it better if I tried.  I am still wondering what Eric and Bill were saying between themselves about Sookie.  At this point tho...I am also wondering does it really matter?

  10. Couldn't agree more with this. The season felt like it went by really fast without deeply developing all of the plots, but the comedic value has been way up. I can't even think of how many times I have laughed so hard I had to rewind because I missed dialog. Anything from last week's "parrotphrasing" to "its a Latin thing" have left me cracking up. I swear, someone should compile a list of all of the awesome one-liners from this season as a tribute to whoever thought up almost everything out of Nan's mouth.

  11. I say again...someone needs to show Lafayette how to close the dog gone door!  Really liked this ep.  Loved having our Eric back.  ("...hurt Marnie you have to go through me!")   Glorious Eric...and he took a little sip too.  :-D  I actually believe this Eric loves Sookie.   He and Bill make a good team.  Wonder how long that'll last. Liked Jason...  Andy, Andy, Andy....never swear anything with someone whose finger glows...unless you see the fine print.

    Liked the whole ep.

Now please, show Lafayette how to close that door!  Poor thing.

  12. Ryan, I almost chocked I laughed so hard.

DarqueMode, I agree about the fire CG.  Jason's make up was really good (and happily not CG), but Jesus' demon mask in the practical form, didn't work for me as well as the CG version we saw last week (or was it the week before?)

  13. Speaking fo the one liners...what was the Pam line we were supposed to be waiting for?  Was it "F***n Sookie?"
