  1. It was surprisingly much more funny than I expected.

Kat Dennings was great in the role... her partner in crime was pretty good, but not as strong.

The surrounding support cast was pretty good and thankfully not as 1-note cardboard cutouts that too many sitcoms show in the first weeks.

I can see a fair amount of potential and I plan to keep watching it.... at least for a few weeks.

  2. I wouldn't have tuned in but did because nothing else was on, but I didn't think it was bad. I'd watch it again.

  3. I still have to watch the whole episode, but the few minutes I caught it looked good enough for me.

  4. Kat Dennings was perfect. The other girl was good too.

The supporting cast was awful. If something isn't done then the show will be canceled.

The best part of the show is the chemistry between the two leads. They should build on that.

  5. I liked this, it was pretty funny but like everyone says Kat Dennings was the star I laughed at almost everything she said, I think i will continue to watch this

  6. It was ok, but nothing that blew me away. Kind of formulaic, but liked that they didn't make the blonde a total airhead and somewhat capable. Kat was good in her role, but the supporting players thus far were pretty bad. I might check out a few more eps to see if I get a senese of where they might want to take the show and to see if all the mostly glowing reviews are merited, but for now it's not high on my list for appointment viewing.

  7. I quite liked it.  Although I was momentarily distracted by the fact that the (name escapes me) brunette, experienced waitress, was wearing heels.

I chuckled.  It has potential so I think I'll be checking out more eps.

  8. It was pretty funny...certainly better than any other pilots this season and Kat Dennings was great.

  9. Not bad at all, few lol moments, and her boyfriend was very sexy (still a douche)

  10. I know!

I think networks would put their female characters in heels even when running a marathon!  So ridiculous!

  11. I finally got around to watching this and I liked it.  Despite the fact that many of the good jokes were given away by widely distributed clips beforehand, there was plenty to like about this show:

     - Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings are both very likable in their respective roles
     - Garrett Morris is in it (muchos bonus points)
     - The plot of the show is working toward something.  It's not just random adventures.
     - The writing is pretty decent
     - Their jobs leaves an open opportunity for interesting guest stars and recurring characters

There are a few things that didn't work:

     - The cook.  Americans can't do an Eastern Bloc accent worth a damn and his lines weren't funny.
     - "Bryce Lee" - Nothing funny about that guy at all.
     - The Unrealistically daft, cheating boyfriend.  Is anyone that's capable of functioning in society really that dumb?
     - The overly-exaggerated, vapid, socialite mother of two.  No.  Just no.

Despite the things that don't work, this is still a pretty funny show and I'll be coming back.
