PREMIERE – The series returns for season three and its first fall run with 16 groups vying to be crowned the a cappella champion. Nick Lachey hosts alongside Sara Bareilles who joins Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman as the new judge this season. Eight of the 16 groups unite to perform together. Groups performing include: Afro Blue; The Cat’s Pajamas; Delilah; Fannin Family; Kinfolk 9; The YellowJackets, University of Rochester; Urban Method and Vocal Point. The winner receives a $200,000 cash prize and a Sony Music recording contract.

Coming to her aid is Nick Dalton (Eddie Cibrian, "CSI: Miami," "Third Watch"), one of Chicago’s top attorneys and a regular at the club -- despite the tension this situation creates with his girlfriend Carol-Lynne (Laura Benanti, "Take the Lead," "Eli Stone").   6. SVU, Up All Night and The Office are the only ones I care about. I was excited about The Playboy Club, but certain reviews kind of brought it down for me. I'll give it a shot.
