  1. No shocker that SPN and Fringe jumped to the top. Two great 'community' shows.

  2. The answer for this is not the least surprising.  I have heard from the Fringe fans that this season is very good.  As a Supernatural fan, I know from fact how good it has become.  Those former fans who did not ride the entire thing out are missing the best of the best.  I imagine the Fringe fans are saying the same thing.

  5. Great to see SPN at the top. I hope everyone tunes in live tonight so it gets the ratings it deserves.

Can I admit my secret love for Hawaii 50 here? It is not my usual genre fare, and it is fluff really, but I have a real soft spot for it.

  6. It's good seeing Fringe going in the right direction.

  7. Now if the rest of the Television viewers agreed w/us.  We wouldn't have to worry about our Fav shows getting canceled.

  8. Been very busy with work and Fringe, but I'm gonna jump in SPN bandwagon very soon.

  11. One week in and Supernatural is back at the top, and after last week's EPIC premiere, why not? This season is shaping up to be the best ever. Sera & Co you ROCK!

  12. I'm not surprised about Supernatural or Fringe given that they just premiered.  Look forward to many great discussions with both.

  13. I knew Fringe would jump to the first positions. And I believe that in a few weeks will be the first.

  14. Supernatural is number one. Awesome. It deserves it, the premiere was amazing. I don't watch Fringe, but it probably was probably really good too.

  15. It doesn't really matter unless you have a Nieleon box which most households do not. Actually if I'm not mistaken don't they count all DVR+3 and +7 numbers regardless of if you have a box or not? If so it's better to actually dvr it. But then again advertisers don't like including dvr numbers since people can fast forward through the commercials and the point of the ratings is really to find out what demographic are watching in order to sell ad space to companies.

  16. Well, *sigh* maybe if the damn CW would start promoting it a little more we'd finally get our rightful title of being the most strongest unstopable force known to man in the Si-Fi fantasy world =)

  17. Grey's, Glee and House awesome!!!!
However im shocked TBBT is not as popular anymore.

  18. as a Fringe&SPN fan, I totally agree. But IMO, SPN is Overrated, while Fringe should get much more attention. SPN continued 2 seasons too much. Fringe breaks records from season to season and reinvents the show. Generally, I think Fringe is much clever and interesting than SPN... sorry for my digression but I had to spill it out :)

  19. When I watch a show on In Demand it has less commercials but I can't fast forward at all.  If I DVR it, I can fast forward.  Although I must admit if I see a commercial I am interested in I will watch it.  What amazes is me is w/all the technology of today why is the Nielson Box even necessary.  You would think that everyone w/a cable box would get counted.  If ya know what I mean.

  20. I really don't feel like your comment is very fair. You say Supernatural is overrated and that it went on 2 seasons too much? You know, I'm not a Fringe fan, but I don't go around loudly running my mouth saying that the show sucks and it should've been canceled last season either since I disagree with you. I would never try and begrudge a fan or say rude things about their favorite show, regardless of my opinion. Why harsh on their happiness and squee about the show? Why can't you just keep comments like that to yourself, because I HIGHLY disagree with you on so many levels. Season 7 has been amazing so far.

  21. well Sammy not-so-wise-girl,  why can't you keep your comments to yourself?

  22. I don't appreciate the implication that I am stupid. Maybe you could have actually come here and responded to me with some tact? The only thing I did was express my opinion on how I felt about dissing on a show. I pointed out the unfairness. If you don't like my comments, don't read them. Simple as that, but I do not appreciate being insulted.

  23. Glad to see House included on the list. :-)

  24. Well  while I don't agree with Dor Fiderer  who does not have to watch the show if he does not like it It just goes to show that there is much love for Supernatural  so don't be hatin !

  25. That's really very true. With the analog age dead and buried there's no reason that in the digital cable age that every single box couldn't have a counter somehow in it or attached to it via the cable company to report ratings. If they can remotely update the software or reset your box if it's having issues then it'd be a simple matter to program something that would report what you're watching at any given time on any tv with a cable box in the house. Sure there'd probably be some legal stuff about "If you do not want us to be able to tell what you're watching then you have to sign something saying no." (mostly I'd only see advid porno viewers saying no but even then if you're ordering porno stuff from the cable company on the premium and porno channels they would know regardless right?) But still most people wouldn't have any problem with letting what they watch be reported for ratings at all times. The Nielson system is so old and from a by gone age of analog systems.

As for commercials I see so many commercials when I am watching live tv that usually if I'm watching dvr-ed tv it's still the same friggen commercials I've seen a hundred times before. If it is something I haven't seen and looks interesting to my interests then yes I'll often stop fast forwarding on my dvr to watch it. Advertisers need to either make more interesting commercials and change commercials more often so people don't get bored to death by the same ones over and over.
