"Ring around the Rosie" - Jane notices a suspicious-looking man carrying a gun at a political rally and sets out to prove he's a psychopath on the brink of committing murder. Meanwhile, Lisbon investigates the death of a photographer at the same rally, on THE MENTALIST, Thursday, Oct. 13 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Michael Rady ("Melrose Place") guest stars as Luther Wainwright, the new head of the CBI.

It will be interesting to see how the team evolves following the events of the season finale...

I like to think that Hightower was somehow able to handle Jane, or at
least manipulate him a bit... I remember she had some witty
conversations with him in her office :P

But is Jane still Jane if he can be handled by someone?? :P

I'm sure the new boss will get along just well with Jane. Spoilers said he's a quick learner and will be able to hold up with Jane. I'm more interested at his interaction with Lisbon tbh.

He did get along well with Hightower pretty well. I think she knew she wasn't able to control Jane, which is why she asked him to call her whenever he was about to make a mess :P

Kuddos to Lisbon who has been able to endure him and his spontaneity for all these years! xD

The one thing that weirds me out is that who they cast to play the new head of the cbi is significantly younger than Lisbon and Jane, and if I were Lisbon I would be annoyed that I wasn't offered the job.
